I ordered a grilled chipotle chicken burrito. And it had nothing on it. I called and they said to bring it back but I don't have a car to get their. Bought through grub hub. Horrible service.

This business has poor customer service on night shift. They forget items and laugh when you call to let them know. Your food will also be just throw in the bag with out a care. Will never go back and will be letting everyone I know not to go there.

Horrible Horrible Taco Bell. Paid extra for sour cream and this is what I get. Bye bye crappy taco bell

Sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes just to receive the wrong order. No napkins. Nothing. Terrible experience.

Good things come in small packages, especially at Tacos El Paisa in downtown Richmond. If you want…read moreauthentic fare, this is the place! The location is tiny, but the food is mighty! The interior is clean and minimal but they squeeze in a full bar and a replica of their first food truck where it all began. They have a few dishes that sell out on the daily. Everything is made fresh to order. They have a salsa bar to accompany your food orders. This establishment is run by folk who love what they are doing and it shows. Also, the price points are awesome, well below any other Mexican restaurant, along with better tasting food. It's a win-win. Service was SUPER fast but they weren't very busy while we were there. It's not a fancy date night place but it's a delicious date night place! Extra points for an extremely clean bathroom.

The new restaurant off of Water street is nice and much larger than the old restaurant on main street but they usually only have one server working. With one server working 15+ tables they cannot give each table adequate service. I spoke to our server twice. We asked for tortillas and after 10 minutes ended up going to the host counter to ask for them. I think this restaurant could be much better with the correct amount of staff.

Stopped in today for lunch and got some amazing authentic Mexican food. I ordered 4 tacos -…read morecarnitas, al pastor and adobada. They were all great but I favored the carnitas. The meat was super tender and tasty. The best part was the sauce they bring out to the table in little squirt bottles. The red sauce was a chipotle flavored salsa and the green was just as amazing, maybe even more so. Prices were really reasonable, $1.75 per taco and other menu items were under $10. The only downside was that it took a little while (about 20 minutes) for it to be made. Of course, that means it was cooked fresh! I can't wait to come back!

Ok, I'll admit it, I'm a taco snob. No Taco Bell taco facsimiles for me. I want the real thing. I…read morewant to walk into a shop and see the menu in Spanish and find the tables filled with Latino immigrants longing for a taste of home. That's what you'll find at Taqueria Hidalgo. The menu is not extensive, tacos, burritos, soup (posole on the weekends) sandwiches, and quesadillas but who needs an extensive menu? We are really here for the tacos, right? So, let's talk about the tacos. I'm a huge fan of tripas (tripe) tacos. Growing up in East Tennessee I would never have imagined myself willingly eating the intestines of any animal but here I am, longing for those delectable morsels of deliciousness on a good tortilla with lime and a fiery green salsa. Taqueria Hidalgo delivers. The tripe tacos (order it cooked crispy) are delicious. The owner tells me they sell a huge amount of the tripe tacos and I see why - each crispy little piece of tripe is an earthy, porky, bite of heaven. Add the standard onions, cilantro, and lime along with some of the homemade green salsa and it's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. For the less advanced taco connoisseurs, they also have chicken, steak, marinated pork, etc. but be aware these are Mexican style street tacos - no cheese and served on soft corn tortillas. I'm so happy we have this family run business in Richmond. It is an asset to the community. Check it out!

Drove out to Richmond to meet some friends for dinner…read more We ordered some wings and choriqueso for an app 10/10. I always like to try wings at Mexican restaurants and they are always great. My friend ordered the molcajete and everything was super tender and it came with a house sauce at the bottom of it to give it extra flavor. It has a variety of meats and fried cheese and a cactus piece on it. Definitely big enough for two and unique! I ordered the carne asada, my piece came with more fat than I'm used to. Although the flavor was great. I paired it with a michelada and it came out a little spicy. The service was great they were on top of it. The inside of the restaurant was gorgeous too, very colorful and cozy. Seats were comfortable, overall a good dinner experience.

I has seen several friends and foodie folks on the interwebs talk about this "Mexican at the Mall"…read morelocation, so I decided to hop out and see what the fuss was about. I judge every trip to a new Mexican place by their version of the Speedy Gonzalez. This is a taco, an enchilada bean or rice. I had the beef version of this here, while it was solid, it did not blow my socks off. Beef was seasoned well, everything was piping hot and the taste was pretty bland overall. The refried beans were very tasty and the little bit of cheese on top was a great touch! I did not care for the salsa and chips. It didn't have much zip to it or any onion or cilantro flavors that I like. Chips were thick but warm and sprinkled with salt. I was there in the middle of the day and the place seemed a little dark. Service was fast and friendly. I will give it another whirl and try something different. But there are other Mexican places I will try before I go back to this one. Will give them an shout out for putting the crunchy taco on a bed of lettuce.
