Miles was great to work with in person and via telephone & text. I have high expectations for anyone I work with! Communication is a big deal for me and Miles met those expectations!! After placing a deposit we scheduled a dates and times. Everything went very smooth. This was a three day project. Day two was painting only. Juan Hernandez leader of the three man paint crew was very nice. They were a great team to work with. Everyone who enters our home comments on the beautiful stairs, right before they say they need to get theirs done! I recommend no one else besides Stairworx. In every regard, they are ideal. There is no reason to go anywhere else. We have a large spiraling grand staircase in our entranceway. 133 balusters. The balusters we had before were 15 years old, white, and scuffed and worn (the previous owners had two young children). We wanted something durable, easy to maintain, and elegant. They are exactly that! The transformation is remarkable. We had the wood floors redone and stained a dark cherry when we first moved in 12 months ago, so with this and the iron balusters, it looks like an entirely different entranceway! We found Stairworx online doing a Google search, and are very lucky we did! David was great to deal with. Prompt, professional, and descriptive. It's rare to find someone who is so on top of things, who simply gets the job done, and so efficiently it seems with ease. I've dealt with a lot of contractors, businesses, sub contractors, etc., and I genuinely wish everyone was like David. It would make my life much more enjoyable! (By the way, Home Depot is a nightmare to deal with on contracting jobs.) David was able to understand what I wanted right away, even though I had no expertise on the subject and had never done this before. And then he carried through exactly the way he said he would, and in our tight time frame too! The two men who came to install the balusters were polite, professional, knowledgable, and clean. They wore covers on their shoes, and put tarps down over the floor, and before they left they swept up (even though it was basically spotless already). They communicated clearly, and made sure they were installing exactly what I wanted before they began. It took an afternoon to install, and the result was absolutely stunning! Just had my two staircases done. They did an excellent job and both look great. They hand sanded my existing railing and treads so we could darken the color. read more

We changed the color of our hardwood floors and the wood railing for the main staircase had to be sanded and stained to match . David and his crew also removed the carpet for my basement stairway and installed new wood treads to match the floors . they did a fantastic job and it looks like it was always there read more

We found this company and initially had a good experience with David, the salesman. Once we gave David the deposit, it seemed that he dropped off of the face of the earth. We tried scheduling solid dates to get the stair banisters completed, but it took until we requested a refund for him to schedule us. It has been extremely difficult getting David to call us back when we have questions. The communication has been very poor. On top of that, the options given to us for certain things in the banisters were very limited. We will not be recommending this company to anyone. read more

Had all of our Balusters and Newels replaced from wood to iron on the main staircase and the whole outside front porch. Could not be happier! Front was replaced with what had already been there but new and sturdy, but inside the difference is amazing, going from the builders painted white wood to the iron, making such an updated impact on the house.
