For such a large shoe store on the outside, they don't have as many shoes as you would expect on the inside. There are other things in the middle of the store like clothing and work gear. I found many different styles of dress shoes at really great prices, but for the exact type I wanted they only had two choices. Thankfully, the one I picked was in stock in my size (they only had two pairs total in that style... so I really got lucky). When I asked about selection I was told that they never know what it coming in on the truck but they can look at other stores and have them shipped to me for an additional fee. This place reminds me of a shoe closeout store, but I dunno. These shoes don't feel like they will last forever and they certainly aren't Italian leather, but for $40 they are a good stop-gap until I find the perfect pair of shoes (and those likely won't be from this store). It is convenient to get in and out, and their prices seem fair. If you go in with low expectations or an near-empty wallet you may be pleasantly surprised. read more

Always drove by this store but never went in. Guess it was the name, maybe, I don't know. Well, I found a 20% off coupon in the paper, and after looking online, it seemed like a place to check out. Plus, I was in real need of some new shoes. I was pleasantly surprised. Really nice selection of all the brands I like; Deer Stags casual dress shoes, Nike running, Skechers, and nice selection of winter boots. Price was not bad, and finding size 13, which is usually difficult, was not difficult here. It was slow for a rainy Saturday evening, but perfect for me. Enjoyed having whole store practically to myself, and just casually trying on different shoes with no fuss. Got two pairs of dress shoes, and new running shoes for $99 after coupon, which saved me $25. I can't complain about that, and will be back to get some winter boots later, after I find another coupon in my Sunday paper. :-) read more

I did not have a super experience here. My mom orders a very specific brand of casual shoes in a wide size. I brought her here because she hoped she might find that brand of shoes, in her size, at a reasonable price. To sum it up: No, no, and no. No luck on that particular brand, no luck on wide sizes of casual shoes she liked in general, and no luck on the prices. To their credit, this store has an excellent line of shoes and uniforms for nurses. But I have no clue how reasonably priced they are. Back to shoes - I decided to check on their selection of New Balance sneakers, a brand I try to buy frequently. I liked the selection, but nothing more. First, what the heck are PREMIUM walking sneakers, and what makes them premium. Second, $105? Really? And the "sale" prices, listed as $10 off, were not competitive. I found better deals on the same sneakers at Sears across the street, and I can get even better deals when Kohl's has them on sale. I was looking online and in stores everywhere for a gift. I found it online at superstores.com I ordered a men's wrangler sherpa lined denim jacket. The jacket is nice enough, although I estimated the wrong size. I have the receipts and shipping info to return it and get a full refund (within 30 days) or exchange. I wish I would've known they do not pay for return shipping. These days, that's a must!!! That's why I will not order here again. The people I communicated with via email were okay, just a little condescending about shipping. Shipping costs $13.91 to return an item!!! Zero Stars! I never in my life have felt more shamed as a pregnant woman. I bought scrubs and was told if returned for a redound I needed to have the tags on. Makes sense to me, however I'm 22 weeks pregnant so when I tried the scrubs on in the store, they felt fine and 2 hours into my work day (not in a hospital or clinic) I was very uncomfortable. I returned to try for store credit and they said they couldn't offer me anything, and then they offered me only half credit for the scrubs. I couldn't even get full credit to order maternity scrubs. Never again will I set foot in this store! I can think of a million other places I would love to give my business. I've haven't felt more uncomfortable as a pregnant women in all my life. Shame on me for growing a belly and being uncomfortable. I guess that's MY problem. read more

I needed some mens boots for my son and I stopped in.At first everyone was polite until I needed to check out. Emily (one of the managers) was cashing two Caucasian women out she seem friendly and professional...SEEM? When I stepped up she first asked did I have an rewards card I said no.So she decided to cash me out when she gave me the total I asked did it include the 5% discount that I noticed all over the store.She replied no that's only with the rewards card so I asked how can I get a card ?At that time she turned and grabbed the card and proceeded to sign me up...I feel like I should have been asked if I wanted to join at the beginning of my transaction!!! After the purchase of a men's 11.5 shoe she pushed the box over to me . It's common sense when there's no one else in the store to great your customers. I've been here twice and they are so involved in their registers they can't look up and even make eye contact. When you ask a question so simple as to "can I bring more than 6 things in the dressing room" the girl won't even Turn to acknowledge you're speaking. I've been here a few times and I've never had a bad experience. I love buying boots for fall and it's starting to get cold so I went and bought a pair , tried them on and loved them! BUT the next day I went to work and found out they weren't so comfortable and they made my feet hurt(I work in retail) and they seemed like maybe I made a mistake and they were a size too big as we'll. I wore them one day and didn't wear them for a couple days until I could bring them back and hopefully get a different size. So about 4 days later I went back( today I went back) and I went up to the counter,bag in hand, and asked the lady at the front desk if I could set it down while I looked for a different size, she said okay. I went and tried on a size smaller and they fit perfectly! I was so happy and then I'm walking back and the lady stops me and basically screamed " yeah uhm those we're worn outside" while she looked at me in a nasty way, I was of course embarrassed because people starred at me but also because I didn't know I couldn't exchange them after being worn for literally a day. And I walked behind her and she threw my boots back in the bag and pushed it across the counter and didn't say another word to me. She was so rude and it's dissapointing, customer loyalty must not be of importance to them.. They could have taken them back and marked them down 10% and lost what ? 5$, it's sad...I work in retail and I have for years and that is very poor customer service read more

