5/7/2026 Sent an email on 5/ 4 2026 to Auto Expo regarding my brakes. The brakes were suppose to be repaired twice on this vehicle. However when I took this vehicle to a certified Porsche dealer..they noted the rotors were rusted amd never replaced. Please note this would be the third issue with the brakes beinf repaire. Today still no response from the dealership or service department. When I went over to the dealership to speak to Steven B ..General manager. He was rude, disrespectful and stated he didn't have to soeak to me at all. These guys are con artists on every level. Worst dealership experience ever we've been loyal to silver star motors in queens for many years and wanted to branch out. when i tell you this was the worst costumer experience i am being very kind. The man that helped us was rude and dismissive he wanted to buy our car for 14k which we were not opposed to. Do not waste your time. We saw a vehicle posted on Car Guru and made an appt to see it at Auto Expo. They kept us waiting 1 hr. We inspected vehicle and when we went to discuss a deal, they pull out their own 'paperwork' which states on the top that all prices are 20% higher than listed online. They do not mention this on their site or when you make an appt. We have never heard of such a thing. They would not honor the online price and insisted that trying to charge 20% higher than the listed Car Guru price was a deal. Disgusting. read more

I've been in the auto industry for 30+ years and visited this CT dealership for a 2019 Mercedes CLS53 listed online at $31,895. The car had multiple undisclosed issues: extensive repainting, misaligned panels, subpar bodywork (you could even see "TURBO" adhesive under fresh paint), and was filthy despite my scheduled appointment. Worse, once I arrived, the price jumped to over $41,000 before taxes/fees. They insisted on adding $6,000+ in "down payment" charges even though I was paying cash--clearly a way to replace profit they'd normally get from financing markups. I wish there was a way to not give a star at all. First they call and say they don't discuss numbers or anything over the phone even after I used their capital one finance application and I should come in. They ask what time you'll be here so they can make sure to have the car ready. I say tomorrow 1pm. Once I get there I wait over an hour just to see the car. Then the guy Jon refused to talk numbers before I test drove. Trying to make me fall in love with the car before they hit me with crazy numbers. Car price went up 7k with a bunch of optional added nonsense. Which then I wasn't able to finance. Wasted all afternoon and now almost 6 weeks later I'm still waiting to receive my $500 refund back. These guys are completely unprofessional and unethical. I had someone text me saying " are you sure your not playing games with us" because I told them I hadn't got the check they claimed they sent. I told him to check the tracking I asked to that he never gave or with accounting to see if anything was cashed. Why would you even speak to me that way. Sleazy dealership with people just the same. Had a great convo with Andre Saturday evening. I'm showing interest in two of the cars on their website. Me and Mr. Andre made a plan for me to come in to see the car on Sunday; and get a book of sales. Sunday morning I get a text from Mr. Andre "Bruce our address is 46 Northern Blvd, Great Neck, NY 11021... Let me know what time we can expect you sir?". I tell him what time. He texts me later to ask my ETA.. I tell him 19 minutes. I get there and no one has the notes on the convo from the day before. One of the cars (GLE) isn't there. I was told the other one is "15 minutes away on another lot". So I waited; even though I thought is was strange to ask my ETA, like you had something in order waiting for me. I gave the same associate(Mike I believe) 3x as much time he said it would be. After 50 minutes I got up and left. 15 minutes turned into 50 and still no car. Not even a "hey would you like some water?" Or "hey sorry the wait will be make it worth your while when it comes to pricing. ANYTHING to show you want me business and your company messed up. Bait and switch tactics. Test drove a van after driving a good distance to get there. Made an offer only to be told, "you need to understand how dealers in this area price vehicles." Salesman proceeded to show me the fine print on their website that says the internet price includes a $3,000 trade or cash. So basically the price of the vehicle is more than what's advertised. Other dealers in the area don't use this shady practice. Then after still looking to negotiate based off the new price, they refused to budge an inch on the price. They have DECEPTIVE sales tactics, they're liars, unresponsive, unprofessional. It was a terrible mistake to purchase a car here. I was told i HAD to purchase their warranty package at $2500 and the LoJack service that was installed on the car for $1000. Later, upon reviewing documents they provided, both of these services should have been optional but were sold as mandatory. Additionally, the finance guy asked for $500 in CASH to "buy down" the interest rate. There's no way any bank wants cash to buy down a rate, that's not how it works. (My assumption is that the guy was going to pocket the cash). They also ran my credit about 6 times (twice with the same bank) which severely impacted my credit score. Then, when trying to access the LoJack