    This is a fancy BofA location in Closter Plaza. I had been here many times over the years to use…read morethe ATMs located outside. But this was my first time walking in. They have lots of parking around, some designated for bank customers only. The inside is very clean. The counter walls and counter tops have marble exterior. There are three advisor office sections. In the middle there's nice comfortable waiting area. I went in to do a withdrawal. Had to wait few minutes for the person in front of me to be done, as only one counter was open. The withdrawal was an easy and smooth process. Overall I was very pleased with the quality and service of this location.

Although a check was still processing, my account clearly showed the funds as available balance. Despite this, Anait and Sandra both refused to release my money and were extremely stubborn, offering no reasonable explanation or solution. I understand bank policies, but when funds are marked available, customers should be able to access their money -- especially when it's confirmed in the system. What makes this even worse is that I immediately drove to the Bank of America in Old Tappan, and they gave me the same $8,000 with absolutely no issue, confirming that the Closter branch was either misinformed or poorly trained. This branch is clearly inconsistent and lacks proper customer service and training. I will never return to this location and strongly recommend going to another Bank of America branch if you value your time and sanity.

I looked at him and had to ask are you going to help us or not? By the way, still no greeting from the young slickster. Does not even introduce himself, does nothing resembling customer experience at all. The manager really should can this guy. By the way there are three of them talking like it is a cafeteria so there is no reason to not greet or provide any customer experience whatsoever. Throughout the experience his facial expression is one of my brother and I inconveniencing him...All good. I will keep this review alive... Hopefully the manager is better than this...You don't need an employee like this to bring your scores (CSAT) down. Apparently, my brother went to the Chase on Route 4 which had a really pleasant staff and provided a higher level of experience and service. If I could give a zero I would...Thankfully my brother chided me to hold my tongue while we were there as I was ready to go into full "get me someone who knows how to work with customers professionally" mode. To the manager get this guy in the front cube out of your branch...Piss poor in every way possible. If I could have given a negative score I would have.

    I've been a Chase customer since the 90's and my visit on this particular day is further reason to…read morebe a customer. I have been in need of a safety deposit box for a while now. I had thought I was on a list with another branch and forgot to inquire about them at this particular location. I called at 11:40AM and asked and was told "Absolutely we have ones available, what time would you like to come in?" I was told that the representative had a few appointments and whatever worked for her would be fine, I was told 1PM. That's not bad! I went in was done 20 minutes later. The representative that was supposed to help me was tied up with another client and someone else helped be, but he was equally as helpful and very friendly. Most of that 20 minutes was spent just BSing about things. Sure banks are businesses and will bend over backwards to get your money, but there's customer service and then just people that don't care. These people are very friendly and you can tell that they're genuine, not faking it to make you feel good!
