It's fantastic, although every corner/inside intersection looks the same so I'm always lost and winging it. You'll find everything you need from expensive taste to budget wear. The only unique option in the food court is Koryo, but it was shut down this weekend for a massive cockroach infestation :( Even though I used to go there quite often when I lived on the southside, I still find it incredibly difficult to navigate. It's such a strange layout.

I'm not making a review about kingsway mall in general. i'm making a review about a store called…read moredesigner depot because during my christmas shopping i noticed a few red flags as well as green flags. 1. i overheard certain staff members talking very rudely about other staff members. 2. i was not aware of multiple policies due to no one explaining it to me so when i went back to exchange an item i was not able to do so considering non of the employees were telling customers about them. 3. the cashier with dark hair and glasses was EXTREMELY sweet and very professional considering how young she looked. 4. i was greeted by a very sweet young man who was making sure the store was safe from homeless people due to an incident. Yes there were a few red flags but majority of my visit to this location was okay. one other thing it is very difficult to identify who is an employee due to the employees not having name tags. The staff is on top of cleaning up things and keeping the floors clean from all the mud that comes on the shoes from off the street. My only complaint is that I feel there could be a better selection of stores and options. Some of the stores though offer good pricing and good discounts. I will continue to shop here and hope that they get a better selection in the future.

The latter is one of the biggest, brightest Safeways I have ever visited. Accessible from outside entrances are a cannabis shop and Liquor Depot. There's a mostly older demographic, as well as kids from nearby schools, but there's pretty much everything someone would need in terms of essentials, as well as a few out off the way surprised, like the music stores.

The mall is the old style of one long line of stores but it does offer a decent selection of stores and there's also a bowling alley in the basement too which is fun if you need a break from shopping! Since they were full of volunteers, we had some time to kill before going back. We went to a few stores including HMV (found some great deals with gift merchandise marked down), Carlton Cards, and Shoppers Drug Mart. There's not much for women's clothing stores though, but there seems to be a good number of jewelry stores. They also have kiosks and vendors in the middle of the mall who are selling their goods. We ate in the food court and not a lot of selection but there's always available seating and it's clean as I see the staff wiping tables and taking away trays. There are also anchor stores including Safeway and Sears. Upstairs of the mall there are a few organizations that have their offices here so you can go to a meeting and shop in the same place! Not a mall that I'll find everything I'm looking for, but has some good shops that I can find some good buys.

Good selection of food and vendors - I ate here for 3 days while I was in the area on a course, and it was great to be able to eat at 3 different restaurants. Fingers crossed for another course in the area so I have an "excuse" to be back. Pro tip: make sure if you do go, it's during the "normal class times". Trust me, you know when a class or 2 is let out - don't get lost in the mix!!

#200th Review! I…read morethought I had to do something special for my 200th review so why not review best spots in the City! I have lived close to Whyte Ave all of the time I have lived in Edmonton. Whyte Ave is one of the hottest destination spots in the City. It is host to some cool and unusual shops: Great restaurants and nightclubs/bars. Quirky shops. The Farmers Market, A great library in a historical building, Host to many great festivals and events, and so much more. Whyte Ave is also always evolving which makes it vibrant and fun. There are lots of great stores (some of which are pretty unique too!) and restaurants. It's a colourful place with an interesting crowd depending on what else is going on in the area. I've been here for parties, festivals, special events, theatre and more! It is quite popular with the university student crowd. That said, it's imperfect: some of what makes it awesome is also what causes issues: it's a pretty popular place with the late night crowd and can get very busy/crazy on occasion. Additionally, these events/festivals can cause trash and whatnot. It's busy enough that parking can be limited and transit from downtown is sometimes awkward. But it's a great destination to reach on foot. And there is reasonably good transit to this area. I definitely recommend a visit, particularly during the summer months.

Walmart Tamarack Edmonton - Poorly Run Checked the STORE'S…read moreown website which shows that the pharmacy opens at 8 am. Went to Tamarack Walmart shortly after 8 am and the pharmacy was CLOSED. The sign in store ABOVE THE PHARMACY shows 8am. I went to customer service and asked why the pharmacy was closed and he said "9 am ". I mentioned to him that the sign ABOVE THE PHARMACY shows 8am. He said with some attitude "9 am". Actually it worked out for the better. Went to a CANADIAN pharmacy which was OPENED and they looked after me. Better to support a CANADIAN OWNED pharmacy than a U.S. owned company. Catch u later . (means never again.)
