This Dick's Sporting Goods at Fashion Show Mall is huge and a great spot if you need just about anything sports-related. The store is super spacious and well organized, making it easy to browse without feeling overwhelmed. They carry a wide variety of sports gear, apparel, and accessories for pretty much every sport and activity. One of the standout areas is the large shoe department, tons of brands, sizes and styles whether you're looking for athletic, training, or casual shoes with a variety of pricing. The employees are friendly and helpful, which always makes the shopping experience better. Anytime I've had a question or needed help finding something, someone was nearby and willing to assist. Overall, this is a solid go to store inside the mall with plenty of selection and lots of space with and helpful staff. Definitely worth stopping in especially if you're already at Fashion Show Mall. :) read more

Never again, the rudest staff I've ever encountered. I came in to exchange a clothing item that was gifted to me in the wrong size. I explained politely that I had briefly tried it on to show appreciation to the person who gave it to me. The item had a little hair on it, which could've easily been brushed off. From the start, the employees behind the counter looked annoyed that I even existed. No greeting, no eye contact, just blank stares until I had to ask for help. When the manager finally appeared, he immediately doubted the item even came from Dick's (it did and I had the receipt). Then he told me the item was "used," accused me of lying, and started lecturing me about his "many years in retail." Not exactly the flex he thought it was. I stayed calm and explained again, but he refused to help, spoke to me disrespectfully, and the rest of the staff just stood there glaring like I'd interrupted their day by being a paying customer. I left feeling humiliated. Out of curiosity, I went to another Dick's location, and the difference was night and day. The staff there were kind, professional, and exchanged the item right away. They even apologized for how I was treated at the first store. This location seriously needs retraining in basic customer service and empathy. I'll never return, and I'd recommend driving a few extra miles to any other Dick's before dealing with this one. read more

Absolutely unbelievable what happened so a lot of of us ambulance medical workers such as BLS, first responder, nurses and paramedics go to the store because it's convenient and buying our spandex shirts and other items that are needed when we work We've always gotten a 10% discount always all you have to do is show your card now the other young workers were just giving us the military discount to be nice or whatever no one's ever told us they don't give the discount it's just been given to us Let me show you the receipts $80-$300 worth of stuff that I spend every 3 months at the store. I go there today to buy one of the spandex shirts long sleeve to wear under my uniform and I'm told by a new lady that moved and transferred from Florida that she didn't know of any such discount (I believe her name was according to the receipt Shawnna) I asked to speak to the manager, and after the manager was saying a lot over the radio where all the workers were looking over at me, making it very uncomfortable rather than coming over right away because a customer asked for a manager A lady comes over by the name of Chris and she states that she is the manager. She tells me there is no such discount and she can't honor it and she served her time x amount of years doing what I don't know. As a customer service courtesy she should've just gave it knowing that we come in there all the time and we could show the proof. And just tell me to call corporate or look on the website to see if they honor anything just as a courtesy she could've just did it since I was showing her proof that we've gotten it before . No she had to run her mouth a bit. I let her know I was writing a review and I was calling to corporate, and I show proof that I have gotten discount numerous times before This is not right to not honor discounts to people, especially when it's been given before we can take our business elsewhere, but for convenient purposes, it was there Trust and believe me, it will be posted to all of our workers on our work community board and send down a massive email to all of our workers and crew numbers, and the numerous numerous ones that go there for sure won't go there we all stick together. Dick's is one of the only reasons left that I come to the Fashion Show mall. Most of the really good stores have up and left, but the flagship Dick's remains. It's two stories of sports goodness and while I am not athletic in the least, I shop here for fan gear! This location is similar to the Dick's out in Henderson, but I have found that it's often better stocked when it comes to local sports team merch. If you're looking for Raiders t-shirts, Vegas Golden Knights jerseys, and even items for our more obscure local teams like the Aviators (minor league baseball), the Lights (minor league soccer), and the Aces (you really should be supporting our amazing WNBA team), you can find it here. I came to the mall for some holiday shopping and browsing, and I left with a sack full of stuff. It was the first place in town to stock the new VGK reverse retro hockey jerseys (which I bought as soon as I saw it because it was freaking love at first sight), and I also picked up a discounted A'ja Wilson WNBA MVP t-shirt for $18. There are racks and racks of sale merchandise, so take your time and peruse it all. The employees here are knowledgeable and friendly, but you may have to approach them to ask for assistance. Worst experience ever. In short, ordered 2 pairs of shoes online for my kid through INSTACART. Shoes were a size too small so I wanted to EXCHANGE them for the EXACT same shoes, just a size bigger. Store refuses to EXCHANGE the shoes because the receipt provided by INSTACART does not show the barcode? (All instcart provided was a photo of the shopper holding a FOLDED receipt in his hand. Even online and in the app there is no BARCODE). So this receipt shows the register, transaction number, cashiers name, AND the last 4 digits of the card used and Dick's is telling me they can in no way verify the purchase in any way with that information. I spend and insane amount of money at Dick's and even more with INSTACART. You guys should be ashamed. Lesson learned, I should've read all of the negative reviews about both companies long ago and stayed away. Don't be a DICK! read more

