The overwhelming stench of cigarettes the second you walk in is hard to ignore. It feels like it's still left over from the 80's when smoking inside bars was allowed. The decor/lighting was also dark and dreary. I kind of wanted to walk out as soon as I walked in, but my best friend and I came here because we heard they serve a great bar pizza. We ordered mozzarella sticks to start. They didn't have the long, stringy-pulley cheese that everyone looks for in a mozzarella stick. Oh well. I wasn't expecting much given the environment I was in. Then I ordered a half cheese/half pepperoni pizza. It was pretty good! I thought the dough was a bit thick for bar pizza but the sauce and cheese were on point. I think the bartenders are usually pretty attentive and nice. Can't speak to table service. Honestly wouldn't care that much about either if they could put the food and drink in/on something clean. This is an observation over several visits. Two stars might be a little generous but there is so much potential for this dinosaur to still be good.
