I went to Capri Tailoring because I saw the reviews on here and I'm so glad that I went there. He was so friendly and very helpful. I was so nervous that nobody was going to want to alter my dress because it's lace AND because I needed it done in less than a week. Almost instantly he said that it could be done and in time. While I was there a lady walked in and when she noticed that he was altering my wedding dress she said that I had definitely brought it to the right place because he was amazing. She was right! I took it in on Saturday and when he found out that my wedding was the following Saturday he said he would have it ready by Thursday so that I wouldn't stress out. When I picked it up Thursday I was amazed that the dress was so perfect that it didn't even look like it was tailored. My (now) husband also took his suit to him. I have been a long time customer of Capri Tailoring, over eight years. I am always happy with the service and quality of work. I recently needed a suit altered for an emergency funeral and Tom did the job in a day and a half. I noticed other reviews about the price of Tom's work, shop around, his prices for the quality of work are competitive. Just try to replace what you had altered with Tom and see the value. I have purchased suits and rented a tux at Capri as well. They offer great prices, as good as the" buy one get two at half price" advertisers. I've recently moved to the area and was extremely skeptical about having a stranger make alterations that I haven't seen their work before - however let me just tell you that when I came back to pick up the dress - it was PERFECT! My dress has lace and to alter the dress it's very meticulous. Taking the lace off and altering the gown and replacing and sewing the lace on was SPOT on. They altered the dress to a perfect form fit and I honestly couldn't have anyone else do as great of a job as they did. I went to Capri tailor to have my dress for my daughter's wedding tailored my dress was too big on me and too long the bottom of the dress was cloth roses so it could not be him from the bottom and besides needed to be taken in as well as the top.when I picked up the dress I was so happy to find that the work on the dress was exquisite. the tailors here are experts in their field and very gracious and friendly I sent my mother there and my daughter and both of their dresses also came out beautifully Thank You Capri Taylor for making this wedding of my daughter so wonderful read more

He has great style, a fantastic eye for what will look good and his work is perfection! He has the most helpful attitude. He will always go out of his way to make sure you are happy with his work. so 4 years ago my daughter bought her prom dress at a vintage store on Melrose (gorgeous) floor length with lots of details and beaded pearls. capri tailoring not only hemmed the dress but also REDESIGNED THE BACK ( back out with criss cross design). The bustle turned out to be quite difficult because of the pickups through the bottom and the tailor was patient enough to show me my options before doing anything permanent which possibly saved my dress. I just took my dress in Capri Tailor to be shortened from the ankle to the knee. They not only shortened the dress, but worked with scalloping the french lace dress on the bottom.
