Buffet was amazing. Generous amounts of popular Indian dishes. Lots delicious of curries, naan, rice, fruit and vegie salads. Owner/cook has been there forever was very attentive to all customers. Culminated with a wonderful Indian rice pudding and chai tea flavored with rose water. Best Indian buffet in town.

There are so many reasons to love this restaurant. The food is good. The atmosphere is cozy. The owner is a gem of a man. He is so friendly, kind, and caring. Having a conversation with him can go very deep and powerful in terms of how people should treat one another regardless of their differences. This is my second review because I want to elevate the restaurant and have more people patronize it. I try to take as many people to the restaurant as possible when on that side of the water. Tomorrow is Christmas, and it is also the owner's birthday. For years, on his birthday, he has generously prepared meals and served the homeless community. Here's what he's doing tomorrow: https://myedmondsnews.com/2023/12/edmonds-restaurant-owner-will-celebrate-his-birthday-distributing-meals-to-those-in-need-christmas-day/ Thank you, Shazhad, for all that you do. Everyone, if you haven't visited Caravan Kebab yet, I hope you visit at least once in the new year.

Best food in Edmonds! Many vegetarian entrees and lots to choose from for carnivores. I love the mushroom julienne with the garlic naan. Shazad makes wonderful & tasty dishes. It's a lovely restaurant, not in the bowl of Edmonds, but has a parking lot in the village. Try it! You will be surprised by the explosion of tastes in your mouth!

What a beautiful ambiance! Would never picture the inside from the looks of the outside! It's so beautiful The food was really good. I got the Shahi korma with chicken. We also ordered garlic naan but I missed taking a pic. So light and garlicky (yum)! The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the baklava. Was a little too dry for me. We also were gifted kheer for ordering 2 dishes.

We had a wonderful lunch! The beans in tomato sauce are fabulous. Don't miss them! 3 of us shared them as an appetizer. I had the lamb gyros sandwich and loved it. Another had the same but with chicken. Also enjoyed. The butter chicken was delicious, and served with a large bowl of beautiful rice. Only complaint was not enough chicken (maybe 5 small pieces). We three shared a baklava for dessert. We all had a bite or 2. Some of the best I can remember, moist and a great flavor.

While we were waiting to order, the customers ahead of us were joking around and having a friendly conversation with the cashier, and honestly, that told me everything. You could tell this was one of those neighborhood spots where people actually know each other and feel at home. When it was our turn to order, the cashier even made a suggestion that I really appreciated because it ended up saving us money.

They've got a great spot in the shopping center. Easily accessible and convenient parking near by. This place was busy when we walked in - most of the customers were waiting to take out the food. Handful of tables occupied. We were helped by Omar that day - very friendly guy and super helpful. Ordered Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Burger & Greek fries and Mixed Veg Sandwich. Wait time was about 15-20 mins with a lot of Customers waiting. The food was really great. The flavors were really amazing. Loved the tzatziki sauce they have used. The portions were decent. Special mention to the Greek fries. It's a small restaurant, can get crowded easily. But delicious food and great service (except the wait time). If you love the Greek food, you must try this place.

Unlike many Edmonds establishments, you don't have to make a reservation a month in advance to get a table. We went tonight on a beautiful summer evening and only waited a few minutes to get an outside table. The hosts were clearly young adults/older teenagers and they were so sweet and welcoming. I wish I caught their names! Our waiter (I wish I got his name, too!) was super helpful and attentive. They obviously updated their menu over the past year, because I saw many dishes that I had never seen before. My biggest complaint is just that I wanted to order too many things. I ordered oysters and clam chowder in a bread bowl, but I am definitely going back for the grilled peach bruschetta and the coconut prawns! They also had a killer key lime pie on display that I was sadly too full to eat! We had the best view of the train tracks, the ferry, and divers going in to the sound. We had an overall lovely experience, and will definitely be back. I don't know who their current head chef is, but he or she is doing a killer job! Perhaps my favorite part about this restaurant is that it is actually reasonably priced! You don't necessarily have to pay $40-$50 just for your entree. Also, the menu is so large and diverse that it satisfies both picky foodies (my husband), kids, and people who just like a lot of variety (me). That's a hard thing to do! This place is one of the best spots Edmonds has to offer, year round!
