We went to STARS for breakfast when we were staying at the inn. The first day we ordered the crab omelette and the mushroom omelette. My mushroom omelette was a little lite on the mushrooms. The crab one was very good. On day two we got the crab Benedict and the avocado toast both were great. I also enjoyed the carrot juice one day and the green juice another. My husband ordered the Bloody Mary. It wasn't anything special but he enjoyed it. Service was good.

My husband and I had an absolutely delicious meal at Star! We came here on our mini-moon and had a fantastic experience. It was very hard to select what to order because the options were all so good. We were very pleased with our order and loved every single bite! The chef is playful with seasonal ingredients and makes some new and inventive pairings succeed and reinvents tried and true pairings. This is a MUST try if you're in Saint Michael's!

Wow what a special night! Eric was such a nice guy and the perfect waiter, the food was very good, the drinks were excellent. We felt very special, with red napkins and a white tablecloth. The staff was so friendly - really makes everything so much better. Love this spot.

Always the best meal in St. Michaels. Great Service. Beautiful ambiance and the food is worth it every time.

This is a very nice and beautiful restaurant. I ordered the Duck sautéed with Napa cabbage, it was salty and the Napa cabbage was over cooked. I had been to this restaurant in the passed and had a better meals.

Breakfast tacos with chorizo were delish! The salsa was super spicy I loved it!

It was the open door kind of hidden around a bush. Sent there and waited for Brenda. She was kind. Went to get the owner Paul because I mistakenly booked two rooms. He said it was no problem, he could fix it. Gave us the password to the wifi and our key. He told us that we could cast the game onto a tv if we needed to. Awesome! We bought two bottle koozies which, if you don't bring any- this is a must for a hot day. There are maybe 10 rooms to stay in. It's motel style, your door opens to the outside. Our room was super clean. #5. And opened to a sandy area and a volleyball net. A couple groups of Adirondack chairs in the sand. A couple fire pits also. This place is very cool! It's on the water of the Chesapeake Bay. You can drive here or boat here. There are 4 bars. 3 are outside, 1 inside. Although I'm not sure why. They're all very close to each other. Live music today (Sunday) 2p-6p Also on Friday and Saturday While at the bar outside we ordered fried green beans that came with a spicey dip- and were given a small pager that told us when our food was ready - IT WAS delicious! We started a tab at an outside bar and were told that we could order at any of the 4 bars. We went inside when a baseball game was about to start. They have no baseball game channels. Jake tried to help us for a few minutes but got frustrated and walked away. I'm not sure where that went wrong. While inside at the bar we ordered food. Cheeseburger and fries, and wings. Both delicious. Still no game. It was on direct tv. Jake didn't know the password. After a lot of signal searching on my cellphone. (No signal at the inside bar) we found a friend that gave us their log in to direct tv. This is a cozy little local spot. I'd compare the stay to a cottage at a camp ground. It was clean and close to the bar. Walking distance. To sum it up. It was a new experience. A fun stay. Everything except that 4 inning bump in the road when Jake made us feel like we were bothering him.

The rooms are clean and quiet. Bedding and baths are clean. No odors and no evidence of a previous stay. The grounds are really nice -- offering views of Haven Harbour Swann Creek and their Marina. What's really nice is the accommodations are far enough away from the Marina that you can't hear any boats or machinery -- just an occasional seagull and maybe some geese. They also have firepits, gazebos and bicycles as well as walking paths -- very nice. The rooms come with a "continental" breakfast including toasts, muffins, juices, coffees, cereals, yogurts, etc with a buffet style hot plate - differing from day to day - sometimes sausage, quiches, or scrambled eggs. You can tell these dishes are locally prepared as they are delicious without any signs of mass processed food. This extra - in my opinion - makes Haven Harbour's hospitality quite notable. The staff can't do enough to help. They are kind and a pleasure to work with. And, there's not a lot of hustle and bustle by staff members -- it's really quite quiet and very nice. They absolutely respect your choice to stay with them.

