REI is a great store for outdoor gear. This REI location is in Summerlin, off of the Rampart/Summerlin exit. There is spacious amount of parking available. If you do a lot of races, especially 5ks in Las Vegas, typically packet pick ups are located at this REI location. My partner and I stopped by REI looking for HOKA sneakers on a Thursday afternoon. They didn't have too much in stock, but my partner did find a pair he was looking for. The team member at REI assisted by providing us a variety of different HOKA sneakers and sizes. We had a pleasant experience at REI. There is also a membership you can get at REI if you shop at the store often. There are tons of outdoor hiking gear and camping specialty items at REI! I would stop by this location again. The customer service rocked at REI!

The staff was extremely helpful when I was looking for a backpack and sized me so I have the perfect fit. They also offer cutting of webbing in the back so it's the desired length.

Standard REI. We always stop by REI near airport before heading out for long hiking trips to get fuel . Nice staff and stuff here.

Honestly, this was one of the best purchasing experiences I've ever had…read more I found the exact bike I wanted through the Specialized site and it came up as available at Swanny's. I'm in LA but figured I'd call to see if it was any cheaper than my local shop. They informed me that because they were shipping from Nevada to LA there wasn't any sales tax (10.5%) and they would throw a little love on top. They sent an invoice and I paid it. A day later it was shipped out and the next morning my bike arrived. The turn around was shockingly fast. Something did go wrong though. A helmet I ordered was damaged in shipment AND THEY SAID "KEEP IT, WE'LL GET ANOTHER ONE SENT OUT!!" I'm floored with the easy purchase, no hassle pricing, and especially the customer service. I don't think I'll ever buy a bike from another shop. The 5 star rating they have with hundreds of reviews isn't bullshit and is well earned. Much love to the ownership and team hear. Truly a top tier shop.

I initially went to REI feeling completely lost and unsure of what I needed. After walking around for about 10 minutes without being acknowledged, I decided to leave and I'm glad I did because I found this shop instead. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away. Zabi took the time to look over my bike and made helpful recommendations on what I needed to get it road-ready again. At no point did I feel pressured into buying anything. Instead, he made sure I felt comfortable and understood my options. The customer service was outstanding, not only from him but from everyone else in the shop as well. Even if larger corporate stores are running sales, I would much rather drive here and support a business where customers are genuinely welcomed and cared for. Overall, this is an excellent shop with knowledgeable staff, great customer service, and a team that truly cares about its customers.

The overall atmosphere was wonderful. Myself and one other ordered a chocolate croissant, Tiramisu latte with oat milk and then the summer seasonal blueberry cold brew with lemon soft top. I also ordered 6 homemade pumpkin dog treats and the total ended up being around $40 for 2 large coffees, a croissant and 6 dog treats. Not bad in my opinion. Everything was phenomenal! They have amazing coffee. I'm not a croissant person but I did decide to try this one out and I was actually impressed. Which says a lot coming from me. I suggest you come in if you've been considering it. You won't be disappointed.

Nothing brings you face to face with mortality than seeing your young children and wonder how long…read moreyou'll be around to see them graduate or marry. With our son being baptized last weekend, followed by 'real talk' with your medical specialist about the consequences of poor decisions, buffets and late nights all catching up after years of sedentary lifestyle, something needed to change. So I got a bike. The last time I used a bike regularly was in the 80's where my Tuffy took me miles away from home. And the desperate race to get home before dark and my father's whupping. I did my usual research, comparing and investigating different brands, different styles of bikes and their uses. I already had my heart set on a cyclocross or gravel bike. My buddy Gruber had a Surly that he rode 22 miles both ways to work in the dead of a Chicago winter from our apartment downtown. That sold me on the practical use of a bike that could take it under adverse conditions. I had actually looked for the right bike since. But I couldn't part ways with $3-5k on a Specialized or Trek. That was an expense I usually spared for firearms - truth talk. After my doctors appointment I made a call to the one closest to home. Giant on Blue Diamond. Spoke with Hanna and told her what I was looking for. She mentioned a couple of different models that fit the bill but what caught my attention was that one model was nearly $550 off the full price but it was the last model on the show floor. I gave it 2 weeks. And then 2 nights in a row I wake up with GI pain that kept me awake all night. I swung to the store when they opened and Pat and Hanna showed me some really cool features - 1. It was my size, 2. The tires were tubeless so there was no need to fill the tires with air - better for running over pointy things and keep on rolling, and 3. A brake system based on hydraulics. I was out of excuses. I bought it before anyone else could snap it up. Pat adjusted everything and Hanna shaved some of the seat stem after measuring - while cautioning me on the expectations and finer points of bicycling. Bottom line, I highly recommend! They're knowledgeable without being pretentious. Informative without being pushy or upselling at every opportunity. Both of them advising to spend on higher end items until I was properly broken in. Go here and ask for Pat and Hanna!

From the second I walked in, the team made me feel completely welcome -- no ego, no judgment, just genuine help. They didn't just fix my tire, they actually helped me understand the sport a little better. That meant a lot. When you're a beginner, that kind of patience and education builds confidence. Hannah especially was incredible -- her speed changing my tire was unreal. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Efficient, professional, and still super kind the entire time. What really stood out to me is that I don't even ride a Giant bike (yet), and they still treated me like I was family. That says everything about the culture of this shop. Because of how well I was treated, my next bike will absolutely be a Giant -- and I'll be coming here for life. Highly recommend.
