    Cheese curds
    Kate P.

We were planning on going to Fat Nats but they were closed. A guy walking by recommend Carbone's Pizzeria. We decided to go there! When we walked in it was empty and no one was at the desk. The service was phenomenal and we got our food so quick! I got a diet Pepsi and I did think it tasted odd but that could just be me. I thought it was kind of weird that no one was there but we were there at 1pm. We got our food in like 10 mins MAX! super quick ! We got chicken tenders sides, cheese curds, and a Caesar salad! The chicken tenders were good, the breading was too thick for the thin chicken. But still yummy and good honey mustard. Cheese curds were sooo good! Just the right amount of cheese and coating and it came with marinara ! Not greasy like normal which was great! The salad was phenomenal too! Didn't even need chicken in it ! The walls were pretty scuffed up but I didn't care. If your looking for a place nearby for a quick, cheap bite. Definitely recommend! Will be back

But the venue is very cool, with lots of community type tables. It seems very odd that such a popular, quality restaurant is closing, but there are lots of rumors around this, mostly about the landlord jacking up the rent to a ridiculous amount, and wanting to sell the building. But there has also been press in the past about the owner closing another restaurant possibly in order to avoid unionization of the employees. Who knows what's really going on. But what are they going to do with the big copper pizza oven and all the other installations?

I knew that I had to come because the Korean Chef was crowned a James Beard award. So, I had fairly…read morehigh expectations coming in. When my friend and I walked in, we came into a fairly spacious dimly lit space with loads of people inside. We were immediately informed that there would be over 1.5hr wait for a walk-in table. We were given the option to wait for bar seating as it would probably be quicker - and surely, it was. We did have to wait quite a bit, but it was a tolerable amount of time and definitely less than what it would have taken for an actual table. My friend and I decided to share 2 pizza pies as we wanted to get a taste of two different flavors, so we eventually settled on Korean BBQ & Perfect Pickle Pie. KOREAN BBQ As it was created by a Korean chef, it definitely had true authentic Korean flavors. As a Korean myself, I was very familiar with this soy vinaigrette and have tried this on many salad before - so, it was hitting home for me. Also, you can't go wrong with the bulgogi/beef short ribs known to all those who had Korean BBQ before. The combination of the sauces that they use for this pizza is definitely very rich, full of umami. I personally enjoyed it. PERFECT PICKLE PIE This pie was a totally different flavor to the Korean BBQ. It's less rich and maybe can be overpowered or considered more bland compared to other pizza flavors. But when tried together with the BBQ, it balances out the richness of the BBQ with the more subtle/less umami flavors. This pie gives more of a tangy/sour taste that pickles provide and more of a crunch due to the chips that are added on top. The dill is present, but not overpowering. It's a nice low-key kind of taste that people who like pickles will enjoy. Overall, the flavors were very rich in every pizza pie that we had that our mouths were bursting with flavor. It was definitely the most unique pizza toppings that I've had and can see why it's so highly regarded. I can tell that they really are meticulous with their every process and that their pizza guy by the wood fire oven is expertise in what he does. My friend and I walked out quite satisfied and I was honestly more full than I expected.

We ordered the XL House Special and the cheesy garlic naan. While it was okay overall, it just wasn't as fresh or flavorful as we've come to expect based on our experiences in Eagan. The ingredients didn't pop the same way, and the overall execution felt a bit underwhelming. Knowing how good Football Pizza can be, it was a little disappointing to not get that same quality here. That said, it wasn't a bad meal--but it also wouldn't be my first, second, or even third pick when I'm in the mood for pizza. If I'm craving Football Pizza, I'd specifically make the trip to the Eagan location. They've consistently delivered on flavor, freshness, and overall quality.

We have only ever gotten take out, but the staff is always very friendly, and our order is always ready on time. There are huge freezers of frozen pizzas and dough, too, so you can stock up your house. We order the XL pizza, and it basically feeds 2 adults for 2 meals, it's that big. We do always order extra sauce, though, so that we don't run out and fight over it. I have never eaten at the restaurant,. but they do have casual seating in the second half.

Service was fantastic from the moment we walked through the door. The restaurant is also decorated for the holidays and feels so festive! We ordered: - persian beef, tomato, feta, and harissa (my fave, great spices) - hot honey, smoked chicken, red onion, and pickled peppers (rich flavors) - hot salami and dried chili peppers (generous amount of salami and a bit of a kick) Parking in the North Loop can be challenging! The crust is hard and their sausage tastes really weird, not even edible. Their other meats taste old, it's gross. So whenever I got a pizza here, I would always get the meatball one because all their other meats taste super weird. Like old or something. There are so many better pizza places in the North Loop so this place would be dead last if I ever wanted a pizza. I would say: Red Rabbit pizza is #1 in the NL.Then, Tono's. I would get a pizza at The Loop over pizza here at this place any day, at least it's not dry. Other pizza places, Broadway Pizza, Hometown Pizza, Pizza Luce just outside the NL are fab too. The Snack Bar pizza was my fav but they closed. The #1 pizza in the state is Joey Nova's in Excelsior. The sausage there is the best. Waste of money here. Not worth it.
