My tour guide explaining where all the cheese comes from.

I love this place is amazing. I enjoyed the seafood stew. It was so creamy and delicious. I also tried the cheese plate from three different parts of Ireland. They come with a great and an olive savory and sweet together with the cheese. The perfect combination with my Pinot grigio wine. The owner's name are Maura and Bob. Delightful people to talk to in their Irish accent. The place was friendly and inviting.

Mom and pop owned and operated cafe in the Temple Bar area. Coffees and of course cappuccinos. Have a great meal and a Guinness or glass wine. They also have A/C to cool off on all 3 hot summer days! The staff was super friendly, and make sure to say hi to Bob behind the counter!

Cozy, casual corner café on a charming side street off the main busy street of Temple Bar area. I was on vacation and was referred to the Cappuccino Bar and discovered more than cappuccino drinks! Serves lunch and dinner with beer and wine. Enjoyed a delicious freshly bowl of leek and potato soup with Irish soda bread. The café makes the soup daily and offers a selection of four to choose from. So good that decided to return the next day and this time sat at a table outside. Savored a hearty and very tasty Irish beef stew with the traditional Irish soda bread. Found out from the owner slow cooks for hours which why was so tender along with the stews fresh vegetables. The beef stew is served in white porcelain crock pot with lid for a pretty presentation. Chatted with the very pleasant owner Bobby and his wife Maura whom owned the business for more than 20 years and he shared how everything is made fresh daily and prides himself in keeping the locals happy with his dishes. Special mention to the friendly waiter, Janser. Also offer free W-Fi. Would definitely recommend!

I would not go out of my way to go here, especially since the Joy of Coffee is just around the corner. Yes it's very centrally located, but I never have been a huge fan of their coffee and sometimes the service can be hit and miss. What they have going for them is a good outdoor area to relax and people watch. However, they do a good Irish breakfast deal, other than that I think their menu is overpriced for what you get.

The Cappuccino Bar markets itself as an authentic Italian establishment. That's baloney to be perfectly frank. Their food is decent, but a bit on the expensive side and is certainly nothing compared to what you get in Italy. They do decent baked potatoes though, and their hot chocolate is amazing, one of the best I've ever had in Dublin. The outdoors part is really cool, and you do get a chance to see some cool people meandering the streets, and the more fashion-conscious of the population making their way to the coolness of Urban Outfitters. It does have an alcohol licence which means if you feel like a beer but aren't in the mood for a pub, then this isn't a bad place to go. Just don't expect the food to blow your mind.

Since I don't eat red meat, I was very excited to see a vegetarian Irish breakfast option. I ordered this as well as a mocha latte. Despite the rain, my friend and I sat outside since all of the indoor seating was occupied. Thankfully some heaters provided warmth for what could've been a chilly breakfast. Very quickly the lattes came out which my friend and I sipped on. They were soooo cute, mine had the design of a little bear on top! The latte itself was hot and not too sweet, the perfect start to the experience. After a few short minutes, the food came out! Immediately, my friend and I dug in. It was honestly everything I expected and even more! There were no weak links on the plate and there were generous portions as well. I sat there for a while working my way through my delicious plate!! Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Beanhive. It was an aesthetic cafe that also provided a hearty breakfast. I would definitely recommend.

The first day we arrived to Dublin, I had a bit of a headache. I sent my husband in search of coffee and a bite in the hopes of warding off the headache. He brought back a tuna melt and mocha from The Bald Barista. Both were excellent. The tuna melt was herbaceous and flavorful and the mocha was the perfect blend or rich chocolate and strong espresso. So, a few days later when my mom arrived and was hoping for coffee and a bite, I said--I've got just the place! On that visit, we enjoyed our coffee and food in house. You order at the counter where you enter and if you're dining in, you simply take the stairs to the dining room and they'll bring you both your food and coffee. This time, I ordered the same coffee (why mess with a good thing) and a yogurt with everything (fruit, nuts, seeds--the works!). The shop itself is cute, warm, and inviting. The service is top notch with beautifully friendly folks working in here (including the Bald Barista himself). If you're in Dublin and are looking for an exemplary cuppa and some tasty bites served with a smile--this is your spot. Get to it!

They prepare and serve up coffee as a city better than any other city in the world. Sorry Seattle, Portland, its the truth. As a full fledge coffee nerd/snob I am looking for great coffee nothing more. Also if they don't roast their own beans and they are just serving someone else's coffee they will never get above a 3 star from me. I am looking strictly at the coffee and the customer service in my reviews. Accents was fantastic. When I walked in the Barista, a pretty little red headed Irish woman was doing some spectacular latte art on a Mocha, she smiled and asked me what I would like. I order just a regular Latte. They do not roast their own beans, but she was out of coffee in the grinder, she reached for a new sealed bag and I caught the name, McCabe's. I was unfamiliar so afterward I looked them up. here is the link if anyone is interested. (https://mccabecoffee.com) Local award winning Cork roaster. I watched the Barista, fill the grinder and then told me it would be a minute as she needed to dial in the espresso. I shook my head in a circle like I didn't get it but okay. She had it dialed in after 3 shots. looked like 18 in and 36 out. She was a pro, steamed my milk while the shot pulled in about 24 seconds. I ordered my drink to go but it was still presented with great art and a smile. Told me where the sugar and lids were but suggested I tried it before i added anything, that the espresso is very good. I tasted it and said, "You are right, needs nothing" and it didn't. BEST LATTE I HAVE HAD THIS TRIP TO DUBLIN. I am breaking my own rule here, I can because they are my rules, they don't roast but they use fantastic local Micro-roasted beans and prepare my drink to perfection. Don't miss this little gem the in Dublin. 5 Stars.
