Calibers Collision on Dorado -I am writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment with the service I received at your Dorado following the reassembly of my vehicle. After my insurance provider deemed my car a total loss, I chose to retain ownership and had to paid out of pocket for your team to reassemble the vehicle so it could be returned to me in safe and complete condition. However, upon receiving the car, I discovered that several parts were missing or left off entirely, including: * The mud flap * The trunk plug * Multiple under-carriage clips I find it unacceptable that, despite paying for the reassembly myself, the vehicle was returned in an incomplete state. These missing components are not trivial -- they are essential for proper vehicle operation, and protection. At a minimum, I expected that my payment would guarantee a thorough and complete reassembly of all original parts. I used Calibers for repairs on my truck and was very pleased, however after this event with my car, I will never return to Calibers for any type of service, nor would I recommend them. read more

My family took a vehicle to Caliber Collision on Alameda for repairs. Not only did the repairs take three weeks, but my family was told the vehicle was ready for pickup up and when they arrived to pick it up, it was still damaged! When voicing frustration to the staff about the vehicle still being damaged, an employee named Jeremy Chavez responded in the most unprofessional way imaginable. Not only did he verbally confront my family member outside, but then proceeded to call him a SLUR! I am not only frustrated about the poor service to our vehicle, but I am DISGUSTED with the behavior of the staff at Caliber Collision. This is NOT a safe place to bring your car if you are someone who identifies with a minority background or if you want service for your vehicle in a timely and professional manner. read more

These guys had my vehicle for a month, but I was surprised it was able to be fixed at all! the back of the car and the whole side had to be replaced. Both doors, whatever it is that the doors bolt to, airbags, the whole thing. I definitely thought it would be a total, I was hoping that it would at first because I didn't think it would ever be right. I was happy with the consistent updates and when they pulled it up front when I was picking it up I was shocked at the quality! It was perfect! The damage to my vehicle was a result of another driver and the referral to Caliber Collision (102 Alameda Blvd. NW Albuquerque, NM 87114) was one of 3 other shops in my area. This is a first-time repair on this vehicle and my first experience with Caliber Collision. My "Baby" was repaired and looks like new, excellent work (before & after photos included). Kudos to the Team at Caliber Collision: Alexis, Front Office/Desk - Alexis definitely showed me how personable, efficient and knowledgeable she is in her job. The explanations she gave me on the necessary intake and release paperwork was short, straight-forward and delivered with a smile. I appreciate your look up of the feedback option for me. Don, Service - Don's explanation and review of my vehicle damage, the timeline in which I could anticipate its' return and overall friendliness was on point and clearly shows he is there to make this customer feel assured the necessary repair will be done. Bob - Bob came into the lobby while I was waiting for Don and struck up a friendly conversation about a car like mine, as a personal story, and made my time waiting go by even faster while being personable. Suzy, Service - Suzy's 2 calls to me to notify me of the vehicle repair being completed and coordination of its' pick up; efficient, easy and took minutes. She even ensured her Tech filled my really low tire and check for damage to it (completely unrelated to the repair they completed) .... above and beyond. I don't know the names of the Tech(s) that worked on this repair, but they did an excellent, quality job. After receiving an estimate from Caliber on Dorado Street on 12/12/2024 and insurance approval for work, I was set to take in the vehicle on 1/07/2025. Upon arrival the office people couldn't find my appointment in their schedule. They explained that staff had left and the shop had cleared their whatever and made it seem it was now my problem. The manager came out and wanted to see the damages to vehicle (2025 Toyota Camry). He determined that one plastic part written up in the estimate might not be available due to newness of vehicle. At time of estimate this was not mentioned and I was never informed during the time between appointment and taking vehicle in for the work nor did I know they had staffing issues. Because I was upset finding out I had no appointment and that maybe a part would not be available, the manager decided I was going to be difficult to work with and Caliber wouldn't do the work. So in his mind if the shop doesn't prepare properly to serve clients, he thinks customers should just accept that fact and let them do the work. Businesses like this one are the type that take advantage of people after giving repair quotes and then raising the amount and making excuses for delays as to why it's taking longer to do the repair. Read the reviews posted about this company (I paid attention to the stars on reviews, bad idea) and decide for yourself. As for me, Caliber Collision is out of sight, out of mind forever! read more

NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!! They have had my car for 2 months and lied about how far they were into the process. They had the car for 2 months and never started on it! They promised it would be done in 3 weeks and had terrible excuses every time with why they didn't have it done. If you get there and work with Anthony do yourself the favor and walk away before he lies about getting the job done in a timely manner! I wish I could give them 0 stars. On top of all of this they had the car outside with the windows down and it ruined the interior of the car. Please do not go here. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! My vehicle was damaged but drivable when I dropped it off...over 3 months ago. It is now sitting in their lot, unusable, waiting on back ordered parts that should have been received before repairs began. I had to retrieve something from glove box at once point. The vehicle was sitting on their lot with the door removed and the interior open to the elements. My insurance called and Caliber, who promised it would be done today. When we called today for an update, we were told nothing but more lies and excuses about why it will be another month before repairs are completed. I am concerned that they lack employees to perform the work they promise. I am looking into arranging to have my vehicle towed to another shop so I may someday have use of it again. read more

They forgot two mounting bolts for the front end of our 2016 VW. Sounded like a lawn mower went straight to dealer and found problem. Nice video of the situation but Caliber will not pay me the $475 that I paid to dealer to fix and finish Caliber's work. Big problem is Caliber does not stand behind their work. July 24th my 2013 Camaro SS was hit by a lady crossing 5 lanes on Paseo Del Norte. Insurance ruled her at fault I didn't even have to show dash cam video. Her insurance spoke highly of Caliber @102 Alameda Blvd NW. Albuquerque, NM 87114.                                         July 26th Dropped my vehicle off at location in 1st gear with parking brake on. 9 days later, My vehicle was ready and I was so excited as this vehicle was going to be taking me on my 10 day trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico City and Tijuana Mexico. I picked up my car later in the day August 4th at around 4:32. Went for a drive came home parked in my driveway (which is a steep 45 degrees) and my car was rolling like inching its way down (which its never done before) So I looked through dash cam footage from the 9 Days! it was there, and boy did I see and hear some things I shouldn't have. The Employees took my vehicle for many rides, Burned out or peeled out in 4 videos and Used unnecessary acceleration quite often. In 1 video you can hear them engage parking brake and it sounds like a loud snap. Dropped my car off with 1/4 tank and got it back on empty it wouldn't even display the miles till empty. Due to them damaging my parking brake which is critical when you have a manual car, rolled back and hit another vehicle. Ive spoken to our family lawyer who's still going through the clips, but is certain we have a good case against them. I get it my car is a 2013 with 66k miles its not pristine, Its not the nicest car in the world but its my car and I take care of it I'm getting 20.2 MPG in a big manual V8. Spoke with manager Bob Branderhorst, who was really interested in videos of employees mistreating my car. So I sent him 2 of the many videos I have. And even offered to get me my windshield at cost which didn't get chipped till after accident and unfortunately the crack grew while being in the heat and it's almost halfway across. And offered to have my parking brake looked at upon my return but its been a few days and I haven't been back yet.                                                                                                       My recommendation, Go to Collision One, Preferably the 9733 Coors Blvd NW location behind the Chrysler Jeep Dealership. Ask for Andrew he's very nice. read more
