Guys what happened? I dropped my car off last Sunday for leaking coolant. I did not hear from you until Tuesday to say you hadn't determined the issue and would need to do a tear down which would require two hours of labor I was fine with that. On Wednesday when I came in I was told the engine was leaking and would require close to three thousand dollars. I picked the car up and took it to the dealer per your recommendation and they called me in an hour to say the water pump was leaking and that you guys misdiagnosed the problem. Well one thousand three hundred and ninety nine dollars I'm back on the road, so as you can imagine I'll be down to see you tomorrow to get my funds returned Suffice to say I am once again disappointed with the service I received, you guys did an awesome job last time I was there, your like hot and cold. I came in first thing in the morning and a very nice young man was opening. I told him I had tire issues and asked if they had openings. He told me not right away, but at 1:00 (4+ hours later) if I come back they would take care of me. SO - I carefully drove back home, 30 minutes drive on suspect tires, and came back. I looked for other locations, but nobody I called had a spot - well, nobody close. So I had to do what I had to do. I get there and another young man is there. In true Oep Boy fashion, they suddenly cant do my work in a reasonable time. They are "too busy". They made an appointment with me and did not honor it. He asks me if I could droo it off, which is one of thier ways of making the customer "choose" to cancel. They have to know that leaving your car there for hours is a ridiculous response. They could have given me a courtesy call, but instead Im wasting gas and time for thus bullshit. If they know they are booked up that bad, why not just tell people that in advance? Dont tell people to come back and start that " drop it off" crap. People have to arrange rides, change plans, strategize - you dont wait until we get to the shop for our appointment to do that. This is a big issue with many Pep Boys. I have found two out of many in the Atlanta Metro that doesnt engage in bullshit. read more

Black was great! Very quick and super efficient. He identified exactly what was wrong with my car and now my baby is running like new again. And side note: Their bathrooms were very clean. I have been to many Pep Boys and they are usually disgusting. I will definitely go back to this location and would highly recommend! read more

Brought my van in for check engine light and was supposedly fixed but drove off lot and light came right back on. Was told to bring it back in and stated I had 4 error codes and they fixed 2. Asked why would you not addressed all issues sent in a complaint with corporate and was told to bring it back in. After second repair light still came back on. After third time of repair light went out and I was able to get my emissions test but right after that the light is back on. I will never use them again. read more

Came in there two weeks ago knowing exactly what my issue was, I was leaking antifreeze from my water pump and I needed a new water pump. The radiator and thermostat were brand new, so we knew it was the water pump. They confirmed that and we got the water pump fixed. Well barely two weeks and over $500 later, the water pump is leaking again, and actually worse this time. I have a warranty, but I am pretty sure they are going to try to say it's something ELSE costing me MORE money. After paying over $500 for a service, it should not fail in two weeks! I will remove this review when or if my problem is handled satisfactory. read more

When I first got here the guy in the front office told me it would be a 2 hour wait and then a mechanic came out and asked me what I needed done and told me he could get it done in 20 min and he did. All I received at this Pep Boys was a brake light change and a tag light change. Great service! read more

I will never spend another cent with PepBous. I ordered a part on Oct 10 and had not received it in 2 weeks so I called them. They supposedly contacted the vendor nd had the part resent. November rolls around- still no part. I called them and requested a refund. 2 weeks later I have made 3 calls to them about the refund. Supposedly a supervisor called to the finance company to expedite the refund because it had been over a month. Called back Nov 21. Still no refund and I was told again that the finance company would be contacted to expedite the refund. I'm getting excuses about the vendor, the vendor has to refund them blah blah. THATS YOUR PROBLEM NOT MINE!! JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!! So you mean to tell me that PepBoys can't refund me my $30 sum until they get it from another company? Excuses. I will NEVER by so much as a zip tie from them again!!! read more

So I needed brake service for my vehicle, I saw that there was an opening for a 5 pm because of my crazy work schedule. Well the guy makes me wait till 5pm and he tells me that the Brake technician was gone for the day. Why would the website have a time slot available for that time and then I get there and he's not there. So I went home and watched a YouTube video on how to change brake pads. So two things First of Thanks for not providing Customers Service and Thanks for Saving me $120.00. read more

It would help if the Service Manager would explain more in detail as to what exactly my services would cost. I feel as if he was trying to Haggle me. A mechanic name Felix began to explain to me the options the service on tires that day and the mechanic Micheal assisted us and placed the tires on the vehicle. The customer service at this Pep Boys location was great! I needed to replace my front two tires...one had a huge buckle in it which was causing severe imbalance while i was driving and I was afraid it was going to give out at any moment... the other had no tread and a tear in it as well. Prior to arriving to this location, I had went to 3 other major auto shops that turned me away - i was told over and over that they were all booked. I called this location and even though they were booked, the gentleman Patrick said he would squeeze me in. When i arrived, I was greeted by Victor who was also great and provided great customer service...I asked if I could also get an oil change while I was there and he said he would put in a request and see what they could do. I understood there would be a wait and I didn't mind...i was just grateful that they actually were able to replace my tires that day. To get my oil changed as well was icing on the cake. i received excellent customer service from Ken last year. which is why i returned but sadly he no longer works there. this time i was helped by a man named Marcus. when he asked me to go next door to buy a headlight because they were out of stock..i didnt mind doing so. i returned with the headlight and waited for a good amount of time for my car to be serviced. when Marcus called me up to pay,he advised me that he had indeed found a headlight and so he gave me the one that i had purchased back and told me to take it back to the store for a refund. thats where i got irritated. why cause me the customer to be inconvenienced because he found the part after the fact? why not just go ahead and use the headlight that i had already purchased??? so after having to wait in line once at the auto parts store next door, then wait for my car to be serviced, then go back to the auto parts store next door and wait in line again to return the part..and all of this after working a long 9 hour shift..I WAS BEYOND ANNOYED! next time, consider the customer and value their time instead of trying to make sure that your company got the money for the headlight and not the place next door................. read more
