My only regret is that it took me so long to get around to writing this review. In February of last year, I purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer. By March, I realized the air conditioner was not working. I immediately returned the vehicle to the original dealership, where I was told--shockingly--that the car had been in a major front-end collision. From that point on, they dodged every question and avoided all accountability, from the service department management all the way up to the owner of the dealership. Frustrated, confused, and honestly nervous to be driving a "brand new" car with my family, I sought out help from Biener Ford in Great Neck--and I am so glad I did. Without hesitation or judgment, I was welcomed into their service department. My vehicle was inspected immediately by their head mechanics, who ultimately determined the actual repair needed. Most importantly, they confirmed that my car had not been in any major front-end collision and that it was completely safe to drive. From start to finish, every single person I dealt with at Biener Ford was an absolute pleasure. They coordinated picking up my vehicle from my job, ordered parts promptly, and kept me informed every step of the way. The service manager, Peter, is truly the best there is--knowledgeable, patient, and exceptionally kind to both customers and his team. The mechanics at Biener are equally top-notch, and I wouldn't trust my truck--or any of my vehicles--with anyone else. So sorry I got my car here. The car is great but this place sucks. After getting my new Mustang, I waited for the registration. It never came. Every time I called I was treated like a piece of garbage. Everyone I talked to would say he'd call me right back. No one ever called. A woman said she would overnight it to me. Nothing ever came. I'm looking to purchase a 2024 Ford mustang Darkhorse. Beiner Ford in Great Neck, NY has 1 in stock. I call and speak with salesman, Eric who informs me I must schedule a time slot lol to come and see the car, visually ONLY. I can come and look at vehicle, but can't test drive it. I have never heard of anyone spending $70k on a mustang without test driving it?!?!?! Lol I have test driven Shelby GT500s in the past, Mach Ones, and most recently F150 Raptor R. I have bought dozens of cars over the years, new and used, from dealers and private sellers across 4 states. I have to say this was by far my worst experience. We came to an agreement on price and when I picked it up the paperwork didn't break out the taxes. Unfortunately for me I signed and didn't realize the problem. I started by talking to the salesman who referred me to the manager (M.Ali) who said I'm SOL, so I called the General Manager of Used Cars. He seemed to actually care until he sent me back to Ali and said Ali would "make it right". Ali said he would talk with the salesman and between them straighten it out . Never called me back. Next call came from Leo Director of used cars. Leo left a message at my office to call him. Over the next 3 or 4 days I called him 6 times and left messages with no return call. They ended up costing me $1000.00. I should have read all the bad reviews ahead of time. They are the poster dealer for what you think of when you think typical shady, screw the buyer dealer. Steer clear, once they have your money you become useless to them. I'm sure the will respond with how sorry they are and how they want me to call so that they can make it right. My review is based off of making an appointment for service. Sadly I never got to experience their horrible ways in person as so many others have complained about on here. I made a reservation 6 days in advance for an oil change. Received 2 confirmations saying I was all set for the appointment. The dealership just called saying they were over booked and had to reschedule. I am a new customer to the dealership as a relative lives close by. For the next few weeks I am tied up with work so I am not able to reschedule as they said. I nicely told the woman on the phone but I had a confirmation and everything and there were plenty of spots open when I signed up. She basically said sorry and could care less. Is this a way to treat a new customer? I am glad this happened right away and not after I got to know and trust this place. Had a excellent buying experience with Frank Garcia. They had the vehicle I wanted, only 1 in that color combination with the options really wanted within 100 miles of my home town. Frank was always responsive to inquires extremely timely. Once arrived for pickup the processing by the rest of the team was prompt! No BS when going into Finance with Benny! Deceptive and non-responsive. I brought my car for simple service (oil change and tire rotation) while I waited. Thhis was pursuanbt to a Ford maintenance plan. Biener advertises quick service while you wait. After about 2 1/4 hours I inquired about the status of my car. I was told they had not even started the service. When I complained about that to the service manager I was told to take my car and have it serviced elsewhere. Biener refused to honor the service plan and service my car. Brought my leased Ford explorer in because I was getting 4WD system fault messages. Scheduled through the FordPass app, brought the car in at 8am, opted in for an oil change, tire rotation, and filter replacement. Prices were reasonable enough. I was told the car would be ready same day or the next day and it ended up ready by 2pm same day. The fix was quick, easy, and definitely easy on the pocket. This certainly may not apply to all maintenance needs, but the entire experience was seamless, staff was helpful and friendly, and I will certainly return for service in the future. read more

