Rude and Unprofessional Manager - Never Returning If the owner of Capezio Las Vegas sees this review, I sincerely hope you reconsider the manager you've hired. Her way of handling customer issues is disappointing and unprofessional. Not only has she failed to train her staff properly, but she also shifts the responsibility onto customers. Here's what happened: I called ahead to exchange three unopened tights that were too small for my child. I was told they could make an exception, even though tights are usually final sale. I drove 20 minutes to the store, greeted by a woman with glasses who claimed to be the manager. She told me I had to pay the price difference, which I was fine with. But when I asked about the extra 10% student discount that had been applied before, she said it wasn't available because "two discounts can't be combined."She then claimed she had checked my purchase history and that I had never received a student discount. This was completely false!!! When I showed her my receipt with the clearly printed "student 10% off," she backtracked and said that was a mistake by the previous sales associate and that she would speak to that employee. Her excuse? "The system doesn't allow it," and that I was lucky she was even letting me exchange, because tights are "final sale." When I showed her Capezio's official return policy--which clearly states that unopened tights can be returned or exchanged within 30 days--she dismissed it and snapped, I told her English is not my first language, but I can read the policy very clearly. It was right there. She didn't care. She refused to acknowledge it, spoke to me in a rude and sarcastic tone, and said, "Don't change the subject." Her attitude was passive-aggressive, and honestly, I felt disrespected and discriminated against. Finally, she gave me the 10% discount, but wrote "customer complaint" on the receipt and sarcastically said, "You have the best day ever!" This is unacceptable behavior from a store manager. What's ridiculous is that she ended up giving me the discount anyway--so clearly, it was possible all along. But instead of solving the issue with a good attitude, she chose to argue and treat me poorly. In the end, she made a customer angry enough to never come back. All over something that could've been handled with basic respect and professionalism. I want to highlight that Nikki, the sales associate who helped me previously, was kind, helpful, and professional. In fact, every other staff member I've dealt with at this store was better than this so-called manager. I will never shop here, and I strongly advise others to be cautious--especially when dealing with this particular manager. read more

It's definitely from all the change in management and the new regional manager Alexa is terrible. My family has been shopping here since the old location and they took a big nosedive dana, Victoria, and Aliyah were wonderful. This new "manager" not at all. I have never in the 20+ years of dancing classical ballet been treated so terrible. I was trying to get a pair of point shoes and was refused help due to a piece of paper taped to the door saying that an appointment was needed to be fitted for point shoes. No where in the website does it state that. There is a sale that ends today and they would not honor an extension. Horrible, miserable people working at this location. Bought some gifts for a recital I was attending. I walked out to my car to receive a phone call that a family member was being rushed to the hospital. I couldn't attend the recital and walked in the store to ask to return the items. Haven't danced for 9 years & I'm starting again, and I had a mini panic attack when I realized that I would need new dance wear. Calysta, one of the girls there, was so quick to help! Within less than 10 mins of being at the store, my cousin and I already had our two ballet shoes and two footundeez! (Considering we were picking and going back and forth between colors & sizes) That's how helpful she was! They have lifted the mask mandate in Las Vegas. We now have a choice to wear a mask or not. When we walked into Capezio we had no mask because the mandate has been lifted and we are free to make a choice. As soon as we walked in we were asked if we had a mask. I said no. They had a box of masks on the counter and told me to take two so that I could mask my daughter and I up. I reminded them that the mandate had been lifted and that we have a choice to make wear a mask. They told me that my daughter and I are not allowed to shop In the store without a mask. They discriminated against my daughter and I for not wearing a mask. We told them they are discriminating against us and that we were not going to spend money there. I understand that some private businesses are still mandating masks and they are choosing to discriminate based on if you wear a mask or not. Those business will not get my business and I hope if you're personal liberties are important to you, you will also choose to support business' that do not discriminate and give people a choice. Too bad Capezio that you have chosen to be a company that practices discrimination. Big mistake. read more