We were incredibly excited to spend our once in a life time honeymoon in such a beautiful place, but felt underwhelmed and honestly disappointed with the whole experience. Renovations: We knew this time of year would be slower (October 2025) and that's okay. What we didn't know was that 2/3 of the resort would be closed for renovations. I understand facilities will eventually need work and slow season would be the time to do it, but there was no communication about it until we were already there. Had we known we probably would've chosen a different resort. Thursday and Fridays morning we were woken up due to construction noises. NOT the kind of thing you'd expect at a place like this. Staff: Some of the staff was friendly; I would say most. Johnny the bartender was awesome. There were a few encounters however where staff didn't seem to care and they never once apologized for 2/3 of the resort being closed or offered anything to make up for it--a complimentary bottle of wine, a coupon to use at the spa, etc. I'm not looking for handouts, but after working in hospitality for over a decade I know you want your guests to feel welcome; especially on special occasions, such as this. Over the course of a week, only once were we greeted at the beach by a waitress to ask us if we wanted anything to drink or eat. I found this odd because you would think during a slow season it would be the opposite. I always tip at least 20% so it wouldn't have been the staff avoiding us due to not tipping. There is no Uber or Lyft so you have to call taxis to go everywhere if you don't rent a car. The concierge was helpful here and every time they got a taxi booked quickly, which was appreciated. Upon checking out I noticed there was a charge for a bottle of wine we did not consume. When I mentioned it I was told by the manager she would not be removing the charge and just walked away. I was honestly shocked. I was surprised by this treatment after every other place we had been to in Turks had the most friendly and kind people. I would suggest a different resort based on this alone. Facilities: Everyone was crammed into one corner of the resort because everything as closed. They played the same song on repeat all week. I'm not even exaggerating here. The same song on repeat all week. The beach was beautiful and our room was gorgeous. The AC worked very well and we slept like a rock when not being woken up by construction. The main pool was drained for work so they told us to use the 2 swim out pools attached to the first floor rooms patios. It felt uncomfortable swimming here and like we were intruding on the privacy of the people who booked those rooms. I feel bad for those who did book those rooms expecting a somewhat private swim out pool. Food: All the food was great. The food in Turks & Caicos was remarkable and better than we expected. Overall it looks like Windsong has the potential to be a great place to vacation, but for us it did not live up to expectations. There are so many options for tropical destinations and resorts that you should not settle for anything less than amazing, and unfortunately Windsong was not that. Save yourself a potential let down and stay somewhere else.

First off, the people dropping 1-star reviews on this place are probably the high-maintenance crowd…read morewho drove down from NY or DC expecting a luxury high-rise and never bothered to do five minutes of research beforehand. This resort is pure mom-and-pop energy. Not some polished corporate chain with cucumber water in the lobby. It's been part of OC since the 1950s and it feels like one of those places where families vacationed as kids, then came back years later with their own kids, and the cycle just keeps going. The whole place runs on nostalgia, tradition, and "remember when?" stories. Everything here is functional and clean but you absolutely get what you pay for. If you're expecting modern luxury, quartz countertops, and Instagram-core aesthetics, head to condo row in north OC and prepare to pay at least 50% more. We stayed here in early May 2026. The outdoor pool was still closed for the season but every other amenity was up and running. One nice perk: all amenities are free for guests. There are signs everywhere saying wristbands are required, although at the indoor pool that rule seemed to be enforced with the intensity of a mall security guard on break. Nobody in our group had wristbands on and half the pool crowd didn't either. Even in early May, the indoor pool was pretty lively without feeling chaotic. While we didn't fully take advantage of it, the pool bar specials were honestly kind of absurd in the best way possible. They had around a dozen beer options (everything from basic to craft) for like $2-$3 each. No exaggeration on that. Not one beer was more than $3. Crushes, cocktails, jello shots, and other drinks were all priced shockingly reasonably too. If you're traveling with a big group, you could easily dedicate an entire day to staying on the property and still spend less than you would almost anywhere else in town. My 8-year-old loved the mini golf course. Is it a little worn down compared to some of the flashy courses nearby? Sure. But it's free, and free mini golf automatically gains at least two stars in my book. They also show two family-friendly movies every evening around 6 PM and 8 PM with complimentary popcorn, which is a nice touch. The arcade had maybe 6-12 games total: skeeball, crane games, Mortal Kombat, a racing game or two, and a handful of random classics. Games do not take quarters and you have to purchase a game card. Honestly, the arcade can be skipped but you walk past it going to the indoor pool. If you want to play arcades, go to the inlet and hit up Playland or Sportland. There's also a small outdoor playground that should easily satisfy kids 10 and under. We stayed in the Pennsylvania building on the second floor. The room itself was comfortable. The shower pressure was a little weak, but perfectly usable. One underrated plus is the sink is outside the bathroom. The room had a microfridge, two queen beds, basic cable, solid AC, and comfortable mattresses. The biggest downside is definitely the thin walls. Sound travels. A lot. Thankfully, most guests were families, so it never felt rowdy in a BAD way. You will hear laughter, small kids yelling, doors shutting, etc. And because it's a family resort with thin walls, some parents seemed to operate under the philosophy of "vacation bedtime is optional" and throw any self-awareness out the window. On Saturday night, there were kids sprinting around the hallways at 11:30 PM while parents yelled at them from somewhere in the parking lot like they were trying to coach a youth soccer practice from three fields away. Zero awareness that other families, likely with small kids, might actually be asleep. Thankfully, we brought a white noise machine, so it wasn't a huge issue for us. But I could definitely see peak summer weekends getting a little chaotic. That said, this may also just come down to my mindset. Even though we live here, if we ever need a quick few-night escape from our house again, we'd probably come back. The value is really hard to beat.

The bad: grainy flatscreens could use an upgrade, the beds are small and have old itchy sheets, the indoor pool is one of the worst i've ever seen (floating hair/bandaids/trash and noone appears to be cleaning up after guests leave their cups//towels- almost had nowhere to seat upon entry).
