I am a loyal Walmart goer and there have been times that haven't been as enjoyable but I will say every employee I have interacted with has been kind and helpful. From the moment you walk in you have door greeters and two of the ladies that work there predominantly the 4 to close time frame remember us every time we come my kids love them both and give hugs. My friends and I stopped by to grab a few items for our trip, and it was incredibly busy. With the crowd, even getting basic things like laundry supplies--locked behind cabinets--or paying for alcohol in a restricted booze line became a hassle. I wish they would keep things simple by not locking up everyday essentials like detergent and deodorant, and allow all purchases to be made at the front registers like in the good old days. That said, the staff at the entrance and exit were really friendly. They greeted customers warmly and reminded festival-goers to double-check their packing lists so they wouldn't have to buy overpriced items later on. Can't promise I won't be a returning customer, but I do wish they improved their flow for future visits. read more

I refuse to go to Walmart. Past 15 years I visited 3 Walmart stores always for the same reason. (Return gifts from in-laws) And this location and management has been probably the worst. In-laws live in CA and the closest large store near by is a Walmart and that's where they tend to shop. so naturally we get gifts from there from time to time. in the past they sent me a photo of a receipt and that worked no problem. But at my recent visit to return some gifts for my son who is 2 and the gifts were 5yrs+ or things I don't want him wear (cheap quality clothing), I was told by a staff member that I can't return the items even thought it was purchased 2 days ago.. and I had the picture of the receipt on my phone with all information they need to print out a duplicate. Or pull it out in the system. They refuse to do so and they said they need a physical receipt. I explained my in-laws are back in CA and I don't have an access to a physical one. The attitude of employees here is just something else. I felt like I was a criminal and was being schooled by a correction officer telling me I'm doing something illegal. Her actual response (how do we know that you are telling us the truth and you didn't just take a picture of someone else's receipt) I don't get the logic!!! anyways I asked for a Manager and he pretty much said I could return the items and get a. Store credit without a receipt. ???? What??? So this entire time I'm getting frustrated there was a solution and I was never offered till I asked for a manager??? What's wrong with these entitled employees!!? I would never go to any Walmart. This location is pretty rough. The lines are incredibly long and the staff is friendly but definitely overworked. The aisles are constantly filled with merchandise and scrambling staff trying to restock the store. The amount of customers is overwhelming. So if you enjoy a quick, efficient trip to the store like me I'd definitely make the trip to the Lake Mead/Rancho Walmart location. This location is also pretty dirty and the parking lot is chaotic. Generally, they have everything a WalMart should have; however, if you've been around town you'll notice we have two kinds of Walmarts... the nice ones and the garbage ones. This one used to be nice, but between the rarely opened self-checkouts, increased aggressive security, and just letting everything in and around the store fall in to a malaise, this place is now garbage. Given the placement of garbage WalMarts around town, this is a reflection of how they feel about the neighborhood. When in Vegas I always stop by this Super Walmart located on Charleston. Lots of parking and very spacious Walmart. Hopefully they bring a Super Walmart to Hawaii because it's like a regular Walmart but it has a full grocery department. Produce department, Bakery, and Deli. Talking about cheap prices wow Banana's 69 cents per pound while Hawaii is about $1.69 On Sale . The Black Tall Lady with grey hair at the door is the ruddiest person ever. I was feeling sick and got a riding scooter. Then my blood sugar was dropping. I went in to Charlie's steak to get some fries so I wouldn't pass out. She came flying in there with a cart screaming about I can't have the scooter, grabbed my stuff and transferred them to the cart and said other people need this more. Set up a tire installation appointment here because arroyo was out. Installers were great, but the females working the auto dept are miserable. We shopped while waiting for times and brought our items to check out. We approach the counter with our cart and the heavy set female asks if we are purchasing tires. It seemed like if we were not then we would be sent to the front. But we were indeed buying tires. Then she looks into the cart and says there is a 10 item max, so we have to go to the main checkout in the front. (We had 20 items.). Isn't that the idea that Walmart would like you to purchase more things when you're waiting for your tires?? We go to front and purchase the items. We return to the back to pay for the tires. The short female informs me that I am not allowed to pay until after the tires are finished and I will receive a text. Sounds reasonable. After receiving the text, I go up to the counter and tell her that I received the text. She was helping a disabled man and there was one person waiting. A line begins to form and she helps two other people and I inform her again that I received the text that my tires are completed. She tells me to get in line. I told her that I came to this register because this is where she helped me before and it's right by where the keys and paperwork for the cars are kept. So Im annoyed but I get in line and wait. The best part of the story is AFTER we pay and are exiting the store, we are carrying the items that we purchased. She rudely asks if we paid for the items! You mean the items that you sent us up to the front to purchase? Yes we did. Why do you feel the need to ask us if we paid for the items??? Did you think we just spent $650 on tires, and then going to try to steal $50 in junk? WTF?!? SHE LOCKS THE DOOR AND DEMANDS TO SEE THE RECEIPT! WE TOLD HER TO GO AHEAD AND CALL SECURITY IF SHE WANTS TO SEE THE RECEIPT. She ain't checking anyone else's receipt, but she wants to see mine? I go here once a week and 80% of the time it's a bad experience. Majority employees are very rude and do not want to be asked any questions. I drove across town to get a polo zip up jacket on sale for half price. I had it in my hands at this location and in my cart. I was told I had to order it online and couldn't purchase instore. This is bullshit. I didn't want to pay extra when i could pick it up myself. You guys do this on purpose to make us pay for pickup or shipping instead of going to the store and grabbing it ourselves. I really liked this Walmart as the self check out makes it so much faster than most locations their long waiting lines. What stands out is the service department, when I was there: no wait and even I purchased warranty on an item, it was just replaced with a new one without the hassle of going through the warranty fixing what so's. Just awesome. Oh and there's a Mc Donald's which I'm trying to stay away from:) and a nail salon. read more

