The food is always well prepared, I've never felt like I've been given the incorrect amount of food for my money. Love that dollar menu!! I gave four stars because they often forget to give me a fork for sides such as refried beans, and the service is often on the slower side, even at times of the day you think would be quick service. I once had the girl at the window shout at her co workers to pick up the pace because we'd been waiting so long. Which was very sweet of her, but made me realize they likely weren't working with their best effort because the line wasn't long and it wasn't a busy time of day. Other than that, really good food! And the slowish service isn't enough to keep me from returning!

This nearly-nationwide Wisconsin-originated fast-food chain has a cult-following for their Wisconsin-originated ButterBurgers© (which are actually steaky-tasting burgers on buttered buns). And for a version of Wisconsin-famous squeaky-when-you-bite-them fried cheese-curds, not quite as sharp tasting (or quite as squeaky) as you would get in Wisconsin, but fun to bite! Well, we were in a mood, and went for their bragged-about shredded-chuck pot-roast sandwiches. I am sad to report that we were underwhelmed. The flavor was rather dull, despite the herb&spice cooking marinade, and the texture was not quite fall-apart-tender the way low-and-slow should come out. The cheese curds were ok. And of course we got the yummy flavor-of-the-day frozen custard: Turtle! (vanilla, caramel, chocolate, and toasted pecan). Aaaah :-p Well, the pot roast sandwiches were not thrilling. And we noticed that the Culver's drive-thru receipt is one of those that only lists the total price, not the price of each item. Why? If we were locals, we could have gone back to talk to them about this stuff. So, overall ok, but we can't 5-star this experience.
