I hate to give a business place a 1 star. But this place deserves it. I would have gave them 0 star if there is any. I bought a Mercedes here 3 weeks ago. When I was picking up the car, all the problems were remain unfixed. The sales told me in order to get the "Check Coolant Level" message off, I need to drive about 20 the 30 miles to let the liquid go through, then the message will no longer be showing which is completely bull shit. He doesn't even know what he was talking about. Unprofessional. After getting the car, I made several calls to make sure their repair shop has the parts to get my car fixed. 1. Stepping portion of the car. 2. Plate bracket, (there used to be one on the car, they decided to take it off, and screw the license plate on my bumper, which damaged my bumper) 3. Coolant Level 4. The second set of the key for my car. ( Yea, believe it or not, I still didn't get the second set of key until today. Just called, they picked up the phone at the first time, then refused to pick up the phone again.) Now going to the body shop parts, it turned out that they have never told the people in the body shop about this car at all. I had to go to body shop and flamed at them to get my car fixed. The second set of the key is the best part of the story. They promised to look for the key on my first visit at the shop. I trusted them, so I placed my order on the car, however, the electricity went out, so I had to come back the next day. They still didn't find the car the next day. So I waited, after a week, I went back to the store, they randomly took out two keys and tried on the car, then apologized that they were not the right one for my car, and promised to check their inventory. The funny part is, I have the car with me, and if they had to test every key they found, there is no way for them to find the right one. They used XEROX PRINTER to copy the key down, and promised to find it, or order another one from Mercedes. 2 weeks passed, no updated information from them. They are not replying the message, nor picking up the phone. I suggest you to avoid this place. A bunch of liars. read more

I bought a 2015 mb e350 from this guy Darryl and was cheated of a spare key for this car. before I signed the papers i asked this guy if I was going to get a second key and he said yes. when I got home, he had given me a remote that did not work and had no key in it. I spent 3 weeks trying to talk to this guy Darryl and his managers and was never able to get one of them on the phone. very bad experience with this guys. It also seems as if this car was in a car accident before since I see some paint drops in the back bumper. I checked the carfax report and it said the car had no accidents. read more

my go to place everytime i need to upgrade. great selection and even better customer service. A1 guys

I went to European Masters a few months ago to get a Mercedes ML350 for my girlfriend to replace our Nissan Rogue, and it was possibly the WORST dealer experience I've ever had. In 2005 I bought an Audi A6 through their partner Auto Expo and it was a great experience, which is what I expected from Masters. I did business with Henry who I told from the very first conversation that "I want you to always tell the truth regardless of how it may seem because I'd still want to do business if it didn't work out with the initial car I chose". It goes without saying that he failed at that job miserably, over the course of 2 weeks I attempted to keep in contact with Henry(which was mission impossible) and always made sure to give him all the right info and ask all the questions to make sure I had all the bases covered beforehand so there would be no surprises. I tried on numerous occasions to get a test drive, but the car was always "in the shop" till one day I went straight to the shop where they had no idea I was coming(even though I called 2hrs in advance) so they had to dig it out of the snow and jump start the battery. My girlfriend loved the car after her test drive and that's when I called Henry to lock in the deal. I showed up the next day with the agreed upon down payment in hand and ready to get everything signed & sealed. After waiting for 5 hours and putting insurance on the car, we were taken to this back room where their "special finance manager" broke the news to us. After weeks of talking and questioning, Henry guaranteed us a set price per month and it would not go up at all. Well, the finance manager seemed to tell us otherwise, the monthly car note DOUBLED what we were promised(based on some pre approved loan with a sky high interest rate)and we were left with the choice to either take the hefty payment or to be stuck in our current car. After pleading with the finance manager and even having the sales manager come in and remind us what Henry did wrong, they offer some other high mileage run down cars in place of the car we initially wanted(while still paying almost twice as much as agreed). As we were at the point of just utter disappointment and disgust, Henry comes in with a smug smile on his face asking "what happened?" And in all my frustration I could only just walk out... The entire experience has turned me off to the entire car buying experience and I hope that somebody gets good enough legal grounds to sue them into bankruptcy because their business practices are deplorable. As I look through all the reviews of this place, Norman is always quick to respond but yet does nothing to justify the wrong that was done. Take your money and TRY ANY OTHER DEALER!!! read more

