I paid $11 for a regular manicure (nothing special. No paraffin, no type of design, just regular nail polish). It was chipped within two days. When I go to other nail spas my manicures last me at least 4/5 days and typically only cost $7. I wasn't impressed by this place at all. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

When nail salons are a dime a dozen, it is special when you find a place that gives you a little bit more than just a nice manicure. When you walk into Capri nails, you are automatically relaxed. The ambience is warm and soothing. All of the manicurists are professional, warm and friendly. The receptionist at the front desk welcomes you with a warm greeting. An added bonus, professional massage therapists giving you a brief but very good massage during your manicure. All tips were very graciously appreciated. Incentive to pay in cash - save five dollars on a gel manicure by paying in cash rather than credit card. Looking forward to going back again. read more

Where does this place get off charging $12 for a manicure? No one is friendly there. It was crowded and I don't even understand why people go there. I had two different ladies do my nails over a 10 mins span. First of all, I truly believe a good manicure should be 20 mins. It should be a calming and relaxing experience. Not rushed. That's one of my pet peeves. However, I digress. The first woman that started my nails was distracted the whole time. She was really the receptionist and I guess thought she was doing me a favor by taking me instead of having me wait. I would have rather waited than be rushed and not given an opportunity to have a normal manicure. She was so fast at filing, and cutting cuticle that it was a shitty job. When she placed the hot towel on my hands, she then left me to help other customers. By the time she came back she patted me dry with a cold towel. Awesome. Then the second lady polished me but before she started to, didn't know that removing any dirt beneath the nails makes for an overall nice looking manicure job. I had to ask her to remove the dirt and she said she did. I was getting a sheer color and didn't want to see the dark spots or lines beneath the nail. Sorry for wanting to walk out with clean hands and fingernails. I don't even think the receptionist used clean utensils. She sprayed it with antiseptic while I saw other manicurists open up new ones from a plastic bag. I don't know why I have such a hard time finding a decent place. I was rushed, not given a decent manicure job, and overcharged when I could have gone somewhere else and paid the typical $7-$10. read more

I have had pleasant and unpleasant experiences at this salon. The owner makes a lot of mistakes with the appointment schedule and often when you up denies you have an appointment. I once complained that I had to wait because a client showed up late for her appointment. The staff member got very annoyed because I complained about having to wait. In the past I gone there and was told that I was late and could not get service. This rule should apply to everyone!! read more

I get pedis here all the time because they are SO CLEAN!!! They line the tub with a plastic liner so your feet never touch where someone else's did. The quality is also better then in any other Oceanside place I've tired. LOVE!! read more

I love this place. It's clean and there are usually 4 or 5 guys walking around whose only job is to give everyone shoulder massages while their nails dry and, if the salon isn't too busy, also when they first sit down for a manicure. It is a little more expensive than other nail salons in the area, but the massages win me over :) read more

Capri nails is a very beautiful, spa like place, but terribly overpriced. I used to go there for UV Gel manicures, but my nails got infected, and had to remove them. been a year since, and now I my nails are in great shape and I go to Crystal Nails now on Mott Street. Mani/Pedi's are less expensive (only on certain days but that's fine) and the manicure lasts just a week, but that is the norm. Pedi's last two weeks. Will I ever return to Capri? Massages were great, atmosphere really nice, but I will save my money for the tip at Crystal! read more

I used to love that place... The mani+pedi were just fine but I loved the free shoulder rub and the overall look and feel of the place. I must say that my past few visits to Capri have been rather disappointing: They are WAY to busy and rush through their services. The employees look angry and annoyed... If you pay attention how the manager/owner? treats them, you 'll know why... The place is packed and pretty noisy. A lot of women bring their children who are loud. It is definitely NOT a relaxing spa experience, rather hectic,noisy, factory like feeling place... It is also over priced... They charged me $5 for removing gel nail polish... I have started exploring other places in the neighborhood and I must admit, there are far better places out there than Capri.... read more

