    Breakfast sandwich

I came here for breakfast. The sandwich I had was pretty good and filling. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and I enjoyed having a view of the water while having breakfast.

    Crabcake and fried chicken

Enter from the first level host stand and walked up a stair to the main restaurant and lounge room. Crabcake and fried chicken with a side of potato salad and stewed tomatoes for dinner. The crabcake was very good, the fried chicken was crispy but not marinated so lacked a bit of flavor. The stewed tomatoes were very sweet. Hubby had Delmonico steak with mashed potato and cole slaw. The steak was juicy and tender. The manager came over to greet us and told us about the history of this family restaurant. The waitress was attentive and an overall nice experience.

The calamari was chewy because it was dry.

We were so excited for the outdoor seating and the views but the food and service were so lacking! Our waitress was nice but she was gone half the time. (Was it busy somewhere else in the hotel?) Drinks took a long time to get to us. It was the same with appetizers and entrees. The fried calamari was lukewarm; it was the same with all our entrees except the Brooks burger. The calamari's batter was crispy and had potential but the calamari itself was chewy. Our mussels dish had 6 unopened mussels and the bread was not a baguette. It was a small brioche loaf. The chicken tenders tasted fine but it was also lukewarm. The fish tacos were disappointing. The pico de gallo was not fresh and the sauce tasted like a bottled nam pla. It was viscose like corn syrup. The kids liked the pretzel bites but it does look oddly like ones you can find frozen, doesn't it? I wouldn't recommend this place for food but maybe the drinks are fine?

Beautiful views and amazing food! The seafood was so fresh. Complimentary cornbread was the best we've ever had. Hidden gem!

Come bask in the light of... well... Harrison's Harbour Lights. Notice how fancy they are, spelling "harbor" like that. There's a grand entrance as you roll up to this place. Reminds me of that staircase in Titanic that Leo comes down. You walk in, traverse the staircase, then are greeted by a - what I'm presuming to be - professional. After being escorted to the table, you sit down and notice the premium nature of the cloth that adorns it. Real heavy, commercial grade fabric. Three minutes into our visit, I'm already impressed. It's vacation time in Maryland. No matter how classy a joint looks, if there's a bar, Orange Crushes are on the menu. What was also on the menu was assorted broiled seafood. The platter was good, except for some weird fried mystery meat. Yes, fried food on the broiled seafood platter. Maybe it was mistake. Or some cruel joke. On the fried side of things, the fries were good. Real crisp, just how dad used to fry 'em up. Let's talk ambiance. It's romantic at night. Probably super casual during the day. But nothing beats looking over the water under a starry sky. Too bad on our trip it was cold and raining. Service here was a great team-oriented system. Good communication and unselfish behavior was seamless and efficient. You know who I bet would absolutely LOVE this place? Older folks who have a lot of money. They can dress up and come out and have an old timey date. Harbour Lights screams romance, almost to clichéd extremes.

This place is awesome! Friendly staff, including Brayden who made my night letting me call ahead and order their amazing crab dip before the kitchen closed. Great drinks. Great prices. Happy this place stays open late in the off season. Often has live music. And in the summertime, you can enjoy your orange crushes or mudslides outside by the pool.

View was stunning. Crab cakes were overpriced for the size but delicious! Our poor server was also the bartender and had tables upstairs and downstairs so she was always running. She was incredibly sweet though and it was also Mothers Day so we understood.

    View looking to the bay

Located on the 2nd floor with a great water view. We were told to pick a table and someone would waite on us. Around 10 minutes later a gal stops and asks who sat us, then she states I will need to find a server. About 10 minutes later we get a server and order drinks. It seems like it took 15 to 20 minutes for the server to come back to the table. Our food was average, service was about the slowest I had in the last 5 years as it took 2 hours to get drinks, soup and a meal. I eat in restaurants at least 10 times a week and this was the slowest service in years. If you want a Nice view, average and over priced food, friendly server, and super slow service and have a few hours to waste, this is the place

    View from our table

Had high hopes for this place but unfortunately it turned out to be pretty average. I ordered the cheesesteak and my hubby had the rockfish entree. My cheesesteak was alright nothing too special. I did enjoy the fries and the cornbread. The rockfish was bland but after adding a bit of salt it was ok. The waitress was really nice but the food did take a very long time to come out. The restaurant was a bit dirty and run down. The napkins had stains and so did the table cloth. I did enjoy the pretty view of the harbor and there is seating outside as well.

