Very cute shop in the heart of Covington. Parking is a bit crazy but there is a public parking lot nearby. Tried the orange hot chocolate and the maple orange latte with a huge chocolate croissant. Very good hot chocolate, and the latte was okay, just not for me. The croissant was light and flaky. Service was a bit backed up but they were very nice.

My intern and I stopped in for an early lunch/coffee break. We received the warmest greeting from the girl working the coffee bar. She was super helpful and patient. We ended up ordering a few food items, like chicken salad, quiche, and a few pastries. I learned the food is all sourced from other local businesses. I really enjoyed the quiche and the chicken salad. The almond croissant was good as well. For drinks, we ordered from the Analog Coffee Bar-- where the more artisanal drinks are made and served. I got a banana pancakes drink. It was essentially a cappuccino with banana and buttermilk flavors. It was one of the smoothest coffee drinks I have ever had, but sadly the flavor was a 3/5 for me. Considering it has been a top seller, it was definitely just a personal preference thing. Carabello remains one of my favorite coffee shops in the Cincy metro!

The barista, Emma, is amazing! I confessed to being a matcha newbie and she was extremely willing to take an extra second to help me find an order that I would appreciate. Her kindness had already left a great impression - and then the matcha with honey and vanilla was absolutely delicious as well!

Always love stopping into Carabello. Today was especially serendipitous- got a parking spot right outside, got to spread out on the comfy couch, and my strawberry rose mocha (one of the seasonal drinks) was delicious! Service was amazing- Cameron was so friendly! Looking forward to the next time I'm back.

Great spot for coffee with plenty of seating, relaxed atmosphere, and excellent brew! The space is pretty large. Once you find the actual front door. There are several doors on this corner shop with a suggestion to keep going down the block to the actual front door. When you're in, you have a couple of options. There's a straight-forward menu with drinks and some tasty bites. There's also the Analog Coffee Bar with personalized something or other. I don't know for sure. A barista looks ready to make something excellent for you though. I ended up hanging out here for a few hours, catching up on work, drinking some really good cold brew, and using their WiFi. It is a fine spot!

This is always a great place to catch up with a friend or enjoy some solo time with a great cup of coffee or hot chai. Friendly faces are the first thing you see upon arrival. They'll take your order, give you a number (if you get anything to munch on needing warmed up), and you can pick a seat on either side of this spacious establishment. If you go during a weekday, especially morning times, expect a lot of chatter and a higher than normal noise level, as it is frequented by local business folks. Of note: you can opt for a non disposable cup/mug for dining in, upon request. Otherwise, they will give you a disposable cup.

Newports worst kept secret (because everyone knows and loves it)! - breakfast sandwiches: grab one from the fridge & ask for it heated up. Fresh ingredients, well made & decent price. - hot coffee: rich and the most perfect temperature. the latte art is also a hit. - vibes: cozy, chatty, nice service, work space, and a nice way to spend a morning or afternoon. Hot Tip: bring a notepad and pen and shove some notes in the walls!

Conclusion: Very cool environment to explore different types of coffee. Nice place to do some studying or reading. Carabello is open later than a lot of coffee shops, which is nice if you want an early evening brew or a place to hang late with a friend. Would recommend any traditional type of coffee drinks. Go check them out! For the full review check us out on Instigram or TikTok @hunting_coffee

My first visit to Carabello and it did not disappoint! I met with a friend for a coffee date this morning and wow I don't think I've ever seen a coffee shop so packed! I knew I was in the right place lol! I tried the goetta, egg and cheese wrap and the orange cappuccino. The wrap comes cold in the cooler but they heat it up for you and it was pretty tasty! They also brought out a side of salsa to go with it. The drink was good as well. While the shop was very busy it was a nice size venue and had two sides to help with seating. I'll definitely be returning!

Attended a tasting at the Coffee bar. The "bartender" was very conversational throughout the experience and we felt welcomed and intrigued by the different seasonal drink options. Lovely for a weekend morning date.

