Today, I asked both the counter person and the employee making focaccia sandwiches if I could buy a focaccia, and both said no. When I asked to speak to the manager, Lisa replied coldly with "we have rules" and then rudely ignored me while continuing her conversation with a sales representative. Despite explaining my experience, no one offered help or apology. The food is good but overpriced, and given the poor service and unpleasant atmosphere, I would not recommend this place.

Valerie and her aunt are the owners. I live in Markham but got to pick up my order in Thornhill, even though Valerie is based in Bolton. Valerie was prompt in answering my many many emails - I was humming and hawing over cookies or cupcakes, but decided on cookies because they travel and keep better. I am very excited to have found Valerie - she is one of these local gems that you won't be able to find on a Google search. Her style is tasteful and everything is delicious!
