I am part of a class action lawsuit against D R Horton home builder here in Marana, AZ. Select…read moreGlass was contracted to fix one of my home windows. They came out over 7 months ago to assess the issue with a window balancer. The technician removed the old balancer and said he needed to order a new one and would come back in a couple of weeks. Months went by and I never heard from them again. I contacted Select Glass and informed them. The said they weren't surprised because that technician doesn't work for them anymore. Another technician came out a month ago WITHOUT the balancer and stated he needed to order it and would be back in 1-2 weeks. Never heard from them again. I called them again today and the receptionist said the woman handling my issues was on the phone and would call back in 5-10 minutes. After an hour of waiting, I called back and receptionist stated the woman handling this was in a meeting which is why she didn't call back in 5-10 minutes. I finally get the woman in charge of this circus and she said they just got the part in last Wednesday. I asked if they were still using the Pony Express for ordering and delivering supplies. In any case, she stated they could come out in about 2 more weeks to fix the issue. So, it literally took them almost 9 months to address, and hopefully fix my window balancer. If you have 3/4 of a year to wait, then Select Glass is your number 1 choice......

I was given a 12-4 time block for them to come out and was told I would receive a call when they were on their way. 4 came and no one had called me yet, so I called the office and she took care of it immediately calling the person that was supposed to be here. I was a little disappointed that no one showed up in the time window but I am happy with how well they handled it. He ended up showing up about 15 minutes later. He came and fixed it super fast though. Seriously, it only took 5 minutes. The repair looks great and he cleaned my front windshield inside and out before he left. I bought the Yelp deal, so it was even cheaper than the original cheap quote I received. I'm happy.

I had a full meeting schedule so I told them to let me know when they were done. The technician finished and let me know the car was locked. When I came out to go home, not only was it a better windshield than I had before but they took my parking permit and oil change notification from the old one and put it on the new one. I was expecting to have to do that on my own. The tags they could not replace (clean freak), they left in my car in case I needed it. These things sound small but it was stuff I never thought of. Please find a different company to use! The $100 is NOT worth ruining your car!…read more If I could leave zero stars, I absolutely would. This company scheduled an appointment, then never showed and told us we "weren't on the schedule". Then, a shotty technician showed up a few days later, put a new windshield in, and left paint damage all around the frame of the window... little chunks of paint are gone, down to the metal. When we called to complain, they sent the same "technician" out to assess the damage. He took a few pictures and argued with my husband that "these were already there" and they were "old and rusted".... he must be blind because there is absolutely NO rust and no other marks anywhere else on my 2013 Nissan Altima (which is kept in the garage!). Now, someone else from this unprofessional company is coming back out to look at it in a couple days and argue some more. I am just disgusted that they ruined the paint and can't take ownership for the subpar work they call professional. Please, if you want your car to remain intact, use Safelight.