Ok so I'm just going to tell it like it is. I've been a customer of Capri nails for at least three years but after today I will never go back, perhaps it's a procession of bad experiences that have cumulated over my last few visits but here is why... My last visit after being told would be a 10 minute wait was turned out to be actually almost 30. I had a gel manicure and pedicure and the nail technician did a terrible job leaving the polish from my last pedicure still in the corners of each toe and when I had my gel manicure it got worse when she began filing the left over polish from my nails and accidentally filed my skin around my nails, which when it occurred I informed her that it hurt and later that night I had two scabbed cuticles, and then when I went to pay I realized the prices had changed drastically and my $50 visit way now $62, I swore if I went back I would use someone different which leads to today.. I arrived and there was no one was waiting. I was given a number, well soon after three more people came in all who of which were all served before me. When I questioned why others that had come in after me were served first I was told they came in and got a number left and came back,which after talking to the prior customer before me I found out was not true, so I left. Hasta la vista Capri nails this is one customer who will never return. With terrible customer service and a mediocre expensive mani and pedi that hurt leads me to believe there are other better salons yet to be discovered read more

After being a customer for 8 years I had a horrible experience during a pedicure. Was injured by an overly zealous girl with a callous remover. Had to go to podiatrist for treatment. Please be mindful of what they use to remove callouses, and have them stop if something is not right. The manager tried to tell me that there was medicine where she broke the skin thats why I was in pain. Not good. This was the worst nail salon experience I've ever had by far if I could give it no stars I would. My nails look terrible and the girl who did my nails (whose name was Monica) was very rude, nasty, and rough on my fingers. She made my finger bleed and than kept going over the same spot that was cut and making it bleed more. She didn't take any sanitary precautions. She saw how my nails were when I came in (I like them fanned on the top and sharp) and said to me "you like them wide?" I said yes. She than continues and narrows them out. When I told her they were getting too narrow she took my hand roughly, ignored me and kept filing them the way she wanted. She was clearly agitated throughout the rest of the service and was very rough with my fingers which made me uncomfortable. She than starts painting my finger nails.. after she painted about 3 I had decided I did not like the color (already hating the shape of the nails I wanted to at least make sure the color was decent) I told her I wanted to change it. She ignored me and continued painting them, so again I repeated myself "is it too late to change the color?" She asks me what color I wanted to change it to so I showed her and she tried to paint it over the color that was already there and it looked bubbly and strange so I told her I wanted her to take it off and paint them all with just the color I wanted. She rudely said "if I have to take all of this off it's going to be an additional 28$" mind you I was getting a UV gel fill in and it was gel nail polish. I was supposed to get a pedicure than decided not to after how rude and rough this woman was and how much extra she had been charging me for a change of nail polish when I had told her early on I did not like the color. When she repainted my nails she was slamming the nail polish bottles and roughly pulling at my fingers. I cannot stress enough how appalled I am that she took her anger out on me physically and how she kept bluntly ignoring my wishes for the shape to be changed or the color and doing what SHE wanted to do while having an attitude. In the end I spent $90.00 for literally just a fill in (didn't even get my pedicure) and a terrible experience with a woman who had a horrible attitude and hurt my fingers. This salon is way overpriced, not sanitary, not professional, they change their prices based on how they're feeling about the customer and they were extremely rude. I would never recommend this nail salon to ANYONE. read more

Just left Capri after my first visit there. I had my 4 year old with me to get a mani/pedi. Mike did a wonderful job with my daughter and did not skimp on treatment just because she is young. Danny took care of me and it was less than acceptable. I have a prosthetic leg, so clearly I only need one foot massaged. However, the foot massage was non existent, and he only rubbed my calf for about 2 minutes. What's a pedicure without a foot massage?? During my manicure, he cut my nails down as short as they could possibly go, and cut my cuticles until I bled. I had asked Danny about a discount for my leg since he clearly didn't massage my one leg for a longer period of time to make up for it, he said he would, but charged me the full amount. When I approached the front desk about it, they argued with me, reluctantly threw $3 at me, and tried to rush me out the door as quickly as possible.