service they forced me to buy, I could not get in contact with anyone to assist. I called and emailed to no avail. They advertise one price online, but when you arrive, they add thousands of dollars for unnecessary aftermarket warranties and LoJack. These guys are the classic bait and switch. I discussed buying the car with them over the phone, set up a time to come and visit, discuss the vehicle and set an appointment with someone to do the used-car inspection. Once we got there, they said that taking the car for an inspection was not something that they allowed... Even though every other car dealer does. When we got to discussing the price, I simply said that I would take the price listed on the Internet and not negotiate as I thought it was a good value and we had already spoken to Price on the phone. The manager came out to explain that that was only a financing price, and that you would have to pay the large interest rate demanded by their financing program if you wanted that price. I said I'd pay in cash and take that price and he said that was not possible. Showed me the car. We sat down to discuss, car goes up in price by $7000 with added non sense. Drove 1 hour in rain and traffic to get to them. Never stepping my foot in a privately owned dealership again. You will end up paying same if not more compared reputable actual company showroom for a certefied preowned but at least you will have a peace of mind. Also they messaged me when am I coming as car was waiting for me in the lot and how much they had to struggle to get it from a different lot which is half hour away. I get there and there was no car they made me wait 45 mins. While they got the car. I DO know that if you inquire once about anything you will receive non-stop spam. Emails, texts, calls and any other form they can get their hands on. After receiving 10+ spam messages a day for 2 months, they finally dropped to 4 a week after answering one of the spam calls and freaking out on the woman who made the call on their behalf. DONT SHOP HERE! They're currently doing bait and switch on all their cars. I went in expecting to spend a certain amount only to be told that they added $3500 for certification fees! I asked what that was and they told me it's an extra warranty for the power train. The car I was buying only had 15k miles and had the manufacturers warranty still. So I asked why would I need 2 power train warranties?! They couldn't answer of course. So after driving a hour and a half to get there and then waiting 45min for them to find the car I was forced to walk out because they wanted me to pay 29k for a car that had a label of 23k. I scheduled an appointment to test drive a car with a woman named Melissa Yturbides. I live in Manhattan, so I rented a car to drive out to Great Neck. I messaged her when I left to let her know I'd be about an hour and a half. She responded with "Yes. No problem." I arrived earlier than expected and Melissa was gone. A short older man told me she wasn't there and that I had to leave. This was at 4:30. The website says they are open until 8:00pm. So I emailed Melissa and asked her what was going on. No response. I posted pictures of the car add, my car loan and the contract. (They dont seem to post on Google. Only Yelp. I think someone at AutoExpo is deleting or flagging. If so, go look at Yelp). So i purchased a Mercedes CLA 250 2017 on the day that the government said all non essentials business must close. So im there for hours. I have two very young little boys. After a while, i just want to get it over with and this is where i made my greatest mistake. They are nice people (which means absolutely nothing in this business). So i just went by their word. Like a idiot, i did not read anything. I just signed. I knew exactly the car i wanted before i went there. I read the reviews on Yelp which are all horrible but still decided to go. The car i got was $17,095 at $232 a month. When i went to go sign for it, the only thing i was asked about was if i wanted gap insurance. I said no. Then she tells me that my monthly payment is $408 a month. I dont care because i am paying the car off completely in a few months. But this is a trick. I believe that most people only care about what they can afford a month. So without asking me, they sign me up for a 72 month loan. Thats why its only $408. When she presented the contract, it was folded in a way that only the signature spot could be seen. Stupid me, i just sign. Fast forward a week later and i receive the loan papers. $25,103. Im blown away. So now i begin to ask for the contract. All of a sudden, everyone who was easy to get a hold of, is no longer responding, except for the messenger on google maps. I finally drive over and ask for my contract. They say they mailed it out. About 2 hours later, i receive a email and now i really dont understand: Car Price: $17,095 Amount Financed: $25,103 Total Sale Price: $29,474 And on the contract there are NO details as to why such a price increase. NONE! At $17k, I'm thinking with tax and fees, maybe $20k. I could of just bought a new car. Car dealers have always been known for this. Im writing this review to save YOU pain. My boyfriend got a car from there. They passed a NYS inspection but the car needed brakes and an oil change when he picked it up. They forged a NYS inspection and REFUSED to fix his front pads. They only replaced the back pads. And they did not perform the oil change.