Please be aware of fraud. These guys will promise you one thing but do another. Jamal will lie through his teeth to sell you a car I bought a car from him that he promised was in perfect condition that they would fix everything and I arrived to find dents and scratches all over, so he promised to pick car up and drop off for me cause I said I can't make the 2hr drive back and forth with someone following me. I was walking away but instead he put in writing on October 31st that they would provide transportation and fix the dents and paint. Five minutes after I leave car is shaking so I turn around and call him he says don't worry we will fix service will call you. Next morning service calls and says bring to bmw cause bmw has to fix so I bring to bmw who tells me transfer case and transmission are blown and it needs brakes has 4 bent rims and two bad wheel bearings. Now Jamal refuses to get on phone constantly texting back he will call or he doesn't know or sorry I was held up read more

Worst business I've ever seen. Places like this are why people hate used car dealerships. I was promised multiple things that were supposedly ordered and then completely ignored. No phone calls returned no updates or anything. I now have to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs because of this awful service. Darryl was my salesman. After taking the long drive to their location, we had to drive for another ten minutes for me to see the car I was interested in at their remote lot. When we came back to the dealership, the appraiser looked at my car and everything was just a little fishy, up until they asked to see my driver's license to scan it into their system. As they were doing so, the appraiser joked that their computer would bring up any violations associated with my license and criminal history, and kept asking me "How many girls have you raped? 1? 2? 3?" I understand you were joking, though with extreme lack of taste, overweight Iranian dude. You're trying to sell me something though, and accusing me of rape? Why would I ever hand my money or property over to a company that hired a scumbag like this? read more

If you are in the market for a used car, this is NOT the place to go. First off they claim to sell certified pre-owned vehicle. However there certifications are not coming from the manufacturer hence irrelevant. They advertise great deals to attract customers and forces you to pay a deposit before showing any financing contract. Once your deposit is in there pocket, they offer ridiculous financing program, coming from shady banks, with undisclosed fixed cost and rates of 15% or more. They will then try to make you sign papers, reassuring you that the rates will go down when trying with another bank. Make sure to NOT sign those papers as the rates will not go down and you will end up with an overvalued contract that you cannot terminate. They will then charge a 5% "transaction fee" (which I have never heard of before), once you ask to get you deposit back. These people are leeches and are in the SCAM business trying to suck out any bit of money out of you using near fraudulent activities. If you are to buy a used car, you are better off going directly to a manufacturer dealership. You will receive a much more pleasant customer service that is first and foremost TRANSPARENT. This might sound as a bad review but it isn't , Bear with me, it was an odyssey. Called dealer for car availability, I live 3 hrs away. Morgan, a young kid salesman promised me that the car was going to be ready. Got there on a Friday, two hours before they closed- after3 hours drive, the car was recently brought from the lot where they have ove 450 cars. It was not detailed, dirty, sand in some areas and full of bird muck and tree blot everywhere. Morgan promised me that was going to be detailed. Went to the office and two hours later it was time to pick the car. They were just washing it, not detailed at all. Got the car around 7 pm, just before they closed. As soon I left the Great Neck area, a message show asking to add two quarts of oil- that was not a good feeling. Stopped in a near by gas station, added the oil. Just before getting home- 3 hours later, it asked me to add two more quarts of oil. My mind was spinning- what I put my self in with this purchase?.. decided to leave the car outside in case of oil leak. Next morning there was a little oil spot but nothing major. Monday came and went to work. When driving home, heard something like a stone hitting the car under the car. Next, a message popped up, DriveTrain malfunction, drive moderate and call for service. I was scared, but very closed to home. So drove very slow and parked the car like ready to be towed. Next morning a river of oil in my driveway. Darn, I really liked this BMW X7 50i, I wasn't going to quit that easy. Called the general manager Norman, explained what has transpired, he agreed to take the car and see what was the issue. End of the story was happy. Whoever changed the oil, tighten the bolt so hard that cracked the gasket, reason why the oil bolt felt (noise I heard), and the car oil leaked out. After 6 additional hours of driving back and forth from Central Connecticut to Great Neck NY, finally got the car back. So far so good, 1.5 months using it. Still trying to detail it the tree blot and dirt but darn I like the color, interior and performance of this Car. Recommendation to the owner, hire additional staff to manage your inventory and have them clean and detail for your clients. Make sure your sales force is adequately trained by attending workshops etc. Lastly, make sure your maintenance mechanics Are well trained to avoid incidents like mine. I don't think that despite my experience, the delegar should get less than 3 stars. read more

