Little Betty Steak Bar is easily one of the best restaurants in Birmingham. We've been multiple…read moretimes now, and they genuinely deliver every single time. Amazing food, amazing vibes, and amazing service from start to finish. And don't let the name fool you if you're like me and don't eat steak. There is SO much to love here. The burrata and Caesar are fantastic starters, the lobster rigatoni is incredible, and the chicken Milanese is insanely good. You genuinely cannot go wrong with the menu. Our waitress, Anna, was fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and made an already great experience even better! This most recent visit was another home run. They had a trial dessert on the menu, a lemon tiramisu, and it was hands down the best dessert I've had in a LONG time. Seriously incredible, and I really hope they make it a permanent menu item because I would come back specifically for that. Little Betty is one of those places that just consistently gets it right. We've been several times and have yet to have a bad experience. Birmingham is lucky to have a restaurant this good. Absolutely recommend!

Service is horrible.... Go to Armour House https://www.armour-house.com/…read more My food was VERY delayed. Had a $500 tab running and entree was 30 min after everything else was cleared. Manager offered a free app. When I told him that seemed light, he kicked me out. Not kidding.... Go somewhere else. It's a nice place, but with management like this it's destined to fail.

Just opened earlier this year, BSF is tucked away right off Liberty Parkway in a shopping center…read more Down the road from Publix and the many residential neighborhoods of Liberty Park, BSF should grow in popularity as a popular place to frequent. With plenty of parking, BSF's decor is comfortable yet contemporary with little hints of Thailand. There are unique "pipe" shaped lights, tall tables with stools, regular tables and booths that line an entire wall. I did not enjoy table service as I walked in to place my to go order. Although they had a steady stream of pickup orders, they prepared my to go order pretty quickly. Their 2 page menu includes a comprehensive list of thai and asian items. Apps include satay, papaya salad and shrimp gyoza. There's Soups, Warm Salads and Fish selections. There are 7 curry dishes each with the option of adding chicken, tofu, beef or shrimp. There are just as many Rice as well as Noodle options as well as Stir Fry. The variety seems endless for everyone's picky taste buds. Finally there's a dessert list as well. Calamari: Should be ordered in-house. By the time we sampled it at home, it had "toughened" and was a bit chewy. The accompanying dipping sauce was good. Chicken Satay: Chicken marinated with garlic herb, grilled on a stick and served with a cucumber salad and peanut sauce. Good flavor and delicious peanut sauce. Pad Khee Mao: The wide rice noodles stir fried in a sweet basil sauce with chili paste and carrots, onion, tomatoes and green beans was delicious! Yom Yom Yom. Neua Nam Tok: A warm salad with grilled beef in thai chili sauce with red onions, cilantro and tomato. Nice flavor and spicy. Tom Kha: Hot soup with sliced mushrooms, onions and tomato in a coconut broth. With the chicken pieces... delicious! Khao Kai Jeow: A thai style omelette mixed with minced chicken, scallions, chopped onions, garnished with cilantro. Never tried this before but was surprisingly tasty. Served with white rice. Khao Pad: Thai fried rice with egg, tomato, onion, peas, carrots and garnished with cucumber. Delicious. BSF is a welcome addition to the list of thai restaurants in the Birmingham area. The dishes that we have sampled have been on par or above and we look forward to dining in.

The coconut soup was sweeter than I expected and the soup had separated a bit. I had the chicken pad Thai and it was also sweeter than I expected and the noodles were much thinner than I'm used to having. My husband enjoyed his pad see ew. He said he would keep this place in his back pocket for quick lunches at work. Speaking of quick, we were in and out in 30 minutes, which I appreciated so much!
