Hidden gem! A bit unsuspecting from the street as it is tucked away in a small shopping center, but they do not disappoint! We didn't know much about 'Capps' until a few friends mentioned the shop to us with stellar reviews of their boys' haircuts! Feeling a bit burned out on the unreliable quality of the typical children's salons, we decided to give Capps a try. My husband went first and met Wisam, who he was thoroughly impressed with. Wisam is friendly and very talented at what he does. Since then, we have taken both of our boys (4 y/o and 18m) to Wisam. He is patient with the kids and works with their comfort level while still doing an outstanding job. He has gone out of his way to make sure our youngest isn't scared of his tools, and will give our 4 y/o son his phone to watch during appointments. Their shop is always clean and is inviting and comfortable for customers! Highly recommend! read more

Michael did a great haircut and beard trim on my son for his college graduation. I would recommend this barber shop to anyone!

Great hair cut, cool vibe, nice people and a fair price! Definitely recommend. What else can you ask for?

Abdul is apparently a "master" but I disagree... I showed up for my appointment since my other barber was out of town for the week. He asked if I could give him 5minutes, which I thought was for the bathroom. It wasn't he came back like smelling like a black and mild and smelled terrible. Then I asked for a bald fade just for him to not even make it a bald fade, nor his fade job was good at all. Had to tell him 2 times to actually fade it into the top and not look like Andrew Schulz going from a buzz to a 4... after the 2nd time I got annoyed and just left especially after he didn't get any of the neck hairs. Dude sucks, smells bad and can't comprehend anything. read more

Another great haircut! What I love is that all of the barbers are wonderfully trained and are experts at cutting hair!! You don't have to worry if your regular barber is booked up or off that day. You can have anyone at Capps cut your hair with full confidence that it will be done right. read more

I started going here after being loyal to another barber for awhile now. This place is great. The price is fair and the quality of the cut is great. I've used John a few times now, and he is great at what he does. Easy to book online, and they are ready to get started when you arrive. Definitely recommend giving the place a try. read more

So stoked we finally found a barber shop that knows what they are doing. I had yet to find a place we love since moving to Texas from San Jose, CA & today we definitely found where we will be coming from now on. April did an amazing job on my son's hair. She was so patient with him, he can be his boisterous 3 year old self at times & not everyone knows how to handle that. Kingston's hair turned out exactly how we wanted, we love it! read more

Shanon did a great job on my husband's hair and Bre did an amazing job on my trim! For a women's haircut in the Austin area it can be hard to find an affordable place that will just do a trim. Bre did a great job and was very kind! Cappelliera's (and Bre) will definitely be my new go to spot! read more

Took my son to get a haircut here today!! It's the first barber shop I've found in the area that can actually cut his super curly hair!! He loved the design. It was his first hair cut with a design. The prices are great. We will definitely be long time customers. read more

The best barbershop in Leander! The staff know how to cut hair and treat their customers. read more

Husband had a great hair cut, eyebrows shaped and ears de-furred this afternoon. He said the customer service was excellent and the barber rated excellent too! He could not recount his name but they had discussed that he came here from Kuwait . They greeted him and took his jacket for him and made him feel welcome. My husband said he will definitely return. The cost was $24 plus tip. It's tough to develop clientele out here in Leander. We are slow to respond to new places as it's taken such a long time for Leander to grow. It's a very nice salon and serves men and women. Hoping other locals will read this review and give Cappelliera's Barber Shop a try. Support local business!!!!!! read more

I decided to take my kiddo somewhere else to fix his haircut and after seeing how much time they took to really fix his hair I decided to contact this business and ask if a refund was possible. I got a call from the owner, and she wasn't happy that I posted a negative review and didn't return to have someone correct his hair. I let her know I wasn't comfortable with that, and had already had it fixed somewhere else. She told me she'd only give me a refund if I took my review down, and I said I would be glad to give it an update. She did refund the money, but she was so abrasive and downright angry at me about the entire thing. She was really only concerned with the review and not the level of service. I'm sure there's talented stylists here, just make sure they are capable of what you're looking for! read more

