I think this place is a 2.5 Star establishment. Given that this is the only miniature golf around the area, It's good to come if you are looking for something to do with your kiddos. Regular price is $6.5/adult; $5/senior; $3/child under 5 (?). The courses are a bite worn down but it's enough to keep you occupied for an hour or so. 18 holes and the courses are very close together. A good flow and enough things to keep your child entertained while you play... yup, my 3 yr-old only lasted 2 putts before losing her concentration and start cheating and play with things on the course. Warning - they only have portal potty - so if you hate these like I do, try to have an empty bladder before you come! read more

Really fun little miniature golf course, old-school style, with schtick obstacles. I can't say everything worked or was designed perfectly -- a lot of the holes need a little TLC for play -- but the greens were new and the hard concrete pour underneath provided consistent play, and when you make a good putt you want it to go in. The grounds were very pleasant, although we wish the running water were more part of the course. Normally we'd rate this about a three-star, but for whatever reason the whole was more than the sum of the parts and all four of us enjoyed the layout despite the mostly easy putts and lack of a multi-level or true water hole. Go figure. Worth a stop if you're an aficionado. The driving range looked really super - some hillocks popping up, good range markers, and two different tiers for straight driving and chipping. First of all, I've been to this place once or twice and I was disappointed. It's not well kept and the holes are too shallow, so it's really hard to get the balls into them. Plus the paint on the obstacles are chipping and there's just a lot of dead space. It feels like a place that got let go and feels haunted. On the bright side, it's a small, cozy that seems family owned with 2 cute kids. I liked that part. Plus at the 19th hole (last one), was a unique and cute idea. Even though this place is really small and doesn't look hard, it's quite challenging and has some good obstacles. On the whole, I wouldn't go back here. I'd only suggest stopping along the way if it's on your route. read more

Stopped by Bakers Golf Center just before it closed the other night because my husband and I were looking for something to do before dinner and we always like to visit local mini-golf places while we're on vacations! Overall the course seemed to be decently maintained - there were a few leaves on the course but we just kicked them out of the way if they obstructed our shots. The variety of obstacles was great - more variety than we've seen on other courses, with some fun non - "traditional" aspects to them. My husband is much more calculated and consistent with his golf game so he usually wins - yet I always manage to score the only hole-in-one shots in our games. We had fun with the different holes that played to each of our strengths and skills! I believe the course only took the two of us 30-45 minutes to get through - 5 stroke limit on the holes and they're fairly close together so minimal walking. I also appreciated that there were some more "photo-op" items around the course - giant chair, gazebo, bridge, etc. that helped us document our visit! read more

This is the mini golf course I grew up with. I could probably describe each hole...well maybe not all of them but lets list some highlights: -There was the one with plastic bowling pins that were suppose to move up and down and never did. -An old movie clapboard. -One hole where a few bricks were missing from the rail that lead right into the pond. -That stupid yellow spiral that takes three shots to finally get through. -I believe there was a red metal one, sort of in the spiral family, that you had to shot the ball through a small opening. -The merry-go-around that has taken a beating over the years. -Yes those creepy children turning inside the house. They too, have taken a huge beating over the years. -A lone fisherman sitting by the hole that is just a circle with a huge giant rock in the middle. Good times. At the end you can win a free game in the pin ball shoot ball return thing. They also have a driving range which is great. I used to buy a small basket and then have a friend bring extra balls to hit. Prices for mini or driving range never seemed extreme. Not a "great" course and if it's your first time you may be disappointed. Not me though because the nostalgia will live in my heart. read more

Bakers has staying power, it's been around since I was just a little kid. A really fun place to play a round of mini golf, or hit the driving range, if you are vacationing in the Berkshires, or even if you live there like I did. It's really reasonably priced, a game of mini golf costing around $5 and a huuuuugggeeee basket of balls for the range at around $10. You can bring your own clubs or rent for the range. They have a little snack shack with chips and ice cream. Not the most "exciting" mini golf experience around. I think most of the gimmicks, ie...rotating animals, your classic windmill, merry-go rounds, etc... have been there for the past 30 years but it's good, solid, decent, american fun. Located right next to pontoosuc lake and the berkshire mall, Bakers golf is conveniently located for a day of fun. During the 80's, they had a target with Saddam Husein's face on it. Oh yeah...after you finish the mini golf course, you put your ball in a this crazy contraption with a plunger (think pin ball machine) and if your golf ball lands in the right hole, free game!! Not has hard as it sounds as last time I won a free game, also you never have to wait very long to play a round. read more

This is a pretty fun mini golf spot. There's quite a bit of skill involved in this course, including avoiding stuff that moves, water hazards, windmills, ramps, etc. We had a super fun time here and it's not super hard if you suck (guilty!) You can tell that they put a lot of care into building a fun course, every hole has something special, rather than those dumb courses that rely on only the shape of the space. read more

We happened upon Bakers Golf Center after breakfast on Sunday and it was one of the most fun times of our vacation! The course and grounds were as well maintained as an outdoor facility can be, no complaints here! All of the mini-golf built in features were in great shape and looked freshly painted. The stone and water features were beautiful! We had a really fun time and would definitely go back again! read more

The Driving Range is excellent. You have a choice between mats and grass, plus there is a practice sand trap and putting green.

Mini golf! I got the orange ball! After 13 holes, I felt like I played a real game of golf, and had to use their port-a-potty. The most challenging hole involved two creepy little children dolls that rotated around..... Freaked me out and effed up my game. read more

We came here for the driving range, and it was fun! There are different sized baskets you can purchase, and the largest basket is pretty cheap considering how many balls are provided. The place is nicely maintained and in a convenient location... perfect for dropping people off if you want to go shopping just up the road! read more

Although the mini golf prices are really good, $15 total for my husband, 4 year old son and myself, this course is terrible! The entire course is so uneven that even if you get your ball right next to the hole it will roll all the way down to the cement wall. It was very frustrating. The obstacles are very outdated and it could use some work. The only reason I gave two stars was for the price. I will probably take a drive next time and have a better experience. read more