What has happened yo this Wal-Mart? It's memorial day, the place is packed and every self checkout is closed and only 5 check out lanes are open. Why? Who thinks this is a good idea? After 15 minutes of standing in line not moving I dumped my cart and went down the street to Smiths instead. In and out in 15 minutes. This isn't the first time this has happened either. They close all of the self checkout lanes and force you to into massive lines as there are only a handful of cashiers working the checkout lanes. This was my last visit to the Charleston store and will never return. read more

I went to this location because it was on my way home. I just needed to pick up a few things and be on my way home. As a Walmart+ member, I am allowed to use separate kiosks in the self check out area. However, those kiosks were all closed, so I went to another kiosk and began to check out, and all I needed to do was confirm my payment type. Only the associate there told me I wasn't allowed to continue. I repeatedly told her that they were all closed and she needed to let me continue because all I needed to do was confirm my payment type and be on my way. The cow wouldn't let me continue and kept arguing with me that I wasn't allowed to use a "regular" kiosk because an associate there had to "audit" my purchase. Why she refused to help me is beyond me because her reason was so ridiculous. Keep in mind, I am disabled and I have difficulty walking, and of course, there were no scooters available, and I am in pain at this point getting angrier and angrier at this stupid cow but I wasn't going to cause a scene and turn into a Karen. So, I was FORCED to go back to the previous area only to see that there is ONLY ONE kiosk open. I told the gal there what had happened, and she told me the cow that didn't let me continue was wrong for what she did and told me. I'm still infuriated. read more

Went there yesterday to have a tire repaired, got a appointment same day. Came back for the appointment and was told "we don't do same day appointments" Guy took it to a manager, and manager said ok, do it. He NEVER even looked at the tire and said "they won't fix the tire cuz it's on a sidewall" ( the TINY nail was near the first tread groove AWAY from the sidewall) BTW, he didn't even LOOK at the tire ! I took it down the street to another tire store and THEY FIXED THE TIRE WITH AN INSIDE PATCH ! I'm sure WALMART would have wanted to sell me a BRAND NEW tire if I said ok.
