The sole of the shoe is now detaching, so I sent them back with the original receipt and confirmation number as I have done with other shoes in the past from L.L. Bean (THE big reason I shop there is for the lifetime guarantee). Sadly, Cindy from L.L.Bean Repairs Customer Service Rep said, " We can't fix your shoes because they are not boots". I investigated and found that as of this year they are no longer honoring their lifetime shoe guarantees. I am so disappointed that they are not sticking to their word when they sold these to me.
