A child is on a zipline in a wooded outdoor adventure park, wearing a harness and helmet for safety. The park features wooden platforms and bridges among tall trees, with other children visible in the background. The ground below is covered with dirt and fallen leaves, and the scene is set in a forest environment.

So much fun! My son loved it! Haleigh was our guide and she was great. Super nice and very patient with my son. She even got him to do the 40 foot free jump and he was so scared but adored it. Although it was 2.5 hours away from us, we would go back! Tons to do. We were there for 2 hours but there was more to do that we didn't get this time but will definitely try out next time. Recommended!

We did 4 courses! Totally awesome experience.

We found the groupon deal $59 for two. It came with the treetop 3hr challenge. I'm sooooo happy we did it! The entire experience was awesome. We truly appreciate the time spend on safety, showing us how to use the keys locking in etc. It was our first time zip lining and after a few obstacles we were settled and comfortable to keep pushing. We felt totally secure knowing that at all times were were safely connected to something. I told a few friends about it and we just might be making another trip. Big s/o to Kevin one of the instructors. He totally stuck with us the entire time and even became our cheerleader when we thought we couldn't make it through an obstacle. A+++

What an AWESOME time, myself and my group of 5 girls had here!! The staff is A+ fantastic. We felt very safe and secure. 2 of the 5 of us were very nervous but they put us at ease and we tried our best. Chuck, Haylie(sp) and the other staff really made our experience great. Chuck made a point to really be patient and kind and extremely encouraging. We will return and finish the course. Thanks guys!!

What's more is, I was "that lady" who brought a waterproof phone protector with a neck strap to take pictures with my family and friends. I was also "that lady" who took the neck strap off to avoid tan lines...needless to say, my phone went into the Hudson River without me realizing it! Ethan and his crew were so kind during my personal meltdown, mostly due to me kicking myself for being so careless. They had a group of 80 after us, but assured me they would all look out for it as they had an idea where I dropped it. We called every half hour in the hopes one of the other crews may have discovered the phone, and at 4:50, my husband's phone rang with the amazing news that the phone was found safely! All 3 of our guides looked and I cannot express how grateful I am to them all!! Personal tragedy aside, our entire group said the lazy river was the best part of our trip, and we have already recommended AAC to friends who are traveling to Lake George in the coming weeks! If you're looking for a fun and relaxing way to spend a morning or afternoon, this is a definite must to check for your list!

This year they have a guide climb with you whereas in previous years they were on the ground for help also. Both ways is totally fine, having one climb with you also has its advantages as well cuz they can help you with the obstacles with personal instructions and new this year they even take some pictures for us in the trees which was awesome especially if you don't have a GoPro or something yourself to take pictures with. I'm heading back with friends in August for some more fun!! They took safety precautions for COVID like masks, gloves, limited group size, etc. During these COVID times and all the restrictions in place some places are struggling. Just wanted to shout out & spread some positivity. I will definitely come back the next time I go to

We had an incredible guide, she gave us so many tips and tricks along the way. We ended up doing 5 trails in total- the were so challenging and fun at the same time! Especially, the ascending oak trail was amazing. All the trails ended with a zipline- a very nice way to finish the trail. Each element was so sturdy- even with my fear of heights, I felt safe. The equipment was very secure and strong. This was the highlight of my day!

We first did the low course, and then all except one member of our group opted to continue on to the high course. We had previously done the canopy tours at Adventure Park at Storrs and Treetop Adventures, and we all felt that this course was more challenging. We spent about 1.5 hours completing both courses. We all felt very safe here, and were given excellent instructions on how to clip in and out. The staff was really helpful and the equipment was well maintained. Be sure to make a reservation - it does fill up on summer weekends!

A Day to Remember at Berkshire East!…read more My granddaughter and I shared an unforgettable adventure zip-lining at Berkshire East today. From the very start, the staff brought humor, warmth, and professionalism to our group--making everyone feel comfortable and well-prepared. Their friendly approach and clear guidance helped ease any nerves and turned doubt into excitement. At 73, I'm in reasonably good shape, and my granddaughter is 18. While there's a bit of hiking between each zip line, only one stretch--leading to the final run--was truly challenging. It's a steep uphill climb with few chances to catch your breath. I didn't hold up the group, but I'll admit I haven't tackled a hike like that in quite some time... so consider yourself warned! That said, I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Sharing laughs and thrills with my granddaughter created memories I'll cherish forever. I wholeheartedly recommend this adventure to anyone looking for a healthy dose of excitement, connection, and joy.

Very beautiful area. After a brief safety video and briefing, we were given our rafting kit, loaded on buses, and brought up river to the raft slip, this was about a 30 minute trip north west. The raft trip ended across the street from where we started. An easy exit, we got out of the boat, returned our kit, and walked across the road to watch the video, and purchase souvenir photographs. We had an excellent day on the river during our 10 mile trip. My 14 year old son and I did the Zoar Gap trip which took most of the day with an hour break for lunch at a nice riverside picnic ground in the mountains. You can bring your own food( appropriately packaged) if you would like. They store it in a water proof bag and stow it on the raft. If there is even a hint of rain or you just don't want to get completely soaked, bring a three season jacket or rain coat. Also, you will be out on a river dress accordingly. NO open toed shoes! This includes flip- flops. You can rent shoes and wetsuits. If you have any medical issues like allergic reactions etc. I would either bring your own Epi Pen kit and medications with you, and stow it in the water proof bag, or possibly think about finding a less isolated outdoor experience. Be warned, white water rafting can be physically strenuous. The only issue I had was the lunch that was provided. Not that it was bad, it was well packaged and pre-made( not to order). If you have food allergies or don't like mayonnaise bring your own food. Zoar Outdoor is not really able to accommodate food allergies or pickey eaters. Mayonnaise was on every sandwich. I don't know why. They could just have provided packets on the side but they there were none available. My son hates mayonnaise so he only ate the chips, pickle, and cookies provided which got him through the remainder of the trip but not exactly a great lunch. One man we were with had a dairy allergy. I'm pretty sure he was not able to eat any of the food. I'm not sure why he didn't make sure a head of time if he could eat the food.I wish I had known the sandwiches had mayonnaise on them a head of time. Not a huge deal, we got over it. The trip was super fun! I would love to go again and will definitely choose Zoar Outdoor again.
