My parents keep a boat at the Marina here every summer so I've visited this place a few times. You can not beat the atmosphere and location... definitely feels like you are on vacation! Beer list is decent with some good Happy Hour specials... and most visits our service has been very good. Our visit today, service was great, but food was meh... $15 Lobster Roll had minuscule amount of lobster and was served with Cape Cod chips instead of fries, no slaw, etc... just not worth $15, maybe $9.99 when compared to other lobster rolls in the area... Nachos + Chicken had almost no chips or chicken in it...seriously the whole plate was cheese, much of it not even melted.... but LOADED with jalapenos (which I like)... but balance out your nachos guys! Chips are cheap, why skimp on those? A $7 kid hot dog (also served with chips instead of fries) proved there isn't much in terms of value here... But as I said, great location, atmosphere, view, and service was good... they just need to step it up a notch or two in the kitchen and this could be a 4 star place... read more

Captain Jacks is my absolute favorite, because it "was my first" when I first visited Naples. Excellent food, lovable bartenders (I'm older), and the most scenic place in Naples to grab the "best, hands down" loaded Lobster Roll, as you enjoy watching boats putter through the little river, under the bridge and onto Long Lake. Has a great, loud vibe. Sometimes it's hard to talk here because of all of the excitement and music. But people are laughing, smiling, having fun. It's always jam packed! The food is consistent, tastes good, and delivered in a timely manner. read more

Went to Naples over the weekend for a Wedding, Decided to go to Captain Jacks for dinner and drinks, the owner Cynthia was awesome, her staff was able to accommodate a party of 8 within a 30 minute wait for all of us to sit together!!! The menu is fairly limited but it was delicious! I was skeptical that the wings were actually smoked but they had a smoke flavor and a smoke ring, and really crispy! The food was excellent, but unfortunately the service was absolutely HORRIBLE. We waited forever for our drinks AND food. People who came in after us were getting their stuff before us. Also, our party had to be split up and the people in our party at the other table finished eating and drinking their things before we even got our food. Our waiter was also clueless. Someone in our party asked the waiter if we could get more drinks, and he just kept walking and said "okay". He didn't even ask if wanted drinks. She wanted a different drink but she just got more of the same thing. We also talked to the table next to us and they said they were there since 12:30 waiting for food. It was almost 2:00. We went here on Thursday night for dinner. Sat at the bar, drinks and dinner. Quite a good crowd but still no problem getting a seat. Weather - showery, so a lot of the windows were closed - I think it becomes more of an open-air situation in good weather. I think there's outside deck seating with good weather, too. What I'm getting at, it was pretty noisy, if that's an issue with you. The 3 of us were able to converse OK, though. Drinks - very good and reasonably priced. Food - 2 of us had fried clams and 1 fish and chips. 5 stars for food and again, reasonable prices. Not only were the clams and fish good, but also the fries and cole slaw. Better than reasonable, actually, for a waterfront vacation area restaurant. Friendly prompt service. Live music started before we left - I guy, a singer with a guitar. Pretty good, my kind of music. Great views, food, and staff! I was with a group of 8 people and the bar was very busy, but Ashley quickly put two tables together and we had drinks before I thought we would even get a seat. Really lively atmosphere, lots of people grabbing drinks and food from their boats. The service was good, our server checked on us a lot even though it was busy. My wife and I have been here three times this spring and summer. Atmosphere is great, views are very nice, beer is cold and the food is very good. The lobster roll is one of the best I have had in any restaurant. The wings have a hint of a smokey flavor. Also very good. My wife says they are awesome! My wife did not like the potstickers but I did not try them. BLT was great. The Bloody Mary's are also very good. We Love this place. read more

Horrible Experience!!!!!!! Went to the place with white clothes. Came out with red (wine) and white clothes. Love Captain Jacks! We were there on a Friday evening, it was jammin but we still managed to grab seats at the bar. There was a pretty good guitar player doing cover songs. Lots of beers on tap and good food! We had the buffalo tenders and they were awesome. My husband had the reuben sandwich, he says it was the best he ever had. Lots of laughter and fun. Band starting to set up as we left. The great---waitress was attebtive, helpful, and quick. Table overlooking water to watch boats come in and out. The very good---sliders...3 to an order perfect size. Very juicy and flavorful. Mixed drink made exactly as ordered. The very good---onion rings...Hot crispy nice coating. Good sized serving. The good---nachos with chicken. Lots of toppings...cheese...chicken. downside...generic store bought chips.UPDATE---owner kindly responded and let me know the chops were made on site. The ambience was lovely and service was excellent. However, the food comes in tiny portions and is expensive. We ordered mozzarella wedges as an appetizer and got four small triangles the size of my thumb. I don't recall the price but it was expensive.