DO NOT ever purchase a car from Biener Ford, especially a used vehicle. They will tell you anything so you purchase the car and it will all end up being a lie. I came from over 5 hours away to purchase a vehicle and spoke with my sales person and the manager multiple times before arriving. Over the phone, they told me that the car was certified, that it would have a full inspection and that things like tires and brakes were guaranteed to have 60% life left on them. Within their exorbitant list of fees is a $1200 safety inspection fee. Despite all of this, they sold me a car with front tires so bald that when i took it to the shop to be replaced, they said if we had hit one pot hole the tires would've blown out and we could've been in a severe accident. In addition to this, we later found out the back tires were so low they would not pass inspection. The front wheels were also bent and the air conditioner in the car did not work. I spent close to 20 hours on the phone with upper management of Biener ford requesting a refund for these issues given i paid so much money for their "thorough safety inspection". After two weeks and many many phone calls, they only agreed to a partial refund. This dealership is a disgrace. They are doing FRAUDULENT business. They have been reported to Ford Motors, the DMV and the BBB. read more

The transition from Tower Ford to Biener Ford was horrific, to say the least. I brought my vehicle in to service a 'check engine' light. They held my vehicle for over a month and recommended nearly $7,000 in repairs. I made the payments, reluctantly, but the issue was never addressed. Their service advisor, Chris Urena, was rude and dismissive. He actually refused to service my vehicle. It's also worth noting that employees of Biener Ford post five star reviews of their own business. This is a major conflict of interest. Biener Ford's Service Manager, Louis Del Balzo, promised me that this issue would not recur; he lied. I wasn't even issued any apology. The General Manager, Richard Pizzo, went so far as to ignore my phone calls. He's also never available in person. Filing complaints through Ford's Customer Care Center is useless. They'll tell you the dealership is privately owned and they can't force the General Manager to listen to your complaint. How convenient for him. No accountability. You'd think $7,000 would warrant a few minutes of his time. Until this issue is addressed, I will continue to warn others about my experience. read more

I made an appointment to see a car and showed up a few minutes early. Walking to the door, a salesman was kind enough to open the door for me. That was the last pleasant experience I had at Biener Ford. I went to what looked like a waiting area. I saw someone I believed was a salesman and as I approached, he began thoroughly inspecting some chairs. I then walked to what looked like a welcome desk, though there was no one there to welcome me. I stood there as several workers walked around, some came to the desk to grab keys or binders, others passed in front of me to go on a smoke break. Anyone whose direction I looked in, looked away, like people went out of their way to not make eye contact with me. I left after 40 minutes with not one employee acknowledging me. Be very wary of making a reservation to have your Ford serviced here. This is the 3rd time we are told they can't give us the car back until the following day. This notification always is communicated late in the afternoon even though the car was left there before 9AM or even 7AM. This time the reason given was that they had a carryover from the previous day so they did not even have a chance to look over the car problem. The previous time it was because they could not get a part until the following day. But that was hours after they told me what parts were needed and their cost. There is apparently no coordination between inventory and the service order dept. The first time, the car was also held over because they did not have the necessary part. All 3 instances happened within a period of 6 months in 2021. So I would not recommend having a car serviced here if you need it back the same day. None of the repairs were major. read more

I went in with pre-approved financing and they convinced me to fill out another "application" since this was standard practice. Dumb me. I went to check Audi Q7. It was good price. so, I really wanted to buy the car. Unfortunately, They said their finance manager is off. They cannot do the paper work. It was Sunday. So, I told sales rep that I will come back next day. and I came back on Monday. Deal was same. Somehow, I was told by Sales rep, I cannot make cash or credit card or check downpayment more than $9,999.99 because They have to report to IRS. REALLY? The truth is when you make CASH DOWNPAYMENT more than $9999.99. You have to fill out the form from IRS. Why do they make up rules like that. Anyway, I let it go cause I really wanted to finish the deal and sign. I waited about an hour. The sales rep and and manager were discussing in the room. and They called me. and I went in the room. Finance manager started explaining fast about the