This place is awful!! I ordered shoes as a Christmas present. On Christmas the person who the shoes were for informed me that the shoes that I received were not the ones that I had ordered. We called the store & they said to ship them back to them & that they would refund my shipping cost & send me the correct shoes. After they received the shoes back, they told me that the ones that I had ordered were not in stock and that all they could do was refund me. They refunded the cost of the shoes, but not what I had paid to receive the shoes in the first place or the return shipping. When I called to talk to them about the manager yelled at me saying that I was lucky to get the cost of the shoes refunded & that they would not refunded the shipping. Then he hung up on me! I signed up my 3-yr old daughter to take some ballet & tap lessons for the 1st time since she has been begging to go for some time so I went hunting for places to get her gear. This store came across my search engine quite a bit so I figure, let's check it out before ordering online (you can order online btw). My daughters' classes were only @ our rec center so I didn't wanna overspend on what she needed in case she didn't wanna do it anymore. Shoes, leotards, etc... I knew Payless shoes & Target sold some dance shoes & leotards but my daughter is soooo petite, I can never find her sizes! Hubby & I took our lil one to check out the place so she can pick the colors (hyping her up for her dance classes) she wanted for her leotards & shoes. OMG... my kid was just super excited!!! LOL! =) Very small store & prices are very reasonable. I was hoping to get everything we needed in there & that was exactly what we did. They had her sizes for everything. Got her 1 leotard, a pair of tap shoes, & a pair of ballet shoes for less than $40. Not too bad!!! The guy working there was very helpful as well. They have a great selection & who knows... you may be able to find something good on sale or clearance. They have a good selection, much more than other dance stores in Las Vegas. I needed some special shoes and they offered to order them for me and have them in two days. I decided not to go that route but it was helpful that they called the manufacturer to make sure they had them in stock. I ended up coming back in and buying a different pair of shoes. All the sales people were friendly but I would recommend talking to Joe because he seemed to be the most knowledgeable and he was honest with me about the quality of shoes I was buying. The first 2 pairs of shoes I ordered were great but the third order was a mess. I sent one pair of shoes back because they were WAY too small even though no mention had been made to order up in size. Then they said they never received the package and did NOTHING to help resolve the issue so I am out not only the price of the shoes but the postage and insurance as well. Also, the other pair of shoes in that third order have been to the shoe repair 2 times and I have only had them 2 months. STAY AWAY FROM DANCE 4 LESS. They don't care about quality or customer service. PS: Two weeks after I wrote this review the pair of shoes I decided to keep ripped and are now worthless. Again STAY AWAY from Dance 4 Less. I paid for expedited shipping. Their order form specifically asks if you need your order by a certain date, which I did and responded to. I received no tracking information. I called the store and was told that my order had shipped and was due to arrive the next day. Perfect. Well, the next day came and my order didn't, so I called the store again. This time I'm told over and over again about how it's "not their fault, it's the manufacturers fault" that my order wasn't shipped when it should have been and that my expedited shipping costs cannot be refunded, that I can just refuse the package. How can I refuse a package that gets dropped off on my doorstep? Kick it off into the street? So, magically, the employee who informed me that my package would be on time can't be found because (silly me) didn't think to ask for his name. But, really what difference does it make which employee straight up lied to me? Either way, I'm the one who pays the price for the negligence of Dance 4 Less. At least if I had been informed of the error, I would have had the time to try to find a replacement. But, I guess lying was easier for their employees. Thank you for ruining my day. Before placing my order I called the store and asked if they would be able to ship and deliver my order by next week. I let the man know where I was located and what I needed. He said that I could select the standard shipping option and notate my special request upon checkout. I placed the order online this morning and less than 2 hours later I received an email with a tracking number informing me that my order had shipped. After placing my order I checked some reviews online and read that this store has poor customer service. My experience so far is the opposite. I shopped here with my dance partner when we both needed new ballroom shoes (these are a special suede-sole dance shoe) . They have a much larger selection of these kinds of shoes than other shops. However, they don't carry a lot of sizes in stock but they will order shoes in for you. This is tricky because ballroom shoes as a whole run very different than street shoes. Had they kept more on hand we each would have purchased a few more pairs. When I first called the shop a rather rude man answered but luckily a helpful young lady was there when we arrived and was quite nice. I did have to hunt here down though because the selling floor was void of any employees!! She counseled me into a different type of shoe which was a great suggestion for me. I ordered online to assist with creating our own Halloween costumes and at the time of purchase I was not informed that items were back-ordered. The package was received after Halloween (big disappointment to my kids but we purchased last-minute Halloween costumes locally). I paid the postage to return the package and was informed that it was received too late for reimbursement and I was only provided with store credit. My experience will not allow me to recommend using their online service because they should be clear about estimated delivery dates and should have contacted me when they found the items were back-ordered so that I could decide if we wanted to wait. When I called after returning the items via USPS and not receiving reimbursement their customer service was poor. The day after processing my order, they 'nicely' called me to inform me that they did not have what I ordered in stock and that there could be a delay of 6-7 weeks before the order would ship. Well, 6-7 weeks, that's pretty much 45 days: exactly the amount of time that you have to wait to lose your right to open a dispute on paypal. Four months later, they still haven't answered any of my emails and haven't shipped the order. HORRIBLE experience. My advice to you, avoid this merchant. Go elsewhere. Don't support shifty business practices. My wife purchased Stephanie ballroom shoes in preparation for a wedding, from