Not a very good experience. The advertised price of the car, was not the price of the actual price of the car. After arriving at the Car Masters (the actual name of the company is Masterz Automotive International, Inc.), I was told that the car had been "certified" (although I received no proof of that nor was I even told what that certification entailed or who performed the "certification"). I was advised that the cost of this "certification" was $2,600.00, which would be added to the cost of the car, meaning that the cost of the car was now $2,600.00 over the advertised price. After refusing to pay this additional cost and threatening to leave, this fee was finally removed, although they added a few other charges, all of which were not disclosed in any way in their ad for the vehicle. I did ultimately purchase the vehicle (2017 Maserti Levante). A few days after purchasing the car, I noticed that a some oil was leaking from the engine. I called the " Warranty Claims Dealership Service Department" phone number, which was provided to me on the paperwork which I received when when I purchased the vehicle. When I called the phone number provided, someone answered after many rings, and gave me another phone number which I was instructed to call for "warranty claims". When I called that phone number no one answered and I left a telephone message, which was never returned. I also called my "Salesman", Alejandro Sanchez, in this regard. Mr. Sanchez did not take my call nor did he ever return my voice message. I ended up taking the vehicle to Ferari and Maserti of Long Island (located in Plainview) to have the oil leak checked. The oil leak was nothing more than an overflow of oil which had been spilled onto the oil pan, presumably when Car Masters (or whatever there name is) changed the oil. Ferari and Maserati of Long Island had a terrific, clean and well managed service department and got me in and out within an hour. They cleaned the oil pan and, remarkably, did not charge me for the service. I really like the car which I purchased and feel like the purchase price which I negotiated was fair and reasonable. However, I am just really disappointed and surprised and the sharp sales tactics and the lack of any response from the salesman and "warranty department", once the car was driven away. I am very lucky that the problem was minor, but I would not buy another vehicle from this company. read more

Make sure the sales person not only verbally commits but also writes down and signs a "final price" agreement before you sit down with the finance person. I don't like the fact that will not tell you right away how much you would be paying for your car, they save it to the very last moment and them surprise. In addition, my dad's car had only one key, we asked if we could get the second one. The dealership was supposed to contact a former owner and get that key for us. It's been a month and no response from them. I called the sales manager, left her several messages and she never called me back, it is very rude and unprofessional behavior. Bought my 2015 Mercedes in 11/2018. Salesman named David immediately bait and switched me. Told me the car had been sold the previous day although the dealership is closed on Saturday. I figured I would look at different models although I knew I was with a baby faced gangster. I decided to by a silver Mercedes with 43,000 miles clean one owner. I noticed all theses additional fees COD dealer prep, amounting to over 1400 dollars. He would not budge on the fees. I am a 62 year old black man and the first thing he did when we went on the test drive was turn up the radio! then he was calling me Bro I stopped him from doing that and told him to turn down the radio so I could here the car. I decide to by the car because I liked it and had been searching for a while. I told him I was not interested in dealership financing or and extended warranty but he would not stop badgering me. I told him I had my own financing and a large cash down payment and he seemed very disappointed. I went to pick up my car within the week and he had me pose next to the car for a photo calendar which to this day I have not gotten. What I have gotten are daily calls from companies wanting to know if I want extended . I called David to ask him about my calendar and why I keep getting so many calls from theses extended warranty companies and he did not return my calls. I even went to the dealer to ask about the same items . He just looked in my face and lied . If you want honesty forget about these guys. read more