We tried a little bit of everything on the menu - the bread, oysters, cucumber salad, scallops, fries, rigatoni, and two desserts. Jordan was our server and was great at convincing us to try certain things that later became an obsession (cucumber salad). Great lighting, lots of bench seating, and quick service. The seafood was excellent. We loved the oysters and the tuna sushi that you roll yourself--it was fun and delicious. The potato chips with Iberian ham and manchego were incredible and one of the most memorable bites of the night. Service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. The desserts were also fantastic. The labneh ice cream was completely out of this world, and the olive oil cake was excellent as well. A couple of small notes: the endive salad wasn't our favorite because it was covered in onions, which wasn't mentioned and unfortunately I really dislike onions. Also, the pork chop tasted amazing but we did notice toward the end that part of it was a bit undercooked. That said, overall the meal was excellent and we had a really great time. Definitely a memorable dining experience in St. Michaels.

Unfortunately, it was lack luster; more shell than crab and mostly devoid of flavor. I'll admit that being from the lowcountry I have a high bar for crab soup and this didn't come close to meeting it. The truffle fries were delicious and it was fun to sit at the bar and watch the kitchen action. Our waiter was attentive but when the bill arrived we had been charged for drinks we didn't order. This is not as uncommon in tourist towns as one would hope. I lived in Nantucket long enough to always go over the bill with a careful eye.

The place feels like it's been part of the town forever (and it has!), with that perfect mix of old-school charm and "dockside picnic" energy. We grabbed a table outside where boats were literally pulling up to the dock, gulls flying overhead, and the smell of steamed crabs in the air heaven. We ordered a big pile of steamed blue crabs, some crab cakes, and a round of cold drinks. Everything tasted super fresh, full of that signature Old Bay flavor, and just messy enough to make it fun. The staff was super friendly the kind of folks who make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time there. Things moved at a relaxed pace (which fit the vibe perfectly), and the view as the sun started to set over the Miles River was unreal. Sure, it's not fancy but that's what makes it great. We had an 8PM reservation at the beginning of April, for my birthday month. They immediately greeted me happy birthday we when arrived at Stars. I loved that. It was a weekday night so not very busy. We did have a window view, but since it was dark already we didn't have much of a view, except for when the lightening illuminated the sky. Then you could see the water and the dock and the Adirondack chairs across the lawn. I imagine it would be an amazing view in the day time. But even at night, it was lovely. With the white walls and high ceiling, somehow the space is still intimate and cozy. Service was also personable. Our lovely server told us about his upcoming trip to Spain and always made sure we had what we needed throughout dinner. I ordered the beef tenderloin and my husband had the sea bass. Both entrees were flavorful and hit the spot. If you are very hungry, I would recommend an appetizer. The entree portions are not huge, but they are enough if you're not too hungry. We were surprised at how full we were! The amusé bouche was an oyster in a light cream sauce (it's been a few days - I believe that's correct). Delicious, as was the light vegetable serving my boyfriend had since he is more vegetarian. The oyster stew was also wonderful (no wonder I was so full) and they provided a vegetable soup that was too. Our mains around the table were a black cod (again, I think that's accurate), and Maryland Crab Boil which really is a crab cake and very crab full. The fish had a nice crisp touch but tender and moist - all excellent and just enough for us. There was a vegan chocolate mousse made with avocado, a flourless dairy version, both good. We also had the panna cotte and an interesting donut with tropical fruit. I could tell my server wasn't quite impressed with the cake donut but I had to try it and it was just ok. Downsides? It was a 3 hour meal. Long breaks in between. Good thing we all like each other and have many stories to tell. Whether there was a large party going on or what, we don't know. They could have kept us more informed about timing and/or offered another round of wine but we were pretty much on our own in between as we were outside on the patio. Otherwise a five star experience and nice staff though they feel a bit young and at the mercy of the kitchen. Having been a waitperson it felt like they were afraid to interact to tell us about timing. But I always think it's better for the customer to know what's up and feel taken care of rather than abandoned. We'll be back another time however.!
