There's also a self-serve station for drinks, ketchup, tartar sauce, and cocktail sauce. I ordered an iced tea and the shrimp and catfish combo, which came with fries and a couple of hush puppies. The hush puppies had a good flavor, but they were tiny! The fries tasted fresh, although they were a little greasy and salty, and I would have liked them crispier. The catfish was one large piece. I personally prefer smaller pieces with more crispy edges and a flaky texture, but that's just my preference. The batter was okay; the saltiness was what really threw it off for me. Both the fish and shrimp tasted very fresh, but the meal overall was too salty for my liking. The tartar sauce also tasted overly salty, so pairing it with the seafood made that even more noticeable. I switched to ketchup and eventually took the rest home. I actually enjoyed the leftovers more after crisping up the fish, shrimp, and fries and using my own tartar sauce. That made a noticeable difference in both the flavor and texture. The portion was decent for the smaller basket I ordered, so I had no complaints about the amount of food. Between the friendly service and fresh-tasting seafood, there were definitely positives. I just think a lighter hand with the salt and a crispier finish would have made the basket much better.
