Came here for a bridal party event to play some paintball. Definitely a cool set up, lots of fun spaces to play in. The staff was a little unorganized, but they were really nice and helpful when they were around. Lacks a decent bathroom. And the regulars there for airsoft were rude, but not the fault of the space. read more

Place was pretty much a joke. Some of the rules were dumb. Nothing to measure the speed of the guns so the people that brought their own guns were shooting real fast. There was little kids that were playing, no need to have you gun shooting so fast. The staff was alright. A few decent guys and a few guys that were kind of attempting to intimidate people kind of. It was weird. Zero shade at all. All the tables are in direct sunlight. Bring a tent or something to sit under. The fields were trash for the most part. There was a bunch of hardo's that seem to go there every weekend. They're not talented they just have expensive guns that shoot straight. And they know there is nothing to measure speed, so they turn the velocity of the gun all the way up. Most of them are afraid to be hit with a paintball so they just sit as far back as they can and try to hit you with their sick guns. If you plan on going, just know the rental guns don't shoot straight. read more

Capital combat zone! It's name say it all. Imagine the football field, and now imagine it with different structures from castles to military bases to the Oldwest and even the camps zone. Let's not forget the woods. Lion, and tigers and paintballs oh mine. This is what you will see, the survival of the fittest. As several teams compete to win the top of the mountain. CCZ that is what it's all about and more. This is a field that you can call a wonderland. If you ever upstate and want to let go some steam. This is the place to be. This place is by far the worst, smallest, and most incompetently run paintball place I have ever been to. We had a private group of 17 guys there for a bachelor party. We got there at 10 AM, we left at 3:30 PM, and we played 5 ten-minute games of paintball. The waiting was the worst part. They only had two paintball fields in the whole place. So practically speaking, they could only have two groups playing at a time. Sometimes we had to wait for other groups to be finished with their games. Sometimes we had to wait because the only guy they had filling air was the ref that was supposed to be with our group. Sometimes we had to wait because our ref was nowhere to be found. The most infuriating time we had to wait was because they stopped all paintball activity to have a little kid shoot our ref with an airsoft guy while two other refs watched and laughed. No joke - we were there for five hours and played five games. There was no shade whatsoever, so we're literally standing in the sun for an hour while the staff is goofing around. And every time we told him, we're ready, let's get out there, he (the guy's name was supposedly "Squid Bird") he would say "it'll be just a few minutes." One time I counted - during a one-hour wait, he said "a few minutes" five times. The rental equipment was an absolute nightmare. The masks don't stay on your face because the elastic is completely worn out. Some of the masks were missing the foam cushion around the eyes so the plastic dug into your head. The masks were so scratched up and cloudy that it was tough to see out of them. Everyone's paintball gun was dirty. Every paintball hopper was coated inside and out with slimy paint. Every barrel was covered with it inside and out. None of the rental guns shot anywhere close to straight. They have one port-a-potty which was so full that there was a mountain of waste piled up and coming out of the water. Our ref also took it upon himself to change the rules mid-game, which was very surprising when he told one guy who was "dead" to come back in the middle of the field behind three people and shoot them all in the back. There are two fields, and we played every single game on one of them, even after we asked to play on the other one to get some variety. Their chronometer was broken, so they couldn't test the guns that people brought themselves, and I saw one girl bleeding because she had been shot by a gun that was shooting too fast. All in all, this place was run by absolute clowns, the equipment was crappy, and the facilities were disgusting. Having been to at least four other paintball places, this one was the worst by a long shot. I couldn't recommend this place to anyone, whether you're a paintball pro or just a bunch of guys wanting to have a good time. read more

It was my first time going to capital combat zone and my buddy took me i was a newer player to the sport and didnt know much about paintball guns so i was out playing with my gun and it just started leaking air so i was in the back and the refs took me off the field because they saw i was having problems and we were getting shot at but the ref blocked me and took all the shots then we get off the field and a staff member named mike asked me what happend i explained and he was working on my gun for free replaced what had to be fixed and also said if my gun did not work he would let me use his 160r which is the nicest thing ever super amazing place for paintball will always go back thumbs up for me 100% read more

First time playing paintball and it was really fun while it lasted. Each game is 10minutes long and the staff spends 20 to 30min before each game, making us stand and listen to their terrible conversations about their life. Also it would be great if they didnt exhale their vape right into our faces. Also you have to buy paintballs and it costs money to use their equipment. There are no waivers also so feel free to sue if you get hurt. They treat regulars with more respect and let them play for free. The battleground was very hazardous with wasps and rusted nails everywhere. I also notice that the entire place smelled of raw sewage and the staff did not care about anything. This seems to me like a bunch of bad management or ownership. read more

Easily the biggest concern was that I didn't feel entirely safe playing paintball at a place that didn't have a working chronometer. I saw players with broken skin and major welts from being shot and in my time playing paintball I've only seen those kinds of things when guns were found to be shooting hot. Truly dangerous for a place to not even be able to check the safety of guns on their field. The place itself is small, with only two fields and a single, heavily used, portable toilet. This leads to very long wait times between games in an area with no shade or seats and a lot of repetitiveness with seeing the same field over and over. The equipment is also atrocious with masks that are hard to see out of and guns that are dirty and inaccurate. Lastly, as a person who cares about teaching people (especially children) how to handle guns safely, I was surprised that the "safety talk" made no mention of muzzle awareness, the use of the safety, or the idea of keeping your finger off the trigger until ready shoot. Relying solely on barrel socks is plain foolish and unprofessional. TL;DR :: Unsafe. Unprofessional. Repetitive. Long wait times. No shade. No seats. Bad equipment. Disgusting toilet. read more

This place is not legit at all. They have awful equipment and an even worse staff who cares more about playing for themselves than the guest. All the games were very very short and the waiting time was absurd in between games. Everyone seemed to blame someone else for the problems going on. The only plus was the course was pretty cool, but we only got to play one course the entire game. read more

None of us are experienced players but we had a great time on the scenario field for a kids birthday party of sons and dads. We played with other people who were there instead of trying to run just our own group which kept the waiting down but there was a good 15-20 minutes between games. The structures have a lot of variation and the games are fun and the refs do a pretty good job monitoring play. The rental equipment was in working order and seemed to be in reasonably good shape. Now understand that this is not some air-conditioned event space or laser tag arena, it's a huge outdoor field. There is no paved parking lot. The facilities are spartan: a tent with some tables and benches, a porta-john, and the rental/vending hutch. There is no water service or reliable food vendor so plan accordingly. There is no shade outside the tent. Only one scenario game can be played there at a time. read more
