Id never been to this particular location before (I'm a north side guy) but it was nice and very clean. And though it appeared they may have been a bit short staffed and I came in during a rush, the two gentleman working were pros that seemed to work well together and kept a good rhythm taking orders and helping each other get them out the door. Thanks for giving me a good meal and a reminder of how pleasant it is to come back home.

Ambiance-wise, it is a nice looking bar that serves food, and they make upscale drinks. An indeterminate number of minutes later, he produced a flat soda for my son and a beer that was best characterized as 'simmering' for me. Later (much later), we received an overcooked burger and a chicken wings that were either from an unhealthy or dehydrated chicken. I've rarely seen less appealing repast. Many establishments have had to make concessions post-Covid, but what we saw that night felt less like adjusting to staffing than not giving a crap. There were ten people there -- why couldn't you produce decent wings or a cold beer? It's too bad, because Waddell's of 2019 was a solid choice.
