I was finishing up my sauna time at Lumos (the nearby infrared sauna studio - located a bit further into the same plaza) today, so opted to pre-order an iced pistachio latte + Impossible breakfast sandwich for post-sauna, curbside pickup. While I've been inside this store before (it feels like being in someone's cozy home rather than the more typical Starbucks setup), I appreciated the curbside pickup option during this era of coronavirus. After placing my order in the app (customizing my latte and all), I finished gathering my things, paid for my sauna time, and left the studio... only to drive the short distance to curbside pickup spot #2. I tapped the "I'm here" button in the app, selected spot #2 from the options, and a masked barista was out to deliver my order just a short time thereafter. So convenient! It's worth noting that I've tried the pistachio drinks from Starbucks a couple times now, and they always leave me wishing for more pistachio. This time around, my drink was made with a delightful amount of pistachio flavoring. My sandwich could have been a *wee* bit hotter, but the temperature difference wasn't really an issue (it was warm enough). Honestly, the only real downside I've experienced here is that they can tend to be either sold out or not carry some of the snack / food items that I want to order from time to time (and can find in most every other Starbucks). I would have added an extra breakfast sandwich to my order to enjoy later in the day, for example, but they didn't have any available (a turkey bacon, cheddar, and egg white sandwich).

It was my first pumpkin spice of the season which was delicious. 20 minutes for a pumpkin spice cold brew. The wait time said it would have been ready far before it actually was. Not a great job managing expectations. I understand finding help is difficult. That's ok, but give accurate wait times.

Once you know it's there, you never forget it! It can be incredibly busy and hard to navigate inside. That, and a lack of seating during the busiest times, are really my only complaints. There are a few seats in the main area, there is an upstairs (we love to take our food here!), some seats outside, and out in the mall. You can get free water, or purchase flavored drinks. There is usually always a small table with bread samples to try. The kids menu has been tested and approved by my daughter. You can pack your own "to go" upstairs, which I appreciate. We have tried the cookies and the brownies too. The cookies were a bit dry, but the brownies were excellent!

In the springtime, the chocolate macadamia is off the hook. Getting a drink there is worth it. Chetan and crew consistently make stellar hot drinks. Make sure you pick up a frequent sippers card or have them start a card when you buy a pound of coffee for discounts. Best chocolate covered espresso beans ANYWHERE (Andy's chocolate covered cappuccino beans are nasty in comparison). I even buy coffee beans to give to my employees, who get psyched when they smell their favorite beans. I don't particularly like shopping in malls. Like, Hi Chews, Pringles, Kit Kats, Chips are great... but I can get them most anywhere. I wanted more interesting items and was let down by what was available on the snack side of things. They have a buzzer system for table notification because seating is limited. (I wish we knew this prior to our first visit.)
