Super helpful, front staff women were amazing, helpful, kind, informative and upfront. I was referred here for insurance damage to my vehicle, minimal info from the referring insurance company. They told me upfront what was going to happen and helped me figure out the best of my options. It's easy to get mad at the middle men/ladies but these folks did their jobs impeccably. I'll be back. I would like to leave zero stars if possible. Let me explain what happened. On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, my wife took our Jeep to Car Crafters on Veranda Drive, for some body damage on the rear driver's side door. The receptionist , Amanda, told her she would need a new back door and suggested filing an insurance claim the first week of November. We were going on a week long trip in mid-November and she said this would be enough time to file a claim and order parts. She also stated we could leave the Jeep at their business for more than a week. We filed a claim with our insurance on November 3, as instructed by Amanda. My wife called at 2:55 pm on Thursday, November 6, and talked to Amanda. She said to come by the following day to get an estimate. She said we could drop the Jeep off for more than a week but she couldn't guarantee the Jeep would be ready by the time we returned from our trip. On Friday, November 7, 2025, at approximately 1:45 pm, my wife and I drove to Car Crafters to drop off our vehicle. They told us they would need to do an estimate and order parts and they couldn't begin work until the following Wednesday. Joe Gabaldon, service advisor, told us we couldn't leave the vehicle there due to the storage yard being full. My wife told Joe, that Amanda, the receptionist, said we could leave the vehicle there for more than a week. I told Joe that they had cameras in front of the store and we could leave the vehicle there. He refused this and was adamant they had no room in the back lot. Amanda had told my wife we could leave the vehicle there for more than a week. The other female receptionist said the same thing. In fact, Amanda's told my wife to file the claim with our insurance at the beginning of November. When we talked to Joe today he said we should have filed a claim in October, so they could have the parts delivered by today. When my wife walked inside with Joe and confronted both receptionists, they denied everything. In fact, Amanda rudely yelled that Car Crafters is not a storage facility! Horrible customer service. Rude and dishonest staff here. This place has incompetent receptionists who willingly lie to get business through the door. I would like these deceptive practices to stop and would advise any potential customers to this business to go elsewhere. Stay away from Car Crafters! read more

Weird vibes, broken computer systems, and they can't work with USAA apparently. We have been waiting two months for them to officially communicate to USAA the car is totaled. It's a lost cause and my son is devastated not being able to move on after he was crashed into. He is a hard working student at Cleveland and goes in at 5:30 AM and doesn't leave until 6 PM some days. No resolution for him. Damaged my pickup so insurance says bring it here. I have gone to carcrafters in albuquerque and was not impressed. Let's see how they do here. It is kind of out of the way, on a side street, so unless you had business here you would never find it. Staff is amazing! That is one thing I have to say, top notch staff. 2016 Ram 2500 with damage by a Jack knifed trailer. Called USAA and Car Crafters was recommended. They did the repair in which they removed the truck bed. The work was done and the truck was returned with paint and body adequately repaired. Things were loose in the cabin, like the Jack and other items. I took the truck back and they placed everything where it should be. The truck is equipped with a rear airbag system and since I have not been towing I did not check it upon delivery. Approximately 7 months later I noted the shrader valve was missing from the rear bumper. I found it dangling from beneath the truck with the nut and washer still on the valve from when they disassembled it. I reinstalled the valve, a quick and easy task. I decided to air the system up to 30lbs as recommended having found it flat. The line on the passenger side was broken compromising the system. I returned the truck to Carcrafters requesting they repair the damage. They refused and would not stand behind their work. I called USAA and told them my problem. No adjuster would return my call so we bore the expense of $266.05. There was damage to one of the valves due to driving deflated. I am very disappointed with USAA as they have been an outstanding insurer in the past. Car Crafters should not be used under any circumstances. They were not thorough and when confronted they just flatly denied any liability due to their sloppiness. The problem was not major which leads me to wonder what other things they failed to do and what they covered up. Ethics and honesty are important. Stay away from these folks! read more

Took my vehicle to Car Crafters to repair damages after an auto accident. Based on paint and body repairs that I've received in more than 25 years, this was the WORST paint/body repair that I've experienced. The repair was so horrible that my insurance company (USAA) authorized repairs to be COMPLETED by another auto body repair facility (Quanz Auto Care). The following are results of the repairs from Car Crafters: - Noticed an area (right rear quarter panel) that over-buffed or sanded. - Right quarter panel had paint discoloration due to proper painting technique - Over-spray between right quarter panel and bumper cover - Over-spray between left quarter panel and bumper cover - Rough texture (Orange peel paint effect) on bumper cover - Paint exterior was subject to overspray because of failure to properly cover/protect the vehicle from overspray during the painting detail. - Left tail lamp assembly and Trunk Release Button was disconnected during repairs and never re-connected. - Left tail light assembly does not work. - Rear trunk release button does not work. - Trunk is mis-aligned from side to side. - Trunk's vertical alignment is off. Trunk will leak. - Finger print in the left quarter panel during painting process. - Vehicle letters improperly replaced on vehicle. My car's front bumper and fender had what looked like severe scratches. Thinking the worst I took it to car Crafters for an estimate. S id, the manager, went out took a look and cleaned off everything with some solvent and a cloth. I am very impressed by him and what he did and and just dropped off the same car to have some scratches fixed up. I will give an updated review after I pick up the car. read more

Took my car in for repair. Cost $90 to tow it there. They took the front end apart and then told me that they wouldn't work on it as they didn't think they could make it right. Cost me another $90 to tow it home. When their commercials say it's like it never happened that's true, it never happened. Would NEVER go there again. read more

I had my jeep repaired their as my Insurance company Geico had me go there.3 times back and forth for adjustments and fixing. To this date the vehicle was deemed unsafe by the Jeep dealership as it was not repaired correctly. No other body repair shop will touch the unit as they are aware it cannot be repaired. Car Crafters was aware the vehicle damage would of deemed the vehicle unsafe and a total loss but failed to tell the Insurance company of the frame damage to the unibody. Now I drive a vehicle unsafe for the street of NM . But Geico insists the vehicle is safe because Car Crafters said it was . They blindsided my Insurance company with not telling the truth and the only thing they did right without a doubt was cash out the Insurance check. Let's hope to God the vehicle does not fail on the streets. I hate to see an innocent driver/family hurt as result of Car Crafters failure to fix a vehicle safe for the roads but the vehicle again cannot be repaired it suffered substantial structural frame damage. And Geico fell into their argument it is safe. read more
