1/2 chicken salad wrap

Beautiful day here on the eastern shore of Maryland and a very nice lunch for the four of us. We came by boat and it's always been easy to find a place to tie up to at capsize. We opted to eat at their outdoor deck as it was a beautiful day. We shared an order of onion rings that were very good and while I don't think they were homemade they were cooked perfectly and hit the spot. Wife and I split a chicken salad wrap and our two friends each had the shrimp salad wrap. The chicken salad is especially good and while both our friends enjoyed the shrimp salad I don't think it is quite as good as the chicken salad. Each one of those can very easily be shared especially if you have onion rings as an appetizer. there were very few people when we arrived just before noon but by the time we left the outdoor deck was filling up nicely. We need to branch out on our selections and try some different things as all the food we saw coming out looked very very nice, everything from crab cake to softshell crabs two various salads. Our waitress was very attentive and kept our glasses filled. Looking forward to getting back there a few more times before they close for the season and we will definitely try some other options

Great eatery on the water in Oxford. Many boats dock in that area and passengers stop over for lunch or dinner. The place has not just location going for them but also ambiance and food. The interior is airy and has a nautical theme. The patio is very relaxing and overlooks the bay. We opted to dine outdoors. I had the fish and chips, made with rockfish in a light beer batter. The fish was fresh, the portion was generous. The chips that accompanied the dish were regular fries (no malt vinegar) but still very good. My companion liked his rockfish platter. Will be back during the summer again!

Went in on a whim for Saturday dinner. Not crowded at all. We were seated immediately. Our server was very friend and polite. The drinks, though a tad pricey for me, we're large and quit strong! The food came out quickly and in order, with just enough time for us to finish our appetizers. I had the fish and ships (chips), and it was AMAZING! The piece of fish was bigger than my hand and barely fit on the plate. The breading was authentic, and not burnt. The fish itself was flaky and smooth, not overly fishy and melted in my mouth. My other half had the swordfish and raved about how it was perfect, and we'll paired with a vegetable side. After we ate, we weren't held hostage for the check, as our friendly server was also quite efficient. Definitely a nice date night dinner spot, and you can go around the corner for ice cream after!

We stopped here for lunch a couple of days ago. Great spot on the water and they are dog friendly outside. I had the fish and chips. It was advertised as rockfish, but it definitely seemed like cod. I didn't bother asking about it because it was still good. My husband got the monte cristo sandwich and he liked it even though they forgot the powdered sugar. I tried and it wasn't for me. We will definitely come back.

Tuna Stack

Initially assigned one waitress and then another brought us our cocktails. Highlight of the evening was definitely the appetizers. After that the service and food went quickly downhill.

Shrimp salad wrap and tuna and watermelon salad.

Capsize live up to the name. It was a shipwreck. And the captain (manager) appeared to have abandoned the ship.

Lobster roll does not need red onion in it. It takes away from the lobster flavor. We go for the view. Food is just average

Great location on the water. Fantastic dog-friendly outdoor patio area with lots of awnings that keep it cool in the hot summer months.

We tried a little bit of everything on the menu - the bread, oysters, cucumber salad, scallops, fries, rigatoni, and two desserts. Everything was incredible - creative yet comprehensible and decent portions for a more expensive restaurant. If you go during the 4-6pm window you'll have access to happy hour with discounted house wines and a few dishes. Jordan was our server and was great at convincing us to try certain things that later became an obsession (cucumber salad). Great lighting, lots of bench seating, and quick service. I'd go out of my way to eat here again and would recommend everything on the menu!

The seafood was excellent. We loved the oysters and the tuna sushi that you roll yourself--it was fun and delicious. The potato chips with Iberian ham and manchego were incredible and one of the most memorable bites of the night. Service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. The desserts were also fantastic. The labneh ice cream was completely out of this world, and the olive oil cake was excellent as well. A couple of small notes: the endive salad wasn't our favorite because it was covered in onions, which wasn't mentioned and unfortunately I really dislike onions. Also, the pork chop tasted amazing but we did notice toward the end that part of it was a bit undercooked. That said, overall the meal was excellent and we had a really great time. Definitely a memorable dining experience in St. Michaels.

They recently completed their outdoor dining renovation which consisted of a lower covered area and an upper deck with sweeping views of the tred Avon. We opted for the lower seating area as they only had high tops on the upper deck. The top deck also has shade covering. Great view of the river from both locations and we were very comfortable on a hot day due to a nice breeze as well as the fans they have on the deck. Chelsea was our server and she was efficient and personable. We opted for an order of onion rings, crab cake, mussels, coconut shrimp and a Burrata salad. we usually go to Capsize Restaurant by boat and docs clearly is bringing in more people which I suspect is largely related to their location on the river. Our food was mixed with the crab cake being a solid two star with too much filler and poor seasoning, tasted like one of the nasty crabcakes we get in Florida. The coconut shrimp were done nicely but the provided sauce was so hot that it took our guest breath away. My muscles were a solid four star and they mixed in spicy sausage and shrimp as part of the mix and it was very good. The garlic bread that came with it was in my opinion forgettable. The Burrata salad was a solid four star plus as was the avocado crab gazpacho which our guest had as an appetizer. Onion rings were OK but straight out of a box. All in all, I would gladly return especially during happy hour as I suspect they do a very big business.

The staff has always been super friendly, and drinks and food have always come out very quickly. They have very good crushes and their seared ahi tuna is my favorite menu it. It's always fresh and a good cut of tuna. Many times when I order seared tuna at restaurants there is always a section that is extremely chewy but that's never been the case at Doc's. Their wings are also great and popular amongst the group we typically go to Doc's with. If coming by boat, I recommend getting there early to try and snag a slip or spot on the backside as it gets very rough docking in the front or side of the restaurant.
