I typically don't review much beyond food so this is a rare business posting, but I did deem it appropriate of an exception. Right towards the Strip side of the Fashion Show Mall lies Champs and although I never step foot in one back home I always seem to find myself drawn to this one every time I wander into the mall. Leave it to Vegas to bring out that hidden shopping tick. Go figure?! This store specifically seems to be more driven towards shoes as there is quite the selection. There is however a pretty decent sized selection of various t-shirts, shorts, and pants from the top brands of the athletic world (Nike, Adidas, etc.). Also there was a small selection of sport jerseys and hats to polish off the outfit, but today we were specifically on a mission to find the wife some kicks. I walked out with ones as well so safe to say TOTAL impulse buy. Oh what a "bad influence" the wife is. Ha-ha. What I do appreciate here most of all is the service. I know from scrolling through some of the reviews here I had a complete 180 degree experience with the service so take that for what it's worth. Upon checking out we struck up a lovely conversation with the Manager on duty Alden and received stellar shoe service from a new addition to the Champs family Steven. Both were amazing and you can sense the genuine care they put into what they do. Sorry to say you can't fake that and it can be sniffed out very easily (especially in Sin City), but these gentleman passed with flying colors. Steven was very patient in my quest to see if the perfect shoe actually did exist for me that night. I have beyond normally wide feet so trying to get a pair of kicks seems darn near to impossible, but he really was determined. I felt so bad and inclined towards the end to purchase something because in total I think we went through about twelve pairs of shoes. Now imagine being the store associate having to go back and forth between the stock room for THAT?! He took the task (pardon the pun) like a champ. He really did know his shoe game quite well as once he knew of the issues I had with the shoes I was trying on directed me oddly enough to the kid's section and that shoe fit like the glass slipper (sorry Cinderella). The manager told us he'd only been there like four days, but with professionalism like that he's on his way to being there for quite some time. I will close this by admitting I HATE to shop, but with an experience like this from two praise worthy gentlemen it made for an enjoyable run and at least tells me all hope should not be abandoned.

I understand this is a locally owned business and inventory space is limited, so I completely understand the challenge. However, I would love to see more basic or solid color options available in-store. They only guarantee 30days refund policy so they will not take care off, refund, replace or fix these very expensive shoes after 3 months. Their own sales rep said, yes I know these shoes have a tendency to squeak. So why would you charge $180 dollars and sell to me the horrible shoes and never tell me the problem with them. Horrible product, horrible staff. No customer care. One person, actually said , we just sell shoes we do not make them so we cannot gurantee the quality. They did have the size I needed for my daughter which was a blessing because when I called the online to see if they had her size they didn't have it and checked a 20 mile radius from my house and no stores had her size. We took a chance coming to the mall and we successfully got our exchange. Prices are a little more expensive from online prices. Most of the shoes they had were the classic colors not much of a variety of special colors between converse and vans.
