I regret not taking his name for this review but, 'The Guy' (you know who you are) was very pleasant and attentive. His station was some ways away from our lane. Despite this, anytime we ran into trouble (e.g. when a pin got stuck) he already spotted it and promptly started working on resolving the problem. There were a lot of attendees but the venue didn't feel overcrowded or uncomfortable. Everyone from the teens to the seniors was well-behaved and had a grand time. The venue was clean (including the male bathroom) and lively. Both the bar and the mini restaurant were open. We ordered fries and chicken tenders. We received our meal quickly and it tasted well. Right after I got there A man walked up to me at our table and said very RUDELY " you gotta be out of here at 4:45 we have another party coming in, so get your kids shoes and get them bowling "! The point in having a party at a place like this is so you have time to enjoy yourself but we didn't because we couldn't! From being rushed out the door right after you arrive, they don't give you a hostess, they didn't even give the children FOOD or DRINKS untill 4:15!! We had to buy drinks from a vending machine!! Any time we needed something we had to wait to get help, and most of the time we had to hunt the employees down because they were in the back room! Every time we asked for help or needed something we were treated poorly! Spoken to with attitude and sarcasm! I was told each child would get a pass for a free game of bowling (we didn't get them)! Now I have to drive 25 minute to go pick them up! I can't even give them to most of the children because they live over an hour away! The pizza was over cooked, like to the point it was rock hard! How do you give that to a toddler??? We weren't given any utensils, we had to hunt them down ourselves, they didn't give us enough cups, plates or napkins! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! I'm so unbelievably disappointed with this place! We paid WAY TO MUCH FOR THE LITTLE BIT WE GOT!

The parking is plentiful and the staff we dealt were friendly. Going with kids was super easy. We didn't get any food or drinks so I can't speak to that but we will definitely return, possibly for a birthday party!

For two games and shoes, the cost came to about $80 so I only had to pay about $10 out of pocket. With COVID, they have shower curtain barriers between each lane - they were a bit distracting and I wish there was an option to remove them for groups that bowl together, but I appreciate the safety efforts. Funnily enough though, there were tons of people there for bowling leagues not wearing masks or social distancing (just an observation, not necessarily complaining). There were 3-4 times where the lanes got stuck (the pins weren't being removed) and we had to get help. Otherwise, we had a great time! The place was pretty clean and there were lots of friendly and helpful people around. I'd definitely go again!

So the starter said looks like the other two are not coming....So we go up to get ready and tee off and right at 12:21 he goes. "There's your other two-some" I told him I am not waiting I scheduled for 12:22 and I was a half hour early because golf etiquette you don't run up to the tee box AT the time. We typically go up to Rob and Deb's in Glens Falls but Dan's is closer. What a disappointment. I'm not sure if it was Dan that served us or he had just found the most miserable, rude " I don't want to be here." staff member out there, because that is what we got. He was sullen, snippy, rude and actually seemed like he resented us being there. Huge turn off. We ordered 3 small ice creams, and they were indeed small! Definitely not reflective of the price, which was more indicative of a larger size. I was disappointed, but the snippy service we had received prior to actually getting the ice cream left a yucky taste anyway. We will not be going back, and will instead continue to drive to an alternative. Maybe Guptil's, which is also nearby. These days, with so many other options, service and being polite to people is key. An older couple arrived shortly after us and he was equally rude to them. The one star is because we did actually get ice cream. I'd give zero stars for service.
