While the building was beautiful and the interior was very cool. The security staff were just an embarrassment with regard to presence and or service. What a disappointment in comparison to the Amtrak Ticket agent specifically a gentleman named Rasheed. Talk about service and approachability and just a kind person he made up for the security staff for sure. Rasheed is the only reason I would give them a four star.

When going to the Sacramento airport, I usually travel out of Terminal B with Southwest Airlines. Flying with United Airlines out of Terminal A this time was a nice change-up from the usual, typical routine. PROS: * Variety of dining options available - Starbucks (1st + 2nd level), Magpie Café, Sidewalk Juice, Vino Volo, New Helvetia, West Coast Sourdough, Wendy's, Taylors Market, Centro Cocina Mexicana, and Escape Lounges * Ease of navigation - the terminal was unfamiliar to me, yet doable to navigate through * Main hub of these airline carriers: Air Canada, American Airlines, United Airlines, and Delta Air Lines. * Restrooms were well-maintained, presentable, and clean * Availability of seats near boarding gates CON: * The TSA line was super long and had a minimal number of workers Overall, it was a straightforward experience. I look forward to returning should I have any more flights outside of Southwest Airlines (Terminal B) and need to visit Terminal A.

American Airlines, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, and Air Canada fly out of here. I am flying with American Airlines going to visit family. It gets some used to since I am used to the B Terminal side with Southwest. It doesn't seem like there's as many eateries on this side. I saw Magpie Cafe, Wendy's, West Coast Sourdough, Centro Cocina Mexicana, and Starbucks. There's a Bar New Helvetia which is craft beers brewed in Sacramento which is pretty cool for the beer lover!! There's Taylor's as well. Oh! There's those market shops and other retailers. I see signs stating more eateries/shops to come. There's signs of remodeling, too. There's vending machine options as well. The bathrooms are always clean and spacious. I love the tall private doors. Inside the stalls are a nice ledge to put your duffle bag on and hang your backpack at the door. I don't like putting anything on the floor! When entering the airport terminal at American Airlines, you can check in at the kiosk or at the counter. Once done, there's escalators to go upstairs. You then walk over to the left in the overpass walkway. You'll see the TSA checkpoint. After this area is your shopping/eateries. Overall, I love smaller scale airports. It's easy peasy to get around. The very large ones may have everything, but it's a workout to get to the area you need to be. This is spacious enough that it deserves the five stars for efficiency and functionality!!

To get to Terminal B, you will need to take a tram from the main airport entrance. Standard TSA check-in at Terminal B can take a bit longer. Depending on passenger traffic of course, there can be a long line. If you have TSA PreCheck or CLEAR, then screening is quicker. Southwest Airlines has many gates at Terminal B so it can also be a good walk to the flight gate. But walking is good for you Lol

Do I know that my face is recorded a million times elsewhere but is it your job or your right to say that to me for no reason but just to "give it" to me? Her position has gotten to her head. Her commentary is unwarranted and uninvited. If you don't have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself. She said a few other things to put me down. The person in front of me and the person behind me were her race, and she was fine with them. Hence, my conclusion. I greeted her with a smile so it wasn't an issue with me. It was an issue with her. There are rules against travelers giving attitude to staff but what are the consequences for staff's unacceptable behavior to travelers? I think reform and accountability is needed. I wish there was a button we could press, survey we could complete or manager area at the end of the security section. It's unjust. I had such a lovely visit in Sacramento. It's truly unfortunate that the last person we see leaving the area is so crummy. The security personnel have the opportunity to not only keep us safe but to be welcoming. They represent the city, airport and this country. Integrity and quality of human matter. Be a human.

This station is fairly nice. It's the end of the line so when the train arrives, you have a few…read moreminutes before it leaves again. If you're parking here, it's $2 a day. There are homeless that lurk around, even when the station is busy with students. If you want to park in the parking lot closer to the light rail, on a weekday, while the college semester is in session, you'll want to get there before 8:30am. The parking lot is nearly empty on weekends.

The South Davis portion is a bit hidden. Behind some of the housing areas. Fairly recently spotted were signs indicating that this was in fact the Bike Loop. Previous markings were arrow type things on the ground which ended up confusing. Bring a bike- do the loop around Davis.

I can't remember honestly. My patience for yelp page set up and edits is thin. It doesn't like me. Knows I'm a troll probably. Anyway. This is the end destination for the Township 9 Green line (Westbound). I used to call it a terminus but walking dead changed that for me. From 6 am to 8 pm you can take this line from 13th street Downtown to Township 9 at Richards and Bannon in the River District. There are six Green Line stops: 13th street (downtown), Archives Plaza (which I tried to make a Yelp page for earlier tonight), 8th & O, 7th & Capitol, 7th & I/County Center (Jail), and Township 9. Archives is usually where I connect to/from the Blue or Yellow lines. It runs every half hour. It does not run on weekends according to the schedule I just looked up. You're welcome. I don't like that. Maybe as they continue to build up the River District it'll improve? This station is okay (as far as safety is concerned) during commute hours, but at night you're going to be bothered by random dudes. It's an eventuality. There's some nice apartments nearby but not a lot of businesses open after 5 around here. The two ticket booper machines are in an inconvenient spot for what is usually just a two car train since so few people ride it. Even during commute hours. There's not a lot of places to stand out of the rain if it's raining. The train will come into the station, drop folks off, then turn around and come to the other side of the street to let everyone on going back downtown. Remember it's usually two cars only so don't be on the wrong end of the platform or you'll have to move quickly. Do as the Romans do. This is my new stop if I want to ride green to my new office building or back. It works out decently unless the trains or bus is late and I miss a connection. Less of an issue coming from my midtown place but if I'm at my boo's place in land park that's a longer transit trip. Don't forget to boop your connect card at the blue machine before getting in or you could get a ticket. Which is real stupid but it's happened to me before. I did show up to court and get it dismissed since the cop didn't show and duh I have a monthly pass. Yay transit! Parking: not that I can tell. It is unclear who is allowed to use the gravel lot. I think it's for sacrt employees? There is some street parking if you get here early enough. Don't try to park in the CHP lot. The MLSOC state office building across the street has a parking garage further down Bannon street (behind the office building) but it's $8 daily.

The Davis-Berkeley shuttle is super convenient for students who want to go back home to the Bay…read moreArea. It costs $9.75 one way and gets you from the UC Berkeley campus to the UC Davis campus is about 1 hour and 15 minutes (that's how it's been in my experience). For me, I also have to add on BART fair, so it can cost at least $25 roundtrip using the shuttle+BART. I could get picked up, but it's easier on my family to have me commute, plus it's cheaper than taking Amtrak to Richmond then BART. At Davis you'll dropped off behind Shields Library so it's a short walk from the Silo and MU bus stations. At Berkeley, just walk up a few blocks on Shattuck and turn right on Addison or University Ave and that's where the pick up/drop off area is (Crescent Springer Gateway). In short, I really like this service. It's only available on the weekdays and spaces go fast during the holidays and Fridays/Mondays, so plan ahead.