This is an honest review from a verified buyer. I purchased a 2016 Me/Benz GLE-350 with 9207 mi. on 3-11-18 and took possession on 3-12-18. Salesperson was Mohammed. My experience with Mohammad was fantastic. I give him 10 out of 5 stars. Like every other business, he has bosses he has to answer to and get approvals from. He worked hard to get me to my price point where I felt comfortable. He pulled it off and I purchased from them. Buying a vehicle is hard work so come prepared, dedicated and educated. Their prices are very competitive if not the lowest on L.I. Be prepared to see extra fees that may raise your eyebrows but they are not any different from other third party dealers unless you go to the "big guys" like Rallye or Helms. However, the big guys mark up with a higher sell price to compensate for overhead. European Masters has a great selection of cars at different price points so your selection is better than anywhere else in the area. If you decide to go there, I highly recommend you ask for my sales person. He is honest, professional, responds to texts and will go out of his way to assist you in a non pushy manner. He gave me a decent price for my trade in and took over the paperwork hassle of paying off my pay off loan amount on my trade in. Bottom line: I'm happy enough with my purchase and experience with Mohammad that I will be going back within the month to negotiate a daily driver for my wife (once my trade in payoff is paid of course :-) The negative comments on this post certainly did not reflect my experience. Thanks Mohammad and see you soon Sir! read more

Horrible service. Horrible place. Came here after inquiring about a car they had listed on multiple websites. After inquiring online, kept receiving phone calls. Finally, when I had time to go in person, I called to inform them that I was coming. Since they are about 1.5 hours away from me, I told them exactly which car I was looking at, and they said they'd have it ready to test drive before I got there. Once I got there, the confused salesman left to "get the keys" and returned about 15 minutes later to tell me "since the listing is new, the car is in service. It'll be ready by tomorrow". All while trying to sell me on much higher priced vehicles. Meanwhile, the car has been listing on various websites for about 4 months. The salesperson gave me his person number, and told me he'd call me the next day. No one called me back. After 3 days, I decided to call in to get an answer. Once again, I was told I would get a call back, and still, not call. Very upset from this entire experience. Not sure why they decided it was appropriate to waste hours of my time. I bought my car to this dealer to be sold I was in the dealer ship on 4/4/2017 for 3 hours they test drove the car and inspected it. We agreed upon a price for the car and they ordered the pay off for my loan from Santander (I bought the car from them a year ago FYI). We sign a contract and I was told my loan will be paid off and to call them and send them the contract and leave my keys. I get an Uber to the airport because I do not live in NYC anymore. I try to send people to European Masters to help even though I found out from my attorney I didn't have to. I get a call today 4/9/2017 from Norman after I said in a polite way that it was his responsibility I was there for 3 hours he tells me that he is placing the car on the street and it is no longer his issue and I'm on my own. This is not a place you want to go when I bought the car they did not take enough money for the taxes in GA and they had me wait over 2 months before they registered the car in Maine my i transit tags where for 21 days so for 5 weeks I had expired tags and got a ticket for it they never paid. please understand masters is out for masters and they are in the business of attempting to make every possible penny they can at the customers expense. it's all smoke and mirrors they buy they put the nice shiny cars in the showroom and advertise you can afford it ..for starters the deal advertised should be illegal .. you put 2990 down on a car already 3 to 4 yrs old make 60 months of payments and then are left with a balloon payment for 3 times what the car is worth at the end of the term ..they'll tell you you can easily jus refinance the baloon payment ... lmfao good luck go try ..your car is now a min of nine years old and worth 10 grand if that and your needing to secure a loan to cover a payoff of 30 grand ...thats the facts ..not sugar coated as they try and make it. next they play games with the intrest rates ..you nit getting the best rate your credit can afford your getting the rate from the bank thats offerring them the best deal ...think you can get around that and use your own credit union ... they raise the published price 1 thousand dollars more if you don't use thier bank and if you don't move fast they will sell the car under your nose. i went and began negations on one vehicle that was sold after i informed them that i was using my credit union which gave me 2.9 as opposed to thier 4.9 rate provided.. but i still wanted as car so i went back and looked at another .. the online list price was 34,600.. when i originally asked i was told it was 35,900... when i asked why was the price different i was told "well thats the price if you use your credit union" ...grimey !!! next i was told that if i purchased a warrenty for 3300 they could miraclously give me a rate of 3.9 from the bank as opossed to 4.9 .. ok wait ..do the math ..originally the car was 34,600, and according to them i only qualified for 4.9 interest rate ...but if i now add the warrenty taking the car up to ..37,800 i now qualify for a lower interest rate..thats because they make thir money off of 1. the kick back from the bank they're using ...2. the BS warranties ..most of thier cars are high end BMW and BENZ they all have jus come off a 4year 50k warrenty ... they're not breaking down and masters service people are not mercedes and bmw tech's !!! 3. the price of the car . NORMAN will no doubt respond and attempt to cover ..nice guy ..but he's very much part of scam .so remeber ...1. They'll change the price of thier cars from the price advertised ...2. They will play with your interest rate 3 They wanna sell you a BS WARRENTY dont fall for thier tricks !! One more thing ..EUROPEAN MASTERS ,AUTO EXPO ,AND AUTO GALLERY ARE ALL JEWISH OWNED ..HENCE OFF ON SATURDAYS ..I DONT KNOW THAT THE ACTUAL OWNERS ARE AWARE OF THIER PRACTICES ..HOWEVER ..IT IS MY OPINION THE 2990 down BALLOON PAYMENT DEAL ..DIRECTLY PREYS ON THE URBAN CULTURE ..ID LOVE TO KNOW STATISTACALLY THE DEMOGRAPHICS OF THE PEOPLE GIVEN THESE LOANS AND THE OUTCOMES . read more

