Nice store. Check out is arranged differently from others. Line weaves through the maze of small items, snacks, candy, etc. Lots of registers are in a line. Your app either slow or doesn't open at all. Your customer service, phone and live texting. It's impossible to get information. Why can't I call and speak to someone that I can understand? Why do I have to put in my entire card number and Social Security number, to make a payment? it was quicker before you switched to a bank card! Too often, while searching your clearance online, the price when you look at the item isn't the same as the one while scrolling. I have NO issues with in store shopping. read more

I was on a mission to find a few new items for my little ones. A recommendation from a relative made me locate my closest Kohls. One of my little ones was sleep when we arrived, so double stroller was in full force. Once inside the store, I walked past a few associates who didn't even smile or nod. If any had spoken, I would've asked for directions to the kid's area since there isn't a directory near the door. But I wandered a bit and found a display of sale accessories before I got to the kid's area. I picked up 2 items. Win for Kohls! When I got to the kid's area, I was pleased to see clear signage for the sizes in each section. However, some of the aisles were not wide enough to fit a stroller. So, I wasn't able to easily navigate the entire area. I would have looked longer and potentially found more if I could've gotten around. I did find some items and didn't have to wait long in the checkout line. My cashier was very friendly and conversational. She made up for those who ignored me earlier. I'd come back, sans children, and would check out the kid's area as well as things for myself. read more

This is more for the website then the store but it does concern Kohl's policies. I have been using kohl's both online and at this location for several years. I recently bought something that was on sale for $11.99 using kohl's cash. They charged me $14.99 and then took off the kohl's cash. I really don't think that was fair. Also I've been in the store multiple times and there was nobody who worked there to help me. They also need to open more lines. I recently had an item shipped to a store but due to the corona virus I didn't want to go pick it up so I called customer service to see if they'll deliver it and wave the shipping fee. This store left me feeling "Eh". Nothing fantastic to speak of. I came in to look at clothing for my toddler. I was very disappointed with the selection for toddler boys as there was not much to choose from. We walked through the rest of the store, which was somewhat organized but very neat or easy to find exactly what your looking for. Their carts, especially the ones with child seats are extremely difficult to shop with. The way they have the floor stocked does not accommodate their own carts to fit through in many areas which was very frustrating. read more

Very rude manager named Brian Cook literally yelled at me in front of a line of people while I was asking about a coupon. I had a coupon for $10 off of $50 spent but it was only one per customer and when I was told this, I simply asked to separate my and my boyfriend's purchases so that we could both utilize the coupon. This manager yells at me that I'm "scamming the system" and that the coupons won't work more than once. He told me that no matter how we presented the coupons or whose they were "we" were only allowed to use it once. I asked for his name and he told me his first name and when I asked for his last name he told me and then asked me very rudely if I'd like his mother's maiden name too. I have never been treated so poorly at a Kohl's before. The poor cashier looked terrified. read more

I haven't been into one of these stores in years. But, I received a few gift cards to replace some clothing and figured I'd give it a shot. First, it was filthy. Like garbage all over the place and clothing every where kind of filthy. Second, there was literally only one person working the entire store and she wasn't very friendly. I'd recommend going to a different store. The stuff is over priced and poor quality. The store was a mess and the customer service was terrible. I won't be returning and will gladly give the gift cards to someone that will use them. read more

This particular Kohls has steadily gone downhill the last few years (long before the pandemic). The clothing is unorganized and thrown together in piles no matter what time of day you visit. The store always feels crowded because they try to jam too much merchandise together. But here's the worst part: I was in there yesterday and went into the dressing room. While changing, i dropped my scrunchie on the floor. I picked it up and it had a ball of dust on it. Yuck. Then I noticed there were dustballs and dirt all over the floor. It was disgusting. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect clean floors in the dressing room. Since these problems have been going on for years, with no sign of improvement, I don't think the management cares. That is sad. I have a feeling this store won't be around much longer. read more