their website. First, they didn't ship the shoes in the timeframe promised by their policy. In fact, when they actually did ship the shoe, they blamed Stephanie (the manufacturer) for the delay. My wife, who's a small business owner herself, gave dance4less a week after the designated shipping timeframe before calling to follow up. Also, my wife made it a point to confirm the heel height on the shoes she had ordered after it was apparent that they were shipping late. She needed to have a bridesmaid dress tailored to a specific heel height, and she needed a shoe to measure with so she had to use her own, which was identical to the shoe she ordered, but in black. She was promised by the store owner while speaking with her on the phone that the heel on the shoe she ordered and the shoe she measured with (which was a couple of years older) were still identical. Turns out they were not identical, as we were sent an entirely different shoe. The point here is that the store owner knew my wife's need to have an identical heel height, yet still shipped her a different brand shoe with a different heel height. Through this whole ordeal, we were not contact once by dance4less to tell us shipping would be over a week late, or that they didn't actually have what we ordered in stock. No communication at all from the merchant. Fast forward a week, we received the shoe, and it WAS THE WRONG SHOE. Totally different brand, and not the same heel height. Not even the same color. My wife called again after receiving the shoe, and the first person she spoke with, a guy, very deliberately hung up on her (I was standing next to her and heard the whole conversation) after she explained the situation (very politely, mind you). Side note - my wife is the most cordial, kind person you could ever talk to, and as a small business owner herself, she makes it a point to be polite when on the phone with other businesses. After being hung up on, she called back and spoke to (I presume) one of the two owners. The lady my wife spoke with sounded completely disinterested. All we wanted at this point was a refund and a prepaid return label so my wife could buy her shoes elsewhere, but the lady wouldn't do anything at all to remedy the situation. Even though this company made numerous, very obvious, mistakes with this order, even shipped her the wrong shoes, costing my wife (and I) hours of our time, and money, they wouldn't even attempt to make it right. Again, we asked for a pre-paid shipping label, as dance4less shipped us the wrong shoe and it was clearly their mistake. They wouldn't even do that. Now we're stuck paying extra money to have my wife's dress re-tailored because this company failed to delivery the correct shoes, with the heel height promised, in the correct color, or even the correct brand, in the timeframe promised. This was the worst customer service experience both my wife and I have ever experienced. Period. Please DO NOT support this company. Go elsewhere. read more

The price is only slightly better than competitors but the service is absolutely atrocious. I understand this is a small business but they never even check let alone return their email, they never return calls, and when orders take forever they can't even track them down for you (or they say they will track them down and call you back, but they never call you back). I've been trying to get my shoes for two months now and still, no shoes. I get the feeling this is not deliberate-- unlike other companies which are a scam, these guys are running a legit business. They charge your credit card up front and then take many weeks for refunds...when (not if) the online shoes you order inevitably do not fit. It took me about eight weeks to get a refund and only after repeated emails becoming ever more adamant did I finally get one. After all that, they still charged me restocking fees even though their rep said they wouldn't. Those who benefit from of a national clientele via the internet should have a customer preferential refund policy like the good merchants do. read more

Please do not purchase anything from this company. Their customer service is EXTREMELY rude. A man who answers the phone and calls himself a supervisor will hang up on you whenever you ask a question. He will keep you on the phone to complain about the government and beaurocracy, but as soon as you ask him a question, he says "have a good night," and hangs up before you finish speaking. Also, this company will randomly charge your credit card without authorization, which I'm pretty sure is illegal. I cannot stress enough how difficult it is to deal with these people. The product was fine, but arrived late. I called the Las Vegas center and spoke to Edward who is the rudest man I have ever met!! I was not rude to him in any way, but he repeatedly interrupted me and then cursed at me. He has no idea what customer service is and to top it off there is no one to complain to. I purchased beginner ballet shoes, tap shoes, and a leotard for my four year old daughter at Dance 4 less, for under $50. The staff member who assisted me was extremely friendly and helpful. He answered all of my questions and was very quick to grab the appropriate items for my daughter to try on. While I was being helped he was also able to assist three other customers at the same time, and none of us were left waiting for longer than a minute or two. If I could them minus star, I would! Just hung up the phone with the rudest person ever, who is the manager of this establishment. Had some problems on my order back in May due to the shoe manufacturer's resizing of their line and they also substituted a different style cause the one I ordered is out of stock even though it did let me ordered it online on their website. Spoke with dance4less over the phone multiple times and was told that I can return the whole order and they will refund the whole charge plus the return shipping cost of $7.36 because it is not my errors on the ordering. On May 29th, I even followed up and called to make sure that they received the returns, I was told again that there is no problem, they got it, and it will take 3-4 weeks for the refund! It is now July 16th, no trace of the refund, so I called again. First, they said they couldn't run the refund, did my credit card expire? No, the card have a couple more years before expiring, then she tried to go through what was the problems with the order and why I can't get the refund tactic with me, when that doesn't work, Edward got on the phone and basically told me it's not their problem, they are going to charge me a shipping fee because I don't DESERVE the free shipping (order over $100 gets free shipping, and mine was!) and they will not reimburse my return shipping cost! When I asked what happened to the previous agreements by his employees to me, he said that they no longer work there, I will get an email to tell me what amount of refund I will get and HUNG up! What a way to run a business...no, I will give my business to anyone but Dance4less, I don't care how much less they charge, I need to deal with a respectable business!