EUROPEAN MASTER NY... worst, worst car dealership ever. Very very unprofessional and a rip off. I bought a Mercedes Benz SUV which I did everything online and on the phone . This includes running my credit and paying to put the car on hold which they told me I had to do inorder for them to hold it because I live miles away and could not be there in person. I went to pick up the car on the day they told me to come get it when I reach the dealership there was no car I ask where is the car, they gave me all different excuses which made no sense. First they said the car went out to be check at Mercedes Benz dealership, then they try to sell me different cars which was not even close to what I wanted, then they said they don't know what happen to the car this was all in one day after driving for 5 hours to get there. How is it that a car dealership can do this to someone run my credit which drop my credit, took my money, had me sign papers electronically, hours on the phone and waste hours driving to the dealership with assurance from them that my car was there and ready for me to pick up . After doing all this to me they could care less they said they don't have the car that I payed for. I asked where is the car and they couldn't tell me where it was or what had happen to it, no one seems to know, all they were trying to do was to sell me a different cars which I didn't want. The only star is because Christine, my sales rep, was honest and professional, she personally deserves only compliments. The rest is a nightmare. I came to Masters for a specific car, needless to say it wasn't there. I was ok with that since I was shopping for particular model, so I was shown another car which just came and was yet to be prepped. I liked the car and we agreed I'd come back with my mechanic. When I did, they told me the car was having bad issues and isn't available. So they offered another car, more expensive one. My mechanic looked at it and found several issues which they agreed to fix. The owner was there and was joking about buying off my mechanic to tell me that the car is fine. Or half-joking. Week later I'm back with the mechanic after they told me the car is fixed. And we see that all issues are still there. No sign of anyone doing anything about them. Then the owner comes and starts yelling at my mechanic: get out of my car! you don't know anything about cars! What a jerk! Bottom line: avoid this place like a plague. They sell junk cars without taking any care of them. You might get lucky and get an ok car. Or get unlucky and get check engine light after first 60 miles (they erase computer's memory so it will take about that for lights to appear). They don't care about you getting good car, they don't add any value, just ripping you off. You'll do much better in other places (I bought my car the same day at AutoExpo just few blocks from them). read more

Do not go to this dealer, also known as Masters Auto Mall. They are very shady and doctored our paperwork to increase the financed about $5000 over the amount we agreed upon. When we called to try to resolve, they had put us on hold until we hung up in frustration numerous times, then left before speaking to us. We tried to reach them over the course of several days and the key person, David (Dolce?) did not call back and refused to speak to us. They do a lot of internet sales to people who live far away (like us) who are unlikely to make the trek back to the shop, and now i know why. Stay away unless you want to get scammed. read more
