We have been coming here for YEARS, and today this place has completely changed and been not helpful for our food allergies. The server was literally yelling to the kitchen to stop asking for her while she was taking our drink order. She refused to give us an ingredient list for the meatballs for a family member that has severe allergies. The shrimp Alfredo was sour, it tasted like it was sitting out for a SIGNIFICANT amount of time. The temperature reading on the thermostat in our room was 83 degrees. Unbelievably uncomfortable and we will NEVER be coming back. If this doesn't change, this place will end up closing and give its business to many other better restaurants in the area.

Hand tossed pizza. Pepperoni with half spinach.

Coming from Chicago, I wouldn't call this place anything but average. Tasty, but average. There aren't a lot of pizza choices up in this neck of the woods however, and if you are craving it, Capozio's is probably one of the better ones. Just don't go in with large expectations and you will be happy. I'll order from them again in the future when i'm on vacation, but frankly i'd rather do some grilling and save myself for a really good pizza when i get home. (my kids were perfectly happy with the pizza. that counts for something)

    Spinach lasagna. So good!

Hadn't been here in over 15 years but my return visit did not disappoint. We were in late in the night but that didn't affect the service. Our waiter was a young man and he was very nice and attentive. I got the spinach lasagna and it was so good. Our table got the eggplant parm and the third got the cannelloni. Everyone enjoyed their food. I will not wait another 15 years before returning. It was worth the drive out!!

This was my first visit to Capozio's and it was fantastic. We ordered a deep dish pizza with sausage, pepperoni and mushroom and it was sooo good - perhaps one of the best I've had. I was a little disappointed with the size of my side salad but it tasted great. Our waiter Ignacio was attentive and friendly, he was also working the bar, and bussing tables and he never slowed down. Will definitely be back. A+

Best pizza around. Everything is great too. A lot of things are hand made. A lot of pride goes into the food.

Capozio's has my favorite local deep dish pizza. The staff is wonderful and ordering online is quick and easy which is nice during COVID.

My husband said, this is the best pizza around. He's probably been a customer of Capozio's since the 1950's. Mostly at Fairplain Plaza

We had to ask her to take our order after we got our appetizer. We had to flag her down for everything. Water, more drinks, salt & pepper. The check. The food was mediocre at best. My lobster bisque soup was so greasy & salty. Not a chunk of lobster for garnish or flavor. My Caesar salad was huge, but barely edible. Too much dressing that was sour & salty. Menu said it came with anchovies. I asked if they were in my salad because I didn't see them. She said, sometimes they are. I'm like, well are they? She offered to get me some, but was annoyed with me for asking. My friend's burrata wasn't good. Stale, flavorless bread. One tomato slice. No taste. My friend liked her gnocci, very rich. My husband's pork chop was ok. A little tough. He was happy our server had recommended the sauce on the side because it was spicy, even though the menu didn't say so. Overall, I'm glad I tried it. Won't be back again.

Wowww wow wow! I…read morewasnt sure what to expect when my friend suggested this place but I was thoroughly and pleasantly surprised. The "Detroit style" pizza really reminds me more of focaccia bread. It is SO fluffy and delightful. Unpopular opinion here but I typically don't consider pizza to be a "meal." It's something you eat when you don't have it in you to cook, and even if you get it in Chicago it's like...a last ditch effort at feeding yourself. BUT this feels like a meal. Like a treat. Like a schmancy lil indulgence you deserve. My friend is gluten free and I never in a million years would guess this is gluten free. I almost hope they didn't mistakenly put it on regular dough, for my friends sake. But if this is legitimately gluten free, I would gladly get it again even if I wasn't with a gluten intolerant friend. The artichoke pieces are massive, tender and tangy. The sausage is a bit strange, ground sausage instead of little lumps. And the mushrooms really top the "artesenal" feel. There's a cute little market with interesting delicacies and they have an incredibly diverse assortment of non-alcoholic beverages. The clerk did an amazing job of describing many of the options, took a lot of time making sure we knew what we were looking at. Definitely a connoisseur. Fabulous. A little pricey but, again, this is an indulgence. A meal. A quaint opportunity to relax and engulf yourself in fluffy, delectable fare that feels authentic and real. Not just ingredients tossed on a piece of dough for convenience sake. I look for to my next visit here!

They've got a great selection of pizzas in several styles. We tried both the thin-crust Roman style and the thicker al taglio. Both were good but the al taglio was fantastic! The crust was the best part, for sure. We got vegan pizzas (with really good vegan cheese!), but they've got a ton of dairy/meat options as well. It's nice to go somewhere that can serve everyone! There's also a really good little market of Italian products and wines, so you can do a little shopping too while you're here. I didn't have a sandwich but they've looked really good too. There's a nice dog-friendly outdoor patio as well for warm days. Emma Hearth and Market is a must-visit if you're in the area and worth a drive too!
