Ambiance: This is a pretty nifty place inside! Between the brick accent wall, metal cladding, and stained woods, there are plenty of textures to keep your eyes busy while you're waiting for your food. The materials do a good job of absorbing sound to the place is fairly quiet. The seating is rough wood boxes or metal chairs so not a place you'll want to hang out at but adequate enough for a quick lunch. The staff are friendly and the food comes out in a reasonable amount of time. Ordered: Small wagyu slaw sandwich and medium cheesesteak Price: $26.47 (without tip) Food: I was pleasantly surprised by these sandwiches! They have great sub rolls that are like a better version of Jimmy Johns. The wagyu slaw sandwich has a heartier chewier french/hoagie roll while the cheesesteak had a slightly softer and fluffier sub roll. Both sandwiches were very well-balanced with almost a 40:60 split between any fixings and the protein. Given the high cost, they did not feel skimpy at all. I would highly recommend the cheesesteak as it is perfectly-sliced with crispy browned beef chunks and gooey melted cheese. It could have used a little more mushroom but not everyone is a mushroom fanatic like me. I did get hot peppers on the side and would recommend them if you like a hit of spice and acid on your sandwich. The waygyu sandwich is basically a cold roast beef sandwich with a mild slaw that adds good moisture and acid, also a very solid choice. Overall we had a great meal. We would say the small plus a side or the medium by itself makes for a satisfying meal while a large would be great if you're starving. The prices are admittedly high for a sandwich shop but it they do seem to use high-quality ingredients and they are prepared well. I would gladly come here again for my next sandwich fix. read more

I saw this place last week when I ate at Famous Dave's right across the highway. They have a nice little dining room accented by wood paneling. I could smell cookies baking while I was eating. Their service was quick and accurate. They took my order, got it right, and delivered my sandwich almost immediately. There is nothing like a hot sub sandwich right off the grill ready to eat at your table, especially if I didn't have to make it. I ordered the American Wagyu French Dip which is a Limited-Time Only deal. The sandwich consists of American Wagyu Roast Beef, Swiss cheese, mayo, black pepper and Au Jus Sauce. I chose the Half Size for $6.99. The sub was really good and dipping it in the sauce just makes it even better. Parking is no issue whatsoever. The business that used to occupy the corner suite of the building is no longer there and so all of their parking spaces are available. I found the restroom to be okay. It was my first time trying this sandwich shop. I saw good reviews so I thought I would check it out. I had the cole turkey and tomato soup. My friend had the meatball sub and a salad. You get quite a bit of food for the price. On a ten scale the overall quality and taste of the food was a 7 I prefer my tomato soup a bit more creamy but it still had a decent flavor. A frickin perfect sandwich (I almost wish I could cuss on this app because it deserves an explicit but that would be in bad taste and this place tasted great).I even waited like an hour to eat it and it was still on point. You can also get it as a combo which includes a drink and a cookie or chips. I got the 10 inch American Wagyu Cheese Steak combo. The sun was decent, it was not one of the best that I have had though. The meat was missing some flavor. The bread was fresh and my sandwich was prepared very quick. I waited about 5 minutes or so. The cookies are made fresh in the restaurant, so I had to give them a try. I got the sugar cookie as part of my combo and it was delicious. I enjoyed my experience at this spot. The chips were the Miss Vickie's brand of kettle chips are always delicious. Okay, Capritotti's has failed me several times in the last 6 months, so this rating has fallen. What happened? - I ordered a vegetarian turkey sub for a family member. They were VERY hungry and we've been here before so they didn't think to check the filling....they ate 1/3 of it before realizing it was REAL MEAT. Folks who don't eat meat can get ill if they eat meat for the first time in a long time - ugh, bummer! - They did replace the sandwich but total trust is lost. I stopped by here the other day to pick up a to-go order. I ordered the chicken crunch and a drink to go. The person that took my order was nice and explained what each menu board had on it. The first one being the sandwiches and that's what I was interested in. There was only one other person in the restaurant waiting for it to go order. I went back to get my drink and the cabinet the drink machine was sitting on was dirty on the face of it and on the top and around a drink area on the floor it was dirty. Again there we're no customers to speak of. I picked up my sandwich and went to my truck and it would have been a little match to eat at and drive so I sat in the parking lot and ate it. This was my second visit to Capriotti's. When we walked in, we were greeted by all the staff. I decided to get a small 8inch Italian sub with chips and a drink. We got it to go. The service was fast and friendly. Our subs were still hot and tasty when we got home. They have a variety of options here so I can see coming back. The price seems a bit higher than other sub type places but I would say it's the on