Do not come here. Absolute worst hair cut I've ever received and honestly disappointed, I never leave bad reviews but I have to this time. After barber being 20min late cutting my hair because he was taking his sweet time talking to the person he was with before me he decided to cut my hair as fast as possible, I timed him and he finished my hair in just under 7 min. The lady next to us cutting a guys hair was cutting his hair 15 min before me and she still was cutting his hair after I was finished. I got home to notice how lopsided and uneven and rushed my hair was, I look horrible. I can't believe I spent 32 bucks for this cut and even tipped the guy. I have to go somewhere else now to get this fixed and spend even more money. Really really disappointed and upset on how bad my hair looks now.. read more

I've never really known what "my look" was. I was always the kind of guy who just sat in the chair and left it up to the barber. Well, or at least I used to be - thanks to Champ the Barber (definitely a champ in my book), I now know a great new hairstyle that got me compliments from my friends and co-workers! Moving on to the business, the place is clean, the staff is friendly, the prices are inexpensive, and they offer a wide range of services. Overall I'm really glad they're practically right next door. Another two really nice call-outs are their excellent members program making services cheap and for once the newsletter is worth subscribing to. read more

I have lived in Central Texas area on and off all my life and I have never gotten a hair cut as good as I've gotten here. I've had my hair cut by both Erika and Josh. Josh has been my barber since he was flying solo with his own shop and, despite this new shop being a good distance further, I refuse to go anywhere else. My most recent cut was with Erika and it was just as good as any cut I've gotten from Josh! They are both superior barbers, but also super easy to talk to and hilarious. I always leave there looking and feeling better than when I walked in. Not sure if this will make a difference, but Josh has become a friend. He such a passion for what he does he's inspired me to attend barber school. tl;dr: If you get you hair cut there you'll refuse to get it cut anywhere else read more

Just moved to the area and decided to check this place out. Champ took me in as a walk in. He was funny, fast, and my wife loves the haircut. There are haircutters and there are barber shops. This one had a talented trio working today as efficient on the clippers as they were on the scissors. I'll be back! Thanks for making me feel a little more at home! read more

I booked my appointment with Marissa at 9am. Arrived at 9:02 and they told me I'm too late for my apt with her so Constance ended up doing my hair. 2 minutes doesn't seem like a reasonable time, if I were 10min late I would understand. By the time I got there at 9:02, Marissa already had another client in her chair. Seems to me as if they double booked that time slot and just went with whoever showed up first. Extremely unprofessional but I was 2min late so I decided to give Constance a shot. Unfortunately, this haircut was not up to par. The fading is not blended. You can see exactly where she took #1, 2, and 3 and didn't blend them all together.. I also had to correct her on the sides of my head that were completely uneven. Worse haircut I've paid $25 worth. Never coming back. read more

The did an awesome job on my kiddos hair. Now I don't have to travel all the way to Pflugerville to get my kiddos hair done.

Had an appointment with Champ who seemed to be their most reputable barber. When I got there he punt me off to someone else, got on the phone with someone and said he'd take them for his next slot in 15 mins. That was dishonest. I moved here from LA not too long ago. Didn't realize finding a good barber was going to be such a struggle. Haircut I received was only okay and nothing special - no line cleaning or offering, no razor usage. A bad haircut from time to time happens, but being dishonest immediately makes it so that I can't recommend this place. read more

Great customer service. Friendly and professional. Brought both my sons in and they're also great with kids. Chuck is our new guy.

Sometimes you find a business that isn't just good, its also got a wonderful group of people who work there and that makes the experience perfect. That's what Cappelliera's is. I went in to get a cut and a shave and I just loved it. My hair looks great, and the conversation was awesome. I got a chance to speak with one of the owners, Gus, about the barber salon, how he came into the business, how he sees the future of Leander and everything in between. The same goes for Trust, my barber who showed me what an experience coming to get a shave could be. I even brought my three-year-old along and they were cool as could be letting her sit next to me in one of the barber's chairs and watch. I've got a good feeling about this place (they've already dropped prices within a month of opening, and they are adding new services as we speak). I am pretty certain if you check it out you won't bother going anywhere else. read more

Got my haircut once, never went back. My barber sprayed hair spray literally right on my face, and it was intentional. He looked middle eastern, don't know if that's how they do it there, but my face was completely sticky and had to take a shower immediately when getting back home. Haircut was very decent, the experience and dullness inside turned me away for good. Go to roosters if you want to stay close to Leander area, you'll be much more happy with service last and decor. read more
