Our General Contractor for a master bath remodel suggested Affinity Stoneworks as a potential…read moresupplier for our vanity countertop. We met the contractor at the showroom for our appointment. We met with Norris, who asked a few questions and he began showing options for us to choose from. We selected a Quartz slab for the countertop. When the time came to install the counter top, the Affinity tech came to measure and template for the Vanity and backsplash. The GC cabinet make was on site and assisted with the measurements, but unfortunately communicated an error to the Affinity technician. When it came some to install the countertop, the guys were very professional, on time and completed the install in minimal time. The custom storage towers we were having built were not yet in place, so the backsplash couldn't be installed at the same time. Our GC walked off the job when I refused to continue paying in advance for work not completed properly. It was several months before we had the towers installed and were ready for the backsplash. I called Affinity and explained the situation. They still had the uncut slab for the backsplash. They confirmed information and had someone come and measure, cut and install the same day! After reviewing their website I wish we had hired them for the whole remodel, versus the incompetent shysters we wound up with.

They were GREAT when they did my deck repairs. The Fence - NO!…read moreThe owner did not tell me he took another full time job and sent two 19 year old's out to do my fence. Over the 5 days they were there, the owner was there maybe 4 hours. I spent hours repairing, an FINISHING up what they did NOT do. All 4 of the hinges they installed did not line up with the horizonal braces so they "Bent" it around the 4x4. I had to add more horizonal braces and replace all 4 hinges. Had to add "3" pickets that they missed, and screw in at least 10 boards that were not nailed on all 3 cross braces. There is still another picket to add later. DECKS - YES! SUPER JOB! FENCES - NO!

My beautiful screened porch is one of my favorite areas of my house; and my most recent project, a beautifully designed arbor over my garage door, adds architectural interest to a boring side of my house. I have been trying for months to get my pool/patio deck…read moreresurface. Most companies had little experience and wanted an exorbitant fee. Only New Day Construction showed me that they could professionally and properly do the job. Dan Human showed me pictures of his previous jobs, quoted me a very reasonable price and was extremely professional throughout the whole process. Now my deck looks better then when it was first done. What a fantastic job this company did and I would certainly hire them again! I will be recommending them to all my family and friends. Wish there were more companies as outstanding as New Day.

Had to leave on star.... New Day Contracting lacks professionalism, respect and expertise in…read morerefinishing a pool deck. Not only did Dan Human leave our pool deck looking nothing like the sample he gave us due to improper preparation of the product and not following manufactures instructions. He cheated us out of a second coat by but says he "added more on the fist coat". This is not consistent with the lack of coverage all throughout the job. The base material was mixed incorrectly leaving the finished product pitting and cracking after just days. When Dan realized he ordered the wrong caulking he decided to apply it anyway and just "paint" over it causing the product to bubble, pop and remain sticky. With all the issues the final product was too rough to walk on. Due to not protecting our landscaping rocks we were left with product sprayed and dripped everywhere. not to mention the drips on our pool and liner. When Dan was asked to give us a letter of responsibility and clear summery of what he planned to fix and how he planned to do it, he failed to give us such letter. Dans overall verbal explanation of what would be done and when changed from day to day. He looked to only "fix" the really bad spot and leave the bad ones. It became very clear that Dan was unable to give us the product he sold us and assured us he could do. Dan offered us $1100 to cover the absolute mess he left us which was not even 1/3 of what it will cost us to complete the job. Note that Dan was sure to post pictures of our pool from a distance for advertisement and each time I leave a message that this job was left a mess he just "deletes" the comments and leaves the advertisement photos. There is nothing professional about Dan Human. You can see how poorly New Day protected our pool and landscaping and the huge difference between the sample and what we were left with. The pitting product and lack of coverage was just the bonus Dan left us with. DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY LEAVE YOUR POOL LIKE THIS.

I needed some updates to my kitchen and had some idea but not totally. The designers Jenifer and Justin were great in suggesting things and working with my budget. They tried to match it and almost installed it but I didn't want it because it was noticeably different. They decided to replace the bar top as well as the entire kitchen island with granite that I chose myself. They were also sensitive to my schedule as I had family from out of town arriving. They finished the day before and it was absolutely beautiful. I'll definitely work with them again as I have my master bath and closets to do next.