the same price point as Penn Station. The inside wasn't the cleanest but not awful. I love coleslaw on a sandwich, but the amount added, it made the sandwich cold. The coleslaw was also wet. I wouldn't say too much mayo...but something that made it loose. Just not good. Wow! This place was a surprise, I always drove by this location and wanted to try one of their subs. So today I went in and walked in to a modern sandwich shop, and it smelt delicious. I checked out there menu and saw they were famous for their "The Bobbie" which is like Thanksgiving dinner on a sub. And man was I impressed. I did the Half Sub/Cup of Soup meal which was a great price for being under $10. I got the "Bobbie" sub which was a sub with Butterball Turkey, Stuffing, Mayo, And cranberry sauce. I got it hot too. Then I got a cup of their New England clam chowder. The sub was AMAZING! It was huge for half a sub and they gave you the perfect amount of everything on it. I was extremely impressed! They even bring it to your table. The soup was great too! The cranberry sauce and stuffing on the sub was just like grandma makes it. Overall I recommend trying their "Voted Best Sub" "The Bobbie Sub"... it was spectacular! My friend got the same with the Turkey Chili which tasted great too. Let me start by saying that we loved Capriotti's and frequently ate there. It's disheartening to see how little regard they, or the franchise owner, have for their customers. We ordered our usual Bobbie and my wife bit into a bone in the sandwich cracking her molar. I reached out to Capriotti's directly and didn't get a response. Eventually, Janelle Zuniga with corporate responded with the screenshots shown below. She sent us a coupon for a free sandwich, which we probably won't use. We have never heard back from anyone including the franchise owner even after I reached out again. I didn't want to resort to posting on social media, but we've been left with no other option. I requested them to not add any Mushrooms. I have had many Submarine Sandwiches in my life, but this was absolutely phenomenal! I am very picky when it comes to any foods involving Steak and Cheese. It's all about balance, ratios, and perfecting your flavor combinations. You'll find that many restaurants either have Steak that is over/under seasoned, cheeses that don't combine well, or they'll use Breads that don't compliment the meats and cheeses. The Sub Roll was perfect. It had great flavor, complimented the other flavors, was fluffy and fresh, and had a satisfying bite to it. The Waygu Beef and Onions were seasoned to perfection. It was extremely moist, had great flavor, and they used a decent portion of it too. The White, American Cheese melted just the way it should've, had great flavor, and made the whole sandwich in general complete. If you ever visit this Restaurant, PLEASE try this Sandwich. This is a pretty solid place if you want a chain restaurant sandwich with interesting toppings that's not run of the mill. We've been here a few times with no bad experiences yet. They often have great coupons (i.e. buy one, get one free sammie - an almost $9 value) in mailers and on their app. We used a BOGO sandwich coupon today and we also always take our own water bottles everywhere so it was less than $10 for my husband and me to eat lunch today. 11/20/2021 5:25pm. First time eating here. The employee that waited on us was very nice. The food: I had the cheesesteak & clam chowder and my wife had a chicken salad. My Cheesesteak was bland as was the clam chowder. My wife's chicken salad in her words, "Wasn't anything to write home about" but the thing that made this visit the worst was the cleanliness of the Men's restroom. The toilet was just filthy, the sink very dirty & grubby. The bathroom door was locked as someone was in there so I waited outside. About two minutes later an employee walked out. After I finished washing my hands I realized there were no paper towels in the towel dispenser. I wonder if the employee who came out of the restroom before me even washed his hands as there were no paper towels. I'm guessing he didn't. He also didn't warn me about no paper towels as I would have waited to use the facility. The employees that that work at Capriotti's apparently don't care about the cleanliness of the restaurant they work in nor do they feel any responsibility or concern for the health of the customer. This will be on Yelp, reported to the Better Business Bureau and I will file a complaint with the Marion County Health Department. There is absolutely no reason for a business to be lax with sanitation. read more

It is really conveniently located right off of 31. When I walked in, the interior was much spacey than I expected. I think I was expecting it more to feel like a subway. However, it was bigger and nicer than that! A step above for sure! The restaurant was clean and well stocked with silverware and napkins. The staff was great as well. I asked a lot of questions because I was not sure what I wanted. I ordered the vegetarian turkey sandwich. I was not sure what to expect but oh my goodness, it was great! They have so many vegetarian options. I am really excited about it. I will definitely be back for more veggie sandwiches. Another great thing about the sandwiches is that they come in 3 sizes! For me, the 6 inch (smallest size) was plenty big and I was definitely full after. Their menu included a lot of other hot and cold sandwiches. They also have soups and salads.