I like this Kohl's. They have a lot of great merchandise at fair prices. Not much for shoes but some great menswear. New balance are now made in Indonesia. Poo. They're also carrying philosophy products now. Lot of good home goods in the back now. I love the bedding and pillow section as they have a lot of great stuff. Register lady was holding up the line by gabbing about Kohls cash that took her minutes to explain. Not interested in your attempt to get me to spend more money on a perceived corporate discount. Asked me if I wanted to open a Kohls charge. Nope. Not at 22 percent interest. Our time is valuable. Fitting rooms are unisex and transgender so if your a 45 year old male getting dressed next to a 13 year old girl refrain from making comments like "these jeans are tight in the balls" cause that would be weird. Parking is plentiful. Open late everyday. read more

My significant other and I have been here a few times, the experiences are not positive. The store is not as well stocked and women's selection is dismal. A few months ago, one of the cashiers was very passive/aggressive toward us. We did complain about her. More recently, we went Sunday evening to buy a few things. We knew exactly what we wanted and arrived about 15 minutes before closing. We were having trouble finding sizes due to disorganization, so it took a few minutes longer. Pants were not separated by color nor size so we had to search. We heard the announcement, the store was closing and knew the timeline. A few minutes later, a woman told us, "we are closed." She said this 4 or 5 times in a row with a horrible attitude and very rudely. I told her she did not have to be rude, as we were finishing up. We knew we had to hurry. She did not apologize only tried to justify by saying they close the registers which is a lie. Employees have to stay until all customers leave. I told her were checking out and I had never been treated so rudely by an employee. This employee named Stephanie or Bethany never once apologized, asked if we needed help, or offered any type of good customer service. My significant other told her he was reporting her and she said she did not care. I told her she was very rude and she said that I was rude too. What kind of employee acts like this? I would not have been rude to her if she had not treated us in such a rude manner. Her attitude was horrible. I understand we overstayed our welcome, however if we had been offered help or the store was better organized, it would have been quicker. I am a long time customer and if I choose to shop at Kohls again, I will go to Westgate. There is definitely something wrong at this location. Poor attitudes, poor organization. read more

Was there with my mother and though we found what we were looking for the long waiting line once again makes me never want to return. The store had two cashiers on our end and everyone waited 15 minutes for the line to finally move. An employee called for back up which never showed up. I seriously doubt I will return. Well I did decide to return to the store for a Christmas gift. Found a very nice blouse for my mom and the cashier informed me when I asked for a gift box that Corp. did NOT not send them any boxes this season. I could not believe it. Well I'm not about to buy a gift bag and fold up a blouse in it. Plus the tissue paper was not tissue but a hard paper. I have to downgrade Kohl's now to 1 star. read more

I do like Kohls. Why? Well the one department that I always go to is the housewares / kitchen area. I do like the Bobby Flay cookware and Food Network is really putting out some really nice flatware / serving ware and their cookware, although on the more expensive side, is pretty nice. As for other departments, I think they are comparable to Penny's or Macy's with a lot of really good sales / deals for just about everyone. I did 60% of all my Christmas shopping last year after spending hours in the mall. Definitely a place to stop. I understand that the location is not ideal but there is a Dicks, Home Depot, and a Tuesday Morning in the same area along with a couple great places to eat (Naya, Qdoba, Malley's, Panera Bread, and a Hibachi place I have yet to eat at) so feel free to head on over and spend an afternoon. read more

Don't EVER order online for store pickup. Your charge gets charged automatically, even before you pick it up. If you decide to cancel you have to sit on the phone and get the credit. Waited in line at the store for 20 min, left because the line was not moving at all, only to go home and sit on the phone to get the charge removed. read more

I've been a loyal KOHLS shopper for years. But I've run out of patience for the Highland Heights store. First, it's so dirty. The dressing rooms are gross. So filthy! Why aren't they ever cleaned?? Second, I realize things are rough for retail but they'll get worse if you can't offer any service in your stores. Yesterday I waited over 45 minutes to pay for my purchase. The line was to the back of the store and there were just two cashiers! The coupons bring me back, but the store experience has become too frustrating and unpleasant. Third, agree with the other reviewers that the music is too loud. And the screaming kids are not Kohls' fault, but add to the massive headache from spending time in that store.
