Thankfully, the one I picked was in stock in my size (they only had two pairs total in that style... so I really got lucky). When I asked about selection I was told that they never know what it coming in on the truck but they can look at other stores and have them shipped to me for an additional fee. This place reminds me of a shoe closeout store, but I dunno. These shoes don't feel like they will last forever and they certainly aren't Italian leather, but for $40 they are a good stop-gap until I find the perfect pair of shoes (and those likely won't be from this store). Store is easy to navigate, clean, and everything was stocked. Good area and staff was nice to interact with. With Hailey going above-and-beyond to ensure we have a super-positive experience in getting the discount we qualified for, it hit all the right points to make the experience perfect. Stopped by the Front Desk manager to tell them the same and they said to fill out the survey on the receipt-- did that, too. Smallish leather wallets from a brand I had never heard of were between $65 and over $100! I went to TJ Maxx in Latham and got one for $25, also genuine leather and Fossil brand. I will say the customer service here was excellent and the store is conveniently located In Stuyvesant Plaza, but wow, the prices were astonishingly high!

The outlet store was always kind of hit or miss on good prices. If you haven't been in a J Crew, it is a very similar style to what Gap and Old Navy carry. The clothing is all quite nice and they do carry many classic and timeless styles. This store does carry more than just clothing. I spotted apparel for men, women and kids. They also had a small jewelry section, but I would suggest checking our nearby Charming Charlie's because the prices may be better. I also noticed a small table of women's shoes, lots of basic flats, but all were very cute. This store might be worth checking out if you don't want to make the long trek over to the Lee Outlets. I spotted many items at 40-60% off and the true bargains are found in the back of the store. Prices aren't bargain basement cheap, but they are reasonable for this particular brand.