deal and interest and contract. And I figured It was totally different monthly payment given by him. And I asked him why the price $2500 more. and He said there are some fees that I must pay. It was prep fee around $500 plus $2000 Pre Delivery Inspection fee. I was like what??? I told him that He cannot charge the fee if I refuse to pay the fee. But He didn't want to waive it. So, I walked out the room, and He followed me telling me he can lower $1000 for fees. HAHA. What a deal. I just walked away. It was just total wasting time which they don't really care. I think their business tactic is putting the best price on cars.com once customers about to sign they add up another 10% they are supposed to charge. SO If don't want to get ripped off or waste your time. Don't even try. I bought a few cars in my life, I never seen any fees like that. and If there was, It was extended warranty. and even they refunded it after I purchased. As I pulled up, everyone in the service department was masked, all the surfaces were clean, and people adhered to the distance guidelines inside. They took my car right away (I was early for my appointment). Staff was friendly and didn't try to up-sell me on additional, unnecessary services. Had a check engine light on during this COVID-19 Armageddon and thought to check with Biener Ford service on the off chance that they would even answer the phone. Not only did Louis Del Balzo answer. He and his team identified the issue as related to the catalytic converters and then looked into whether it would be covered by Ford's guarantee. This is a six year old car mind you! I would have never ever thought a six year old car part would still be guaranteed. Would certainly not expect service folks to go out of their way to look into it. Epitome of great honest service. Unprofessional and scam artist would be a few words to use to describe beiner ford. I brought my car in with a transmission issue, they informed me it would be 1-2 weeks to check on the car. I waited and received $7,000 in issues that needed to be fixed. one of witch was almost $4,000 to replace the clutch witch is $2,000 more then any other shop. The one item under warranty was a TCM for the transmission. I asked to for that to be fixed and nothing else. This was proceeded by no response for two weeks after texting and calling many times. I called to speak to anyone and the assistante would inform me no one was working at the moment or that she would speak to them and leave a note to get back to me. I finally spoke to a different service rep and he informed me that they would install the TCM. a week later I get a text just stating they wont install the TCM since the clutch is not working so it cant be calibrated. I've had enough since they could have said that weeks ago. my only option is to pay 4k to fix my insured option. I said im taking my car to a transmission shop to double check there insufficient work. they informed me driving the car off the lot would not be advisable and i would be responsible for any issues. they repeated this in text and person. once I started the car my check engine light was gone and the car ran with no issues, Some how only the right side of my speakers work now which was not an issue when i brought it in but im not letting them touch my car again to figure that one out since i would like it fixed sometime this year. I brought it to a transmission shop, they proceeded to drive and inspect the vehicle and found 0 issues with the TCM, Clutch or any part of the car. since then I have been driving it with zero issues. Since clutches cant fix themselves I am left to assume beiner reset my error code and realized it was fixed and was trying to find any way to squeeze money out of me. There lack of response over text/Phone or any way of communication is so sub par i'm not sure how they run a business even with over a month to look at my car and reply to my many calls/texts. The fact that they gave zero effort to fixing my car and i paid them $190 to do an incomplete check since my horn needs to be replaced and they never even quoted me on that. The only time they would reply is to quote me obscene prices and lie about what's wrong with my vehicle to get out of fixing a warranty issue that ford messed up. They should be ashamed of this, because i cant believe the amount of people who might trust them just to get robbed blindly. Please be careful if you choose this dealer. so disappointed at Biener Ford. I came in yesterday to get both of my headlights replaced. I was told only one was in stock and the other would be ordered for next day install. I have all of my information and schedule an appointment. When I arrived the following day, I was told that I wasn't in the system. I gave all of my information again. Chris, the assistant manager then proceed to tell me that they are going to run a full diagnostic on my car to determine the problem to which I said why run diagnostics when I just need new headlights. His response of this is hiw we do I didn't work for me so I spoke Luke, the manager. Luke at least said they can do the light bulbs without a full diagnostic but then when Chris called the parts department, we found out the parts weren't ordered!!! Chris also told me to go to Ace Hardware store. Such a poor way to treat a loyal Ford customer. Moral of the story is don't bother with Biener Ford, just go straight to a parts department store and work it out yourself. read more
