The title of this business is misleading. While they do have a large selection of windows and doors…read moreand other building supplies, most of their really cheap stuff is surplus that is stacked outside in the weather. It's only a few hundred dollars cheaper than retail, and most of it has some damage, bugs and debris and has been sitting in the weather outside. It's not stored properly. secondly, if you buy something that is "brand new but not used surplus, it's actually not much cheaper than Home Depot and it has no return policy. We bought a door and a window that cost us almost $2000. It was literally only a couple hundred dollars than Home Depot. we called them one business day later and said we needed to return the window because it was not gonna work. They would not allow us to return a brand new window that we had just bought one business day earlier. They did offer a store credit, but what good is that when you have a window that you cannot use? buyer beware. I would not buy anything from these people.

Their prices are fair, not knock down discounts but not overly expensive. The surplus stuff outside is around $100/per piece less expensive. I think my only down vote would be that they don't provide delivery but that is a minor inconvenience. I prefer to shop local owned and operated and Builder's Surplus is exactly that. I like this place and I like the people!
