In true Oep Boy fashion, they suddenly cant do my work in a reasonable time. They are "too busy". They made an appointment with me and did not honor it. He asks me if I could droo it off, which is one of thier ways of making the customer "choose" to cancel. They have to know that leaving your car there for hours is a ridiculous response. They could have given me a courtesy call, but instead Im wasting gas and time for thus bullshit. If they know they are booked up that bad, why not just tell people that in advance? Dont tell people to come back and start that " drop it off" crap. People have to arrange rides, change plans, strategize - you dont wait until we get to the shop for our appointment to do that. This is a big issue with many Pep Boys. I have found two out of many in the Atlanta Metro that doesnt engage in bullshit.

I really wanted to give a positive review because the brake pad replacement itself went smoothly,…read morebut unfortunately the experience took a turn afterward. When I went outside after the service, I immediately noticed a lug nut was missing. After looking closer, I saw that the wheel stud itself was broken - which I know for a fact was not damaged prior to the repair. When I contacted the mechanic about it, he did not deny breaking it and asked me to go purchase a new stud and lug nut, which I did right away. He said he would return to install it, but after that point communication became very unreliable. I texted several times with no response. When he finally replied "yes" to confirm he would complete the repair, he still never followed through. Since then, my messages have gone unanswered. On top of that, he told me the broken stud was "no big deal" and that he knows someone who drives around with multiple broken studs - which was extremely concerning to hear from someone responsible for vehicle safety. I don't feel comfortable driving with a broken wheel stud, and the situation has been left unresolved. I wish this could have been a positive review, but based on the lack of accountability, poor communication, and safety concerns, it cannot be.