I was in the store Tuesday evening and the associate who rung up my purchase was just rude and unfriendly. I was in again on Wednesday to return the purchase and the associate was not friendly either. She argued with me because there was a little dirty spot on the uniform which was there when I made the purchase and she bluntly refused to take the merchandise back. I stopped in this shopping plaza to go to Empire Wines (which is awesome) and I saw this shoe store. I have been looking for new shoes for awhile, so I decided to check them out. There were 3 people at the register when I walked in and one of them said hello and pointed me in the direction of men's shoes when I asked. That was the end of the helpful service at Super Shoes. I actually found a pair of Skechers that I really liked, were comfortable and reasonably priced. I had been in the store for about 10 minutes. There was ONE other customer in the store as I proceeded to the checkout at the front of the store. There was no one there. So I stood there for about 30 seconds thinking that someone would see me and come help me. Nothing. So I called out to ask if anyone could help. Still nothing. So in a louder, almost yelling voice, I said that I want to purchase some shoes! A girl then came out of the women's section and proceeded TO WALK TO THE BACK OF THE STORE! I put the shoes on the desk, took a picture of the label with my phone and walked out. They lost a $50 sale and many future sales even though they had a nice selection of shoes. Absolutely the worst shoe shopping experience I've ever had. The owners of this store should thoroughly retrain their staff to better help customers or fire them. Don't waste your time going there. Ridiculously overpriced and terrible customer service. I used to recommend this store to friends and fellow healthcare workers because of the decent selection of scrubs, but after the past couple experiences there I will never go back. I honestly feel like they go out of their way to be as unhelpful and as unfriendly as possible. I don't mind spending a few extra dollars for high quality or excellent customer service but this store does not offer anything I can't get for a better price and experience anywhere else (and the price mark up is much higher than a few dollars at comparable places) not worth the trip- even if you are next door at Target! read more

Terrible customer service. I was returning shoes that were purchase by my sister with my card on Black Friday. I had authorized my sister to use my card through the credit company for that day bc she didn't have the funds in hand to spend and would pay me back. As I walked into the store there were 5 ppl waiting at check out for at least 5 minutes after I walked in. Finally when 2 employees come to the register I explained I wanted to exchange the shoes. The employee asked if I had a receipt I Told her no. She AUTOMATICALLY looked at me in disbelief. I explained to her I was just looking for a even exchanged bc the shoes didn't fit. Without even helping me or telling were I cold locate the brand she told me I could go look to see if they had my size. I looked didn't not find my size and brought up a shoes (different brand) for the same price as the shoes I brought in. She asked the name on the card that bought them I told her it was originally my card but I had let my sister use it on Black Friday. Then she told me that I couldn't exchange the other brand for that brand bc they were 1/2 off on Black Friday. I understood and when back to look for the same brand at the same price. I was unable to find them. She never offered to look at another supper shoes for me I as to ask if she would. The first thing that came out of her mouth was "well, there's a fee." I said ok could you please look for me. She stated she looked I was so disappointed with the overall service and assumptions that I could tell just by the way she was looking at me I just took the shoes I had plained on exchanging and left. My sister came to exchange a pair of scrub bottoms that were clearly marked incorrectly by the company that made them (not Super Shoes fault). Immediately when we came into the store they stopped us and rudely asked if we were making a return. We politely said it was an exchange so we needed to grab a new pair first. When checking out, my sister told them that the pants were not marked correctly, so that they could avoid putting them back out for someone else to buy and have to return. The girl who processed the return snapped back that my sister "had an attitude" and that it "wasn't their fault." This employee made everyone uncomfortable, as my sister was not being rude in the slightest; she was telling her in order to avoid them having the same issue again. Bottom line, you don't treat customers that way. Even if a customer isn't being pleasant, which was not true in this case, you simply cannot behave that way as a retail employee. Highly recommend not shopping here unless you are a glutton for punishment and want to be treated with disrespect. read more