Cute coffee shop with tasty coffee, friendly service and a hip atmosphere. I'm so glad that I stopped in to get a hot brewed drink and meet a friend for conversation. I bought my plus one a pound of their dark roast so he can enjoy it at home.

I visited recently and tried the blue matcha latte. I enjoyed but personally didn't think it tasted different than a normal matcha latte, and also the powder had clumped at the bottom. The staff were very friendly and while it was very crowded (Saturday morning) they were fairy quick to serve me. Overall this was a fun visit and I would definitely visit again.

Tried this at the Cincinnati Coffee Festival, and decided we would take a trip down to Newport on Saturday morning to try the full experience. Great little coffee shop. Two big seating areas. Aside from fresh coffee, they also sell supplies for making your own at home. We both tried their seasonal peppermint mocha. My wife had hers hot, I had mine iced. Really good! I also tried one of their chocolate croissants, served hot. So light, flaky, and delicious! Worth the drive down to Newport to check out. If I lived closer, I think I would be a regular!

Talented, social, and gives great energy. The boutique was very comfortable and cozy. The service was excellent starting at the moment you walked through the door. Rolling out a red carpet would make it better. I really enjoyed the story explaining the operation and the push for excellence. Analog pushes to make every barista to be better and to push the envelope. The mission is to have an environment where you want to see all baristas instead of the "favorite one". The means the team will work to all be at their best and consistent with the signature and seasonal menu items. Another unique feature is that each barista is responsible for creating an exclusive drink for the menu which refreshes every 6 weeks. This is legitimately your non-Alcoholic bar in the way they operate. A cool thing was the crafted drinks have their own personal stories attached to them and are not from chat gpt or google inspiration. Aside from the coffee focus Shelby was able to provide some great recommendations for the area and providing a local insight. I'm going to highly recommend anyone in the Cincinnati or Kentucky area to please go visit them. 5/5

It was honestly so delicious, and oddly enough was even better reheated the next day! (Reheated great in a toaster oven) It also came out quicker than I expected. (With it being Chicago deep dish, I was prepared to wait!) We also got their appetizer sampler. The items were good, but the pizza balls definitely stood out! The dough was so fantastic and clearly homemade. It was perfectly buttery and flaky, yet firm structural. The sauce was also delicious. A must: pairing everythingggg with their house made ranch. My brother got a steak hoagie and was pretty disappointed when a small sandwich with a meat patty and a side of potato chips is what came out. It just didn't match the caliber of the pizza at all. We also got to Italian sub style hoagies, and those were both small and underwhelming as well. The dining room had a bit of a disheveled feel but I couldn't quite put my finger on what was off. The servers were attentive and kind. We parked at the Levee and walked over. Overall synopsis: I actually can't wait to get pizza here again!!!

The restaurant was clean and comfortable. They have outside seating, which could be nice in the right weather, though the area is just feet from the main drag. Our server was fine. I have no real recollection of them. We ordered a deep dish, looking to find a pizza as good as Zachary's in California. Bourbon House Pizza is not as good as Zachary's, but it is the best deep dish pizza we've tried in the Cincinnati area since we've been back in Cincinnati since 2021. We made our own pizza in an attempt to match our favorite - spinach and mushrooms. It was good. I enjoyed the sauce on top. Under the sauce, the cheese was very thick making the overall taste of the pizza very cheesy. We had a similarly cheese deep dish in Chicago. Our pizza at Bourbon House was better. I will say the crust is thick. I would have eaten the crust if there had only been two pieces per person. Since I was faced with potentially eating four pieces, I opted to skip the crust. One of our group asked if she could order from the kid's menu. The server had no issue with the request. Oddly enough, her meal was huge! We were all surprised it was a kid's meal. Our fourth ordered a small pizza. It looked like it had pineapple on it. I didn't ask how it was, but he ate every bite. It must have been a small and it was the perfect single serving size. Oh... we ordered a medium deep dish. It was eight pieces and was too much for two people. Because we were going to a show after dinner, we didn't box up the leftover two pieces. This size pizza would be great for four people to share. We will continue to look for great deep dish pizza, but we definitely found a good one at Bourbon House Pizza.
