My friends and I started going to Uncle Sam's every Wednesday night this spring semester and the…read moreoccasional Sunday night. You can't beat the deals. It's gotta be the cheapest bowling around ($1 games and shoes and $6 pitchers of Busch). That being said, it's certainly not the fanciest place around, but when it comes to bowling, I prefer the homelyness. They do the lanes and rebuild the machines every summer, so it's fairly well kept up. There's a snack bar in the middle with great deal prices and a full bar by the door in a separate room from the lanes. Food wasn't anything special, just super cheap, greasy snacks, but that's all I would ever get at a bowling alley. Great regular staff, except for one dark-haired bartender on a Sunday that looked like she would rather be anywhere but there. The blond bartender with the short hair is great and she's usually there at least on Wednesdays. The older man (I want to guess the owner) who works Sunday is also very friendly and helpful and even offered us a free pitcher if we came the next Sunday and we weren't even regulars yet. Patronage was a large variety from kids, high schoolers, college students and middle aged folk. It can get a little crowded at times, but the only time we've been turned away was when there was a tournament going on that we had to wait til was finished, which meant drinking and playing pool at the bar. Bottom line: Don't expect anything super nice; if you're fine with inexpensive items that are well priced, you'll have a great time. I will continue to return.

The place was meh and the people were just a bit odd. Sketchy location and definitely not a place I'd go back to. If no one's at the counter when we have to pay for over ten minutes should we even have to pay?!?

Bowlers Club is a great spot if you're into that old-school, no-frills bowling experience. The…read morewhole place has strong retro vibes, and it really feels like stepping back in time in the best way. One thing to know going in is that their open lane hours can be a bit particular, so it's definitely worth checking ahead before you go. It seems like they cater a lot to league play, which makes sense given the community feel. I see people online complain about their lack of availability and if you do a quick search or look at their signage, you can see they have very limited open lane hours. The space itself is surprisingly roomy, with plenty of seating, and I appreciated that people actually respect the rules. No food or outside shoes in the bowling area, and everyone seemed to follow that without issue. Open bowling prices are very cheap. Just be aware it's cash or check only, though there is an ATM on site. Again, just check the hours because as of this review they are only open for a few hours one day a week. One of my favorite little touches is that they print out your games at the end. It's simple, but it adds to that nostalgic feel. Overall, it's not a flashy place, but that's kind of the point. If I lived closer, I'd probably come here regularly just to practice. It's a solid, affordable, old-school bowling spot.

Didn't get very busy when we were there. They print out your games at the end. Cash or check AND they have an ATM. An entire star is for the music! I don't know how or why, but there was some metal, emo, classic rock - don't know what hero was DJing, but we salute you!

Great place for family fun, a date night, an evening of great food and cold drinks too!…read more Their snack bar does a great job with their food and takes pride in making quality dishes. My son likes to have us order their 24 piece square cut pizza and we take it home. Found out from the owner, the reason why it's so delicious is they make the dough and sauce on site (homemade). Yummm!! Our kiddos have attended birthdays for 5 year olds and also for 14 year olds... both were fantastic! The 14 year old party was in the VIP suite that has 6 private bowling lanes, a bar and food that can be purchased ahead of time by the host. Both parties were well managed by the strike zone staff who really cared about making sure everyone had an amazing time! Family Fun Pros: - there's a two level ballscape that is fantastic on the weekends for the younger kiddos - an inside bumper car area - several premium style party rooms for birthdays - an arcade for fun times and some car racings Deal nights (great date nights) - Galactic Bowling - Tuesday and Thursday $3.00 nights

I come to this alley for pizza bowl and it was expected that they would have pizza there. I was completely upset to find out that they ran out of pizza 30 minutes into pizza bowl I have never been more disappointed in an establishment than I am today if you're going to host a pizza bowl with unlimited pizza so-called. Then maybe you should order the correct amount of pizza to feed everybody I show up I spent $20 and then I find out there's no pizza and since I'm starving, I can't even make it through the rest of my games and I leave. I'm very disappointed. Step it up.