I went shopping the day after Thanksgiving to this location. There was sign posted that stated Fanatics items were a certain percentage off. I go up to the register and the item is not coming up the correct advertised price. The cashier does the correct thing and asks the male Caucasian manager. The manager has the worst attitude with customers. He snapped back at me and spoke down to me as if I was the problem. Arrived in Las Vegas and forgot to pack socks. This is a large store but its neat and organized, which was a plus since they were also having a pretty good clearance sale. I walked around the store for almost 30 minutes and didn't encounter an employee until I went to the register and there were two people there manning one register. Seems like the entire bottom level of the store is Nike gear. Found some socks on the clearance table for $2.93 for two pair, which is a deal almost anywhere, but especially in Las Vegas. Poor customer service and poorly trained employees me not want to shop at this location anymore. I make a lot of purchases on their website because a lot of items are only available online and not in their Vegas area stores. Once in a while, I need to return an item purchased online because it either didn't fit or I didn't like it. Dick's has a no hassle return policy as long as you have the original store receipt or packing slip that came with the item. On my most recent visit, I was returning a couple golf polos that I had changed my mind on. The cashier had no problem with processing the return and asked if I wanted to exchange the items for anything else. I didn't need anything else at the time, so I told her no and that I'd just like to return the items. She told me that since I had paid with Paypal, that she would only be able to exchange the items or give me store credit. I knew this to be absolutely untrue since I've paid with Paypal many times before and received a refund to the credit card I used. After some argument, and her take it or leave it attitude, I gave in and just took the store credit. After I left the store, I contacted corporate to inform them of the incident. They advised me that Paypal purchases can either be refunded to the credit card used, as well as store credit. However, they told me that since the transaction had already been completed there was nothing they could do for me. Now I'm stuck with a bunch of store credit instead of the money back on my card...what an inconvenience just because of a dumb store cashier that doesn't even understand their own company policy and then tries to argue over it! read more

Waited 20 mins for someone to come over and open a dressing room for my daughter to try on a bathing suit after pushing the assistant call button multiple times. Then I had to go ask the cashier to please send someone and the young lady that showed up named JUNE who very rudely told me just for my information there is a button to push to call for assistance. Told her I can read and we did push the button many times. I have to say thanks for going out of your way June to be rude! May I suggest that this young lady get further training in customer service! The store manager here, Angie, treats her employees horrible. She brings them down, she's racist, makes the rudest remarks to them, hates you for literally no reason, and so much more. She just simply doesn't care about anyone but herself. She is just like a witch! I worked there for 1 year and 2 months, and made it so hard to want to work there. Before her I was so happy to come to work and now that she's store manager she makes everyone hate going to work. She would say things such as "I don't trust YOU people" while looking you up and down as she's going out, or give you the dirtiest looks. She will manipulate and gaslight you into believing you are doing something wrong, when you aren't. I rarely got any breaks when working 6-8 hour shifts. She is just a horrible person. read more

I came here to return an item I had ordered online that wasn't exactly what was advertised on their website. I didn't expect to get my money back or, for a large chain company, to make it up to me. However, their staff were very professional, compensating, and, most of all, fair :) I explained my situation to them and they were more than understanding about it. They made it up to me with no issue and got compensated for the mess. The staff were friendly and courteous throughout. The store has plenty of VGK and UNLV apparel. From the security to the staff helping you check out, everyone is very helpful and friendly. Returning to exchange sum sizes is very quick and efficient. I even left my phone at the store on accident when tending to my 3yr old son and returned 10min later to find it safely with a helpful employee. read more

Ok, let's start with the good: the guy from apparel who helped me locate stuff was very helpful and professional. That guy gets thumbs up. Now that that's out of the way, let's get to the rest--I think the layout of the store isn't very good. And, what's worse, much worse, is that the woman who was working the register was on the rude side--when the order came to more than I expected, she quipped "It's high end merchandise so of course it's going to cost more." (As it turns out, a pair of pants that I thought cost around $25 cost around $50). That's basically a representative sample of her demeanor in the brief time in which I was around her. Used to like shopping at Dick's until today. I came in with some apparel returns to do last week but couldn't find my receipt and was told to bring in the gift card I purchased it on to look up the order. So I did that today and all the cashiers and managers were saying they can't look up the receipt via gift card. They then offer to have me settle for less than what I paid for by doing a return w/o a receipt but for the lowest sale price - which would have been a loss because I know I paid more than what they were offering. The worst part of this and why I won't be coming back here is because one of the managers, starts being condescending to us by saying how we 'should' have the receipt and how SHE always has her receipts and without the receipt stores just give you the lowest sale price on a gift card and that's just how it is. I don't appreciate being talked to like a kid and your can't do attitude. Yeah no sh*t we know it's better to have the receipt, we looked all over the house for it, I also don't agree with her bc I know a lot of stores that look up via the card you purchased from, I'm also aware that stores just put credit back on a gift card for lowest sale price if you don't have the receipt (Target is an example) - YOUR staff told me to bring the gift card to look up the receipt so why in the world would I take a loss. Kudos to Sarah, the cashier who was able to find the receipt by exhausting all options. Sarah had the right attitude, a can do positive attitude. Not a condescending one like that female manager. This is our second experience here at the strip, the help staff was rude at both incidents. First incident me and my family were looking for outdoor shoes, TEVA's and 2 of my kids were playing around. We asked an employee an older gentleman, with a rotund frame for some help on the sizing and was snippy at my kids. Second incident was today 12/29/2017, was looking for an elbow sleeve, and the box was torn, I asked the employee if there was an unopened product so I can purchase the product, and the older gentleman retorted we can always give you a new box and was quite rude. I walked out of the shop and decided to buy an elbow sleeve online. To the management at Dicks Sporting goods, please train your employee's to socialize better with the customer's, this is the second interaction of your employee that was quite rude and made us decide to buy online. Not sure if it was because were Asian, or if it was the end of his shift, but please train your employees to be better at socializing to make the buying experience better. read